9 Lucky?

Being stuck an island put Theo and the girls in a grave situation. Although they could just live here despite some dangerous beasts lurking around as they can just threaten them with their powers, living in such poor condition is just too unbearable.

First, no proper toilets.

Second, no proper clothes.

Third, no proper roads.

Well, although this three might seem shallow imagine tripping yourself almost every day because of uneven grounds. Proper hygiene has been a problem lately, Theo was fine but for the other two who were girls, they could grumble all day about complaining about having a hard time to do things.

It's not like they haven't tried escaping these past few days. Already tried making an ice boat with Aurora's magic but sadly the ocean was more dangerous than they'd ever thought. Nevermind the towering waves, just seeing dead beasts washed up on shore almost scared the hell out of the trio.

Theo, could go and try flying away, but who knows how long until his wings gave out and only finds himself stuck in the middle of the ocean. Abandoning the two was also out of the question. His spider form doesn't even stand a match to a small fish so his piranha whom have the most fighting power was also useless.

How could even Theo's piranha a size just a bit bigger than a fist ever fight with big sharks when he's almost just the size of its teeth. Aurora's magic couldn't even get past the ocean when she tried hitting a huge shark swimming underwater. What use are Charlotte's martial skill and godly cooking in this situation? Lure away some beasts with food? Even if they hunted all the animals on the island wouldn't last for a while before the beasts on the water ate all of it.

Tried asking help from their other classmates, but what could they do? If one of the trios had the power of their classmate Jack, nicknamed MrHartHeart, who had lightning powers, they could've tried electrocuting this ocean monsters to death. Would that even work?

So the trio could only resort to get stronger as these beasts wouldn't be matched if Theo had a Megalodon-like form or if Aurora's magic could vaporize the whole ocean. All of this might be possible in the future but now all of this was wishful thinking. That's why they could only get stronger!

"This Sucks!" Theo shouted in dissatisfaction.

Currently, Theo was swimming in some nameless lake on the island. Ever since knowing that they could only leave this god-forsaken island with sufficient power, Theo has been invading different body of waters which wasn't connected directly to the ocean. Eating animals became his hobby, ferocious or not Theo ate all of them. Even animals who were just drinking was not spared to his carnage.

Due to his excessive devouring of animals, Theo's piranha form was finally at its adult stage and his level soared from level 4 to 10 but lately, he wasn't able to level up anymore.

A bunch of information popped up as Theo said in his mind "Status up"

Upon seeing his level, Theo thought to himself "Still stuck in level 10?"

"WTF is the problem?! Athena please if you're really the Goddess of Wisdom can you explain this?!"

At this moment Theo couldn't help ask for Athena's help as he doesn't know what's really the problem. As if Theo's words were heard a familiar gentle voice was heard in his mind.

"Doubting me? Even to speak my name so rudely, you should be punished" As those words were said by a voice belonging to Athena an excruciating pain was felt by Theo as he thrashed around the lake as if a fish out of the water.

"Fu-, Please I'm begging you! I'm sorry" Theo uttered these words in extreme agony as he begged Athena for forgiveness. Who knew Athena would be so angry by just simple words?

But as he is her champion, Athena decided to left him off for now and the pain soon subsided as Theo regained senses as he properly apologizes.

"I'm very sorry God Master!"

Although Athena was mad she knew managed to relieve it through Theo's suffering.

"Humph* It's not good to just ask for my help every time! Try doing it yourself sometimes and never question my authority! So speak what is your question"

"I'm truly sorry and I will do so!"

Theo then asked for why was his piranha unable to level up.

Athena just told him that his piranha form was just a wild animal! And every wild animal has a barrier upon reaching level 10 preventing them from breaking through. If a wild animal managed to breakthrough they'd become a spirit beast.

In this world, wild animal's are considered extinct as every living thing were nurtured with mana since birth causing them to form a glass stone called "crystal" which is the lifeline of most spirit beasts.

"I don't know if you should be considered lucky or not having encountered beings such as this which should've just existed back on world deprived of mana like your home-planet, Earth." Athena laughed.

Indeed for Theo to encounter strong beasts was good for him, but the only question was How would he defeat them? But being stuck in an island inhabited only by weak animals with no hope of escaping could be considered good if you look at it in a bright side. They'd just have to live the rest of their lives until one they'd commit suicide because of loneliness. Who can promise that they'd live peacefully at the end of the day?

"Don't worry something good will happen to you! Hopefully..." Athena said.

Hearing her last word, Theo grew anxious as he heard the word "hopefully" as if something bad was about to happen.
