19 The Party: 1
The place was grand, a tall and beautiful mansion to be precise, it felt more like going to a ball.
The people around wore their best, girls with glittery cloth clading their body and guys in wtheir typical designer cloths.
It was like the whole school was present, one could literally get lost in the building.
The party felt more right and the girls had to give Blake and his team an acknowledgement.
Every body around looked drunk, and every corner was filled with people chatting, kissing, groping or fucking themselves.
It was the exact environment needed for what they planned to do, an environment where no one was paying attention to anyone except the people around them.
But the truth is that everyone there were intoxicated, each one feeling euphoric and more happy than ever.
With the help of the music blaring through the speakers, the exact mood needed was set.
Upon entering, they signaled to the people they set at the door side who were to keep an eye on everyone who entered and go out, making sure not to miss the two particular faces they wanted, then to the people who were to serve them drinks upon entering before signaling to the two camera handlers, Jacob excluded.
Since they weren't ready to party fully, they went up the stairs to stand at the railing aiming to overlook the people dancing and having their personal fun.
As they were about to take their drinks Jacob suddenly appeared on them making them jump and Mia almost spilled her drink.
She was running high on adrenaline since she was being a hawk herself, making sure to look around just in case those people missed anything.
"Hope you brought your camera?" Olivia asked after she settled her nerves
"That's like the main reason I'm here apart from the fact that I want to get drunk and fuck someone random" he replied while showing them the camera case
"So what moments do you want to capture?" he asked after taking a sip from the drink with him.
"Calm your balls, you would soon get to know" Ryan replied knowing that if he knew what he was to do he would back out immediately.
"Okay then" he said downing his drink before moving away to get another
And while that was going on, Natie had excused herself to go check up on the person who was to serve their targets drinks
"Hey" she said after she met the guy incharge of the drinks
"Yo" he said while mixing the drinks
She passed him a wrapped paper from the counter after looking around to see if there are people looking and confirming there wasn't "I hope you've got everything else covered?" she asked after he checked the content
"Yeah" he said smiling "you just make sure you balance me after I do my job that's all" he said
"Sure no probs, you just make sure you do a very good job and who knows, you might receive a huge tip" she said with a smile
"I promise I'll do a very good job" he said with a sinister grin which made Natalie happy.
"Good" she winked before moving away drom the counter
"Was that the guy who would be serving them drinks?" Ryan asked after Natie came back to join them
"Yeah"
"So what did he say?" Mia asked
"He's got it covered" she replied
"So what are we doing next?" Ryan asked
"I already checked with the girls and they are okay" Olivia said after checking her message for a final confirmation.
"That's good then" Mia said " I guess we would just mingle until our guests arrives"
"I guess that's what we would do then" Natie clarified
"But are you guys sure they would be coming?" Mia asked, it had been eating away her mind but she wasn't sure if she should ask or not, she doesn't want to create an element of doubt in her friends
"Would you just calm you fucking mind down, ofcourse they would come, I mean who would get an invite to this kind of party and trun it down?" Natie said confidently even though she was feeling a bit worried they might not come.
"Us?" Mia replied with a question earning a glare from Natie
"Really Mia, really" she said "do they look or act like us?"
"Well you asked a question and I answered" knowingly teasing her
"This is how you get on my nerves and I know you know it" Natie said immediately downing her drink
"Sorry" Mia resigned
"Hey girls" a guy said behind them and turning to see who, they saw it was Blake accompanied with Xander and Eric
"Excuse me" Ryan said with an immediate effect and taking it as her hatred for anythings that has to do with jocks the girls laughed it off and excused her
"Does she really dislike us that much" Xander asked as he looked at Ryan make her exit until she was out of sight
"If I were asked, I'd rather classify it under extreme hate" Mia said smiling
"Is it that bad" Blake asked a little bit shocked
"Trust me, it's more than you think" Olivia said
"What about the rest of you?" he asked
"Well normally I wouldn't be making casual talks with you but considering the fact that you were able to make a party this huge within such limited time, you've earned a little respect from me" Olivia said and Blake bursted into a full blown grin
"I'm actually happy to hear that" he said
"Really? Well I second that and also you guys seem to be a bit more cultured than I thought"
"I'm actually glad to hear that" Eric said
"Really, if you know since when we've been meaing to gain at least a slight recognition from you guys" Xander said with a broad smile, but still in a small place in his heart, he couldn't take Ryan off his mind...
"I'm a bit flattered" Natalie said faking a blush earning laughs from the rest of them
"But really you guys tried with this party, it really exceeded our expectations" Mia said looking around while casually sipping her drink
"Thanks again" Blake said
"If I may ask, who owns the property?" Olivka asked curiously
"It's a friend of mine, he also attends this school but isn't really a party freak so I had to beg him with my life to get him to release it" Eric explained
"Really, he must be a very rich guy" Natalie said taking note of the huge balll room and the spaces filled with people
"Yeah he is, I mean his dad is a multimillionaire so..." he said with a smile
"Really, how old is he?" Mia asked wanting to know if he's old enough to take over his father business
"He's 24" he replied
"Wow" the girls said " he would soon be the CEO then" Natalie said smiling
"And don't look at me like that I'm not planning to hit on him" she said glaring at Xander who was looking at her with huge eyes
"I wasn't thinking that!" he exclaimed trying to cover up his blush
"Your ears are red so I guess you're lying" Natie countered with a smile while the rest of them laughed
But all their little jokes and laughs ended when Jacob came back to meet them, it was as if the temperature in the room dropped with the way both him and Blake kept sending eye daggers to themselves.
"What are you guys talking about?" he asked the girls
"Nothing much, just talking about how good they set up the party" Natie said while Blake and the boys gave a wide grin
"I don't even understand why you guys didnt ask me, you know I would have done better than this" he said with slight anger directed to the girls
"And we didn't as you for a reason" Olivia said making Blake and his crew snicker and Jacob almost jumped them that moment if Ryan didn't come back
"They're here" she said immediately she appeared
"Where?" Olivia asked immediately getting the message
"At the counter getting drinks" she replied
"Sorry boys, we have to go" Mia said "catch you later?" she asked
"Sure, anytime" Blake said with a smile before walking away with his friends
"Let's go" Ryan said and they all moved
When Natie looked back she noticed Jacob wasn't following them so she had to go back and meet him
"Common what are you waiting for?" she asked immediately she saw him
"I'm angry" he said with a scowl
She paused a bit, trying to decide what to do with the situation, they needed him and she couldn't let him stay angry 'he may not do a very good job if he's angry' she thought to herself.
But deep down she knows it was only an excuse to fo ehat she has longed to do since forever, after a while of trying to decide what to do with her emotions, she kissed him
"Whatever is it that's making you angry would have to wait for now, common" she said with a smile before dragging a dumbfounded Jacob along with her.
