He Lan felt her temper surge. She grabbed Chi Bo's ear and snarled, "You told me that there was a lot of work to do in the company, so you were working overtime. So you were hiding here to chat with a woman?! Do you want to die?!"

"Lan Lan, I was wrong!" Chi Bo hurriedly begged for mercy, but He Lan had no intention of letting him off. She raised her leg and kicked Chi Bo's butt.

"Wrong, you know that you're wrong? Tell me, what are you doing here? Why didn't you go home for no reason? Who is that woman? How long have you been together…" He Lan asked as she hit him. Chi Bo could not answer for a moment.

When He Lan was tired, she panted and looked at Chi Bo, who had a swollen face, waiting for his answer.

It was weird to see Chi Bo being so afraid of He Lan. He did not retaliate or complain the entire time. Other than begging for mercy, he did not do anything else.

"Let me ask you, did you kidnap anyone?" He Lan asked.
