12 CHAPTER TWELVE

Everyday after that date was a blessing.

Every morning, Haru would come visiting and he would take I and Takato out for fun.

We've been to the zoo, parade, amusement and finally the beach.

Every time we left, people always said mistook us for a family and Haru would just play along and tease me all the time while Takato would do his own thing, ignoring me.

I was in front of a fountain in the park waiting for Haru.

Today was going to be our third date with just the two of us getting along.

I was really shy and embarrassed because I knew he would not recognize me and it was all Rin and the girls idea.

"Hey Yuki, I heard you're going on a date with Haru and since I wanted to apologize. I bought you this." Rin said as she gave me a box which was slightly heavy.

"What is it?"

"Just open it." Rin requested before I sat down, getting all the attention from the girls and then they surrounded me as I opened it.

I touched it to feel it was soft before picking up the fabric and then dropping it back in the box.

"I think you made a mistake. These are women clothes even though it is my size."

"I know that's why I bought it. You have to wear this, you're already so feminine that this will just be a bonus. Consider it a blessing."

"No way."

"Come on chief, a simple dress won't kill you. Some males do it and most women look like men." Momo complained before I gave her a stink eye.

"Just this once, I promise you won't regret this." Rin said with a grin on her face before I sighed knowing she won't leave me till I agree to wear this.

"Fine." I said before all of them started to high five.

I was totally going to regret this.

And here I was wearing it. Everyone I passed would keep their eyes on me like I was some tasty meal waiting to be eaten.

What I wore was simple but it caught the attention of the crowd.

I wore a black and red gown with off shoulders, ripped long sleeves, long black knee socks, red shoes, butterfly earrings and necklace, and a black and red headband.

I didn't put on any makeup except powder and lip gloss but my face seemed to always glow no matter what.

I sighed as I checked my phone before i looked up and spotted Haru.

He was checking the time on his watch as he looked around for me before his eyes met mine.

He removed it immediately and walked forward but he stopped and moved back and looked at me again before I smiled shyly and waved at him making him to blush in result.

He walked up to me before he glared at me again.

"Wow! You...you look amazing." He complimented me making me to look at him confidently.

"You're ten minutes late." I said as I folded my hands before he placed a hand on his chest.

"I apologize, I have no excuse. I had to get something done in the office before leaving." He apologized before I laughed and held his hand.

"It's okay, let's go on our date." I requested before he blushed and then we entered his car.

We talked about something many irrelevant topics until we got to a large plantation with so many workers.

He took my hand and then three people walked up to us with a smile on their face.

"Mr Aizawa it's so good to see you. You could have told us you were coming." The female beta with bright red hair and green eyes said as she and the two workers behind her bowed.

"Sorry Aiko. I just came to have fun. Yuki this is Aiko Yuuta, Yuki Tomoki." Haru introduced before Aiko took off her gloves and shook me.

The other ones which were another alpha and a beta, both males shook me too and then they waved us goodbye before Haru smiled proudly.

"What is this place?" I asked before Haru faced me.

"My plantation. This is where we grow, produce, distribute, process and export food for the world. It's the fourth biggest in Japan." He explained before I nodded and looked at it on surprise.

Haru took my hand before we entered a small car inside the plantation and started to drive around town.

It was fun and refreshing plus I helped in picking some fruits which was fun if Haru hadn't been hadn't been worrying whenever I climbed a tree.

After seeing the plantation, we drove to a mountain side where we were given equipments for zipline sport.

"How safe is this?" I asked before Haru laughed and then helped me set up.

"I did this just last week so I'm positive it's a hundred percentage safe." He assured me before I breathed in and out.

I have never done this before. When Rin had invited me, I was too focused on getting my life together to have fun and I guess Haru was just making me do all the things I couldn't do when I was younger.

"Well you're all set." He said before he slowly released me and then the line started to move making me to scream in fear and excitement.

When Haru came to the other side, he hugged me when he saw how I was laughing with one of the employees before the man waved bye and then Haru looked at me.

"You don't have to be jealous, he was just praising me for my first time." I explained before Haru kissed my lips and then my nose.

"That's because you didn't see how he was looking at you. I don't want anyone else looking at you like that." He said before I blushed he took my hand and we started going to the next venue.

It was really fun what we did the whole day.

We went to a greenhouse and saw different flowers, rode bicycle around the street, watched a movie and went shopping.

"Isn't this too expensive?" I asked as we entered a very fancy looking restaurant.

"Not really. I want the best for you." Haru said before he spoke to the receptionist.

We were lead to our table which was a private room before the menu was presented to us.

After ordering our food and the food being presented, I started to eat because I was hungry.

"So did you have fun?" Haru asked as I raised a thumbs up making him to give a small smile.

"Is something wrong?" I asked as I dropped down my cutleries before he sighed.

"We need to talk about something important."

"About what?" I asked before I was responded with a pregnant pause.

Haru dropped his cutleries before looking into my eyes.

"Who is Takato's real father?" He asked making my heart to beat fast.

It wasn't the good kind of beating, it was the type that also made my head hurt.

"I already told you..."

"That Akio is his father? I thought so." He said before the door opened and a man walked in and presented me a folder which I collected.

"W-what's this?" I asked before fearfully looking at Haru.

"DNA results." He responded before I tore the envelope open and then started to read it quickly.

I froze when I saw the results, 98.8%, biological related.

I dropped the paper on the table before I brought down my head in shame.

Haru knew. He had known all this time and he never told me, the date were not a recent occurrence.

Did he also know the truth?

I was about to speak when Haru stood up and walked to my side.

He fell to his knees then placed his hands on the floor and his head on top of the back of his hand.

"I may not remember but I'm sorry. Please forgive for everything that I did to you seven years ago, for hurting you instead of protecting you. I did something unforgivable that no matter how many times I beg, I still don't deserve your forgiveness. If I could go back to the past, I would change everything and have made myself more approachable, I wouldn't have caused you so much pain and left you to raise our son alone. I know it must have been hard." Haru explained before he lifted his head and my teary eyes saw his own tears.

"H-how d-did y-you know?" I asked with my body already trembling while I tried to get my emotions under control.

"I met Kiba Hyouda a few months back. He confessed that he had some guilt on his shoulders and gave me a CD. I...I watched it and I couldn't be at peace ever since then. I finally understood why you never wanted to be involved with me. I've always been in love with you and after finding this out, I was actually surprised when I asked you out and you accepted. But that's exactly why I tried my best to make you happy because I want you and Takato to be in my life." Haru said as held held my hands.

"I know it sound wrong but I'm happy that we have Takato because his the strongest connection we have apart from the fact that your my fated bond. That's why, I'll do anything I can to make up for not being there for you." Haru explained his heart intention before I cleaned my eyes and then faced him properly.

"Before I say anything I want to ask something?" I asked before Haru knelt upright.

"Yes."

"Do you love me or...are you doing this because you want to redeem yourself?" The last part came out softly as I closed my eyes and clenched my gown tightly.

Maybe I was hoping that deep down Haru loved me sincerely.

"April 1st, 2013. That was the first time I saw you. To me you were another omega who was just added to this school as an extra the school brought for us to play around but then you were different. You stood like an equal, fighting and being a source of hope for the weak. You were speaking for everyone and I guess that was why was I started walking around block B even though it far from my block. It was just to see you every lunch even though you never gave my group your attention, I loved you more." Haru started.

"When you disappeared I was desperate and empty. Everything went back to normal and it more unbearable that I couldn't help you when you passed out in front of me. After finding out why you left, I felt my lungs and heart being crushed by guilt. But to be honest, I love you more than any guilt in this world. If you don't believe me then know that you own everything and if you leave me again, I might just lose it." Haru explained before I dropped on the floor and hugged him and started crying.

"Why does it hurt so much? Why can't I just hate you? Why can't I leave you alone?"

"Because you love me the same way I love you." Haru responded before he hugged me with his bigger hands.

"Thank you. Thank you."

I was outside on top of a flyover when Haru walked up and handed me an ice-cream bar.

I took it with a gentle smile before I opened it and took a bite.

"All those years back, did you ever consider telling me about Takato?" Haru asked before I stopped and then brought down the ice-cream a little.

I held his hand before rubbing softly against his cheeks.

"Haru there's something I have to tell you."

"What is it?"

"You won't like this but it's about your mother."
