2 His Promise.

My second day as a transfer student in Park University.

Today is my first chemistry practical. I hoped that I should get a good partner who can focus on the experiments and help for gaining good marks.

But..... I was shocked and went still for a moment when I heard the name of my partner. It was Jeon Jungkook. Like seriously in the whole school my partner was 'Jungkook'? The most famous playboy, casanova and how can I forget the bad boy of our batch.

I thought my last year was going to be the worst with such a miserable partner. But I think I was wrong...

But while doing the first experiment Jungkook never talked to me and neither he helped in doing the experiment. He just kept on flirting with other girls. For some time even I was mesmerized by his handsome face but then I remembered the reason of me being in this school.

Even after a month he used to come in lab and flirt with girls, at last I got irritated and took on my anger over him. He was stunned with my behavior but then he gave me a mischievous smile and started helping me. From that day we started talking and eventually became good friends from then.

We used to study together. There was something different between us, definitely we were not just friends, we were more then it. He never flirted with me. We were not dating but then too whenever he used to flirt with other girls I feeled jealous. Maybe because I was falling for him and Jungkook had idea about it but he never cared about it.

He never allowed any boy to flirt with me, maybe because I was his only female friend and he was possessive about. Any boy never ever dared to talk to me when Jungkook was around me. The only boys who used to talk to me were Jungkook's best friends Jimin and Taehyung. I thought that reason behind this was because I was not good looking like other girls. I was always bullied for this reason in my previous school but I was thankfull that it is not the same in this school. It was only possible because Jungkook was always there for me, whenever anyone tried to bully me Jungkook fought for me. This is also a reason that I was falling for Jungkook.

But the peace of not being bullied didn't remained for long.

It was a prep day when I was helping the class representative for the events and in that hullabaloo I stumbled into someone. Oh my bad I stumbled into a boy again and his coffee was all over his clothes. But it was not same as crashing with Jungkook, this was the starting of the most horrible part of my life. That boy started arguing with me, I kept on saying sorry but it was of no vail. That boy started making jokes of me and some students were laughing while some were just staring. He started commenting on my looks. This is it bullying on my looks was happening again and as previous time I was helpless and had no one with me.

But somehow I gathered my guts and punched him. He cursed me and was about to beat me when Jungkook came in and punched that boy in the face. They both were soon into a fight. The situation was out of control so the principle was called and the principle stopped the fight. They both got expelled for a week.

After everything got over Jungkook came to me asked me how I was? I said, "I'm OK! " But it was a lie. But then I noticed the injuries and bruises Jungkook had on his face and arms. My eyes were filled with tears with the thought that the boy I liked was in this situation only because of me!! Why he did this? Many questions were coming in my mind. But I just kept on saying 'sorry' and 'thank you' to him.

While going outside the college gate, the boy who tried to beat me and injured Jungkook so much so much came to us. Jungkook immediately stood between us protectively. But boy's eyes just stared me with rage. He said," I will not forgive you and I will make sure to make your life a hell.... "

I was scared to death, was is he going to do?

But then Jungkook's those soothing words just drew all my worries away. He said, "no matter what I will always stay by your side and protect you!"

Oh God, this boy never fails to make my heart flutter, there were butterflies in my stomach and the way he was gazes at me with those beautiful eyes have made me fall for him.....
