"Log 1 of many many more, We were moved to a new lab today a top-secret military project damn bureaucrats I was so close to figuring out the secrets of teleportation they decided this was more important than instant travel between planets." An older woman with white streaks through her already silver hair sips an energy drink of some kind, bags under her eyes while people in white lab coats scurry around in the background machinery hum and the muffled sounds of people speaking and setting up equipment, her eyes are scanning a paper in front of her reflecting the light off the silver mirror that is her Irises. "Wait...they want to use my knowledge of teleportation... to make a hyperlink drive for intergalactic travel? They don't even understand the level of energy needed for something that massive of an undertaking." She sighs before continuing, "End of log. I'm going to ram my foot up that Robot's a..."

"Log 16, After 16 days of bantering and useless Bickering they relented enough to allow us to use a Dyson Sphere, I managed to convince them on a gateway powered by the Dyson sphere using my soon to be finished project we could in theory warp the object in question to a set longitude and latitude a certain distance away and make 'Jump waypoints' so long as we don't hit a black hole along the way it would turn an eon's worth of travel into a few months, by then we should be able too to figure out a way to store enough power for multiple gates to be used at once lets hope this goes well."

A fluctuation of some sort caused by incorrect data ended up well, separated everything not welded together completely deconstructed it in an instant into separate components the engineers managed to put the ship back together, We need to correct the data and try again."
