1 1/ Gift Fiasco

Matt just had a talk with his brother Noah, and from what he's heard, that's exactly what happened.

Only a flight mistake from Mexico to New Mexico and I'm one of his best men.

I've never been into love, nor weddings. But if it means pausing his business and travelling all the way through a whole continent, then she must be worth it.

And to his surprise, she was.

For a moment there, he kind of wished he was in Noah's shoes right then. The eye bagged new accountant that always had a faded tie on, and always arrived home in the middle of the night. He knows cause Matt has lived with him.

But it wasn't because the girl was acting clingy. No. And to be honest, I don't think he's hooked up with a chick since High School Graduation.

Yep, gone are the days when his dear ole' bro could do the whole cheer leading team.

Well now freshly out of college, instead of enjoying his youth while it's still ripe, Matt has somehow found himself on an Alter next to the dazed groom. And from the looks of things, he wouldn't be regretting it anytime soon.

But that's what makes us the exact opposites.

Noah was probably seeing himself with two kids ten years from there already, but Matt? Well he wasn't sure which hotel he would've his lunch in talk about a decade.

The thought clears from his eyes when they come intact with the dragging white dress as a really thin woman embodied with flowers as beautiful as the bouquet in her hand majestically walks in.

Yep. Even their taste in women is different.

Matt might have been right about her nor being worth it, but what he was spot on about is that the rest of the event was a complete drag.

The lady let go of her Father, they exchanged their wedding vows, rings and everything. Later, it was time for the wedding gifts.

What he had in mind was their wedding night lingerie. Already had it rapped and everything. But somehow, he's initial intention was to give her personally.

But noting that she might not be that kind of girl to take a joke, he ends up dumping it in the back of his car, and replacing it by removing his brand new silver watch from his hand and placing it into the pack.

Might have been a little masculine, but she didn't seem to mind although Matt believed females were the best at pretending. Still although he made it out with Valerie, that wasn't the same case with his brother.

The glare Noah shot him showed he already knew it was last minute gift. Well after that fiasco, what he had in mind was to skip this dump and go out with the guys his brother wasn't aware of that he arrived with.

Still, he knew within that it wasn't exactly a dump, but the sick feeling the happy environment gave him in his guts said otherwise.

Some might think he was confused to be exact but he knew it was the type only gotten after a cringe love movie.

Suddenly, something caught his eye. But it wasn't something, but someone.

And that someone, was showing enough skin Matt's way to make him sure she wanted him.

Well a happy observation was made today for Matt. Turns out he can go as his normal self without looking rich and still score girls.

So when she suddenly gets up and disappears in her long red wine dress into the women's room of the after party hotel, Matt knew he was gonna have a little fun in this wedding.

And after about twenty long minutes, he realises something else.

She's gonna be in his next video.

Hey guys, so I'm writing this here cause it's a bit long.

Wow. Can't believe this chapter is finally published. Like sincerely, I remember feeling so damn lonely in class that I just begun to write and although it didn't solve anything, it weighed the pressure of school less. I guess everyone has their different ways of dealing with stress. Guess mine is writing. And I'm so happy to begin that on this platform.
