1 House of Gianna

I saw him. "There he was finally! Finally I got him! So, this is what freedom is? Finally I will be happy!!" that's what I have in mind while looking on his closed eyes, cold and not moving body. The man is finally dead and this is my reward after all the years of being alone and all the painful memories that made me stronger. He is finally Dead!!!!!

"Oh, Maria! Look at Odessa she is growing up to be a very fine girl!" Antoinette said while she's touching my curves in both side of my body. "Do you think Gianna will teach her things we do?" she asked. Maria stand up from her seat and put her book at the table, "Well, yes Odessa is beautiful. How old are you again?" Maria asked me. "I recently got 13" answered skeptically and wanted to get out of their room. I was just been asked by mama Gia to give them a letter and then all of sudden this.. I have a lot of things to do!!!

"13? Recently?" shocked response by Antoinette and again looking at my curvaceous body. Then, she looked at Maria.

"Well, I guess Gianna will keep this one as a gift." she said and went back on reading, now the letter that I gave her earlier.

"I think if this little lady got older, we will be expired. Unwanted." Maria added. Then, Antoinette just sigh. She smiled at me then let me get out of their room.

I was running to go back at the garden to look for my tulips when mama Gia find me. "Odessa!" I look back and saw her, her eyebrow is upward. She walked towards me, "What did I say about running? You know that is not so lady like", she tuck some hair on my ear and make me stand still." You are now a little lady, so you should be and act like one now", she looks at me and made me twirl," Well at least your dress is neat. Come I will teach you the ethics of how a lady should act." She lead me as we walked straight in the lobby to go to her library.

After hours and hours of teaching. I am thankful for someone who knocked on the door! "Madam, pardon for intervening but Lord Louis of Pasadena is in the guest room." Fidel, the butler of the House of Gianna came in and tell mama Gia about her visitor. She stood up and leave abruptly, Fidel winks at me and mouthed me "Go" and I bow down to him and run outside.

I went to the garden and lay there beside my tulips, I was looking in the sky and somehow slept there, I woke up when I hear a commotion. So, I sneak out to where the commotion is. I saw Lord Louis of Pasadena, and he is shouting at mama Gia.

"I told you already! Why did you ever do that? You don't know a thing Gianna! I trusted you!!!", mama Gia is on her knee and holding one of his ankle, " I am sorry my Lord, but I don't have the heart to do it." she is crying. "Spare the House of Gianna, spare my ladies." she begs at him. My fist are clenched and I wanted to punch the Lord cause he is now using his walking stick to mama Gia to get her off him. "Oh don't worry my Gianna, I won't let your house be closed." he said. "Oh thank you! Thank you my Lord!" she answered and still at the floor, now kissing his feet. "But you have to give me free services from your women." he said and laughing hard. Pig. You unwanted dirty hungry greedy man pig!

"Of course my Lord. Whoever you want!" mama Gia said.

"Anyone?" the pig asked.

"Yes." she answered.

Then, Lord Louis of Pasadena suddenly looked at my way. He smirked at me and wet his lips through his tongue. "Train her to be your best woman Gianna. In time I will get her!" he said laughing and mama Gia looked at me and her head swaying left and right. The pig keeps on laughing as he get out of the House of Gianna. I was stuck and can't move as I remember his words. while mama Gia left crying on the floor.

It was past ten and I am still not sleeping though, already laying on my bed. Remembering with that greedy man pig's words. "I will get her!" just keeps on haunting me. I keep on wondering why. I mean, there are many ladies in the House of Gianna, from all of them why would he choose me? I am the youngest but mama Gia already told me that I am not one of them. She won't teach me the things, she teaches to them. I mean I may not be her real daughter but she gave me her name and she is claiming me as her own. I pinch my forehead. "No, I know she won't. Mama Gia won't make me one the ladies of this house." I keep on saying that to myself. She won't let any men, do things to me. She loves me as her own.

The next morning.

I woke up from someone knocking on my door. It was, Lessie, one of the maid in the House of Gianna, she is a true friend, she may be my helper here but for me she is an older sister. "Oh, just wake up already Odessa. Your mama Gia, will eat breakfast in 10 minutes. You know that she will be mad if you're late in breakfast." I smiled at her and do my things.

I walked down to the dinning room, saw all the ladies of House of Gianna. They are all smiling and greets me "Good morning". I greeted them back, and before I sit at the right side, beside mama Gia, I kissed her cheek and greeted her. Weird. She just nod and she is not smiling. We said grace and ate. Mama Gia said that, we should not talk while eating, well of course except if someone is asking.

After breakfast, she stood up and said, "Odessa, meet me at the library." The ladies are chuckling and made fun of me by saying, "See you at lunch!". Geez, it's only 6 in the morning, do I really have to learn again until noon?

I went upstairs to the library. I knocked first then open the door and saw Mama Gia, looking intently at the window.

"Sit down Odessa." she said. I sit down and wondering where the usual books are?

"It is time for me to teach you the things, the ladies of this House are studying." she said not looking at me.

"But Mama Gia!"

"I am sorry dear but I cannot let him closed the house." she said still not looking at me.

"But why me? Why would he chose me? There are many other ladies in here! More experienced than me! I know nothing about your work!" I said in disbelief.

"That is why I am here. To teach you." she said firmly.

My eyes widen and can't believe that she will really make me one of them!

"I cannot believe this is happening!!" my eyes are getting heavier. "You will really let me become one of the escorts?!" I said as my tears are falling. "Especially to that pig!".

"I am sorry my daughter." she said crying. "As I wish for no man will touch you, except for the one you desire. I don't have the power to do it now. Lord Louis of Pasadena is a very powerful man. When he said or like something or someone, he will surely make a way to have it. I just don't want you to get by him easily." she said while she's touching my hair.

" Easily?" I asked.

"Yes, easily. I will teach you how to get that bastard, and how you will regain your power and integrity. You have to keep in mind that he is the enemy."
