We had spent a few hours shopping for clothing for Vesta and Dossa. Dossa has a lot of clothes already but her race is primarily aquatic so the deserts of Tatooine will be very harsh so we got her some ponchos and lotions for her skin. Vesta needed a whole new wardrobe, after a few thousand credits she ended up looking very similar to Vette from the SWTOR game from my previous life. No complaints from me. Now we were standing in a different kind of shop that mainly sold tech and weapons from blasters to vibroswords. After hunting for a bit I picked two blaster pistols like Jango Fett's and a small vibro dagger for Vesta. I also found a breather for Dossa that we can load H2O cartridges to help her even more if we're on hot dry planets.

"These are for you two!" I tell them happily setting the items I picked on the counter. Out of the corner of my eye I notice a smaller droid in the corner powered down. I recognize the model from a game I played in my past life and became a bit excited. I walked over and kneel by it activating the droid. Lights flicker on and it looks up into my eyes turning its head sideways. "Hello there little BD-1!" I greet the droid. It beeps and boops a greeting back. 'I think it's time to use that...' I muse before putting my hand on the droids head and closing my eyes. Through the force I use {mechu-deru} to see into the droids inner workings and programming. I can sense a slight sentient AI and see its main programming is just standard helper type. I tweak it with a few thoughts to be like the BD-1 from the game mixed with a bit of R2D2's personality and add a loyalty to me and my companions to the droid. Opening my eyes I can see the droid looking at me still but now its bouncing a bit from foot to foot taking in its new programming. "Nice to meet you BD-1, we'll be great friends!" I tell it picking it up and carrying it to the counter, but instead of letting me put it down it scrambled up my arm to sit on the back of my shoulder. "Works for me buddy." I say cheerfully looking back up to see the shopkeeper droid eyeing me strangely.

"All together, the weapons, the breather, the droid and the supply of cartridges for the weapons and breather your total comes to 9,850 credits." The droid says in an emotionless voice. I take out pouch and hand over the credits before gathering all the items in my hand and leaving with my companions behind me.

"We'll catch a lift to my ship then set off. Everyone ready? Or do we need anything else?" I asked over my shoulder.

"This one is ready Master." Dossa says a hint of excitement in her voice, her old master never took her away from the academy grounds and only really trained her between missions. Master Yoda had told her yesterday that things would be very different for her now since Draik rarely came to the temple choosing to go around solving people's problems and helping where he could. This was going to be very new for her, and since her master had died she had very few friends left at the academy pushing many away in her sadness, but now her sadness had diminished greatly with the opportunity she had at her finger tips.

"I'm good! You purchased quite a bit for me already I need nothing else!" Vesta says cheerfully grateful for the man who swooped in and rescued her then proceeded to treat her kindly and accepted her into his life. Thinking about all that a slight blush crept to her cheeks but she hastily pushed it away before either of her new friends noticed. "So you mentioned Tatooine, is that where we're headed?" She asks.

"Yes I feel the force pulling me there. We will be needed there soon." I tell them

"Will we begin this one's training on the way there master?" Dossa asks playing with BD-1 on my shoulder.

"Ah yes, I will be teaching you to become a Jedi Shadow! While it's not really a class of Jedi in these days, in the old republic when we were at war with the Sith, the Jedi Shadow was an integral member of our forces. They slipped in gathering information unseen, they also used many abilities that allowed them to stand as an unmovable bulwark like Jedi Guardians keeping enemies away from weaker members of the party. Or if you wish I can teach you to become a Sage which mainly focuses in using the force to heal or protect others. The choice is really up to you Dossa." I tell her thinking about the classes from the video game. 'Jedi today do not really use the classes of the old republic any more but I find that extremely foolish. I will give Dossa the opportunity to live up to her fullest potential!' I think while my padawan considers the way her life will go.

"Master.. This one would like to know if it is possible to do both?" Dossa asks thoughtfully.

"Good question Dossa. Yes it is possible! If stealth is not your style we can train you to stand against many and heal or you can be stealthy and heal or whatever you wish. I just want you to really consider not doing it all. It would become time consuming to teach everything about both and will hinder your development." I tell patting her on the back.

"Master this one will meditate on it. This one was also wondering, you called them a class of Jedi, so what class would you be?" Dossa asked and I see Vesta listening interested in my answer.

"In the old days of the republic I would be considered a Jedi Sentinel. I use two lightsabers along with the force to float through the battlefield causing maximum damage to mine enemies. But I have a bit of a different mind than most humans in the way that I can absorb a lot of information about many different things, that's why I know the abilities to pass on to you so you can prosper in whatever you choose for yourself my young padawan." I tell her and Vesta looks like she has a question.

"What's on your mind Vesta?" I asked

"You have a lot of knowledge of the old republic and other things, I was just wondering about me and my part in our group?" She asks.

"While I am a Jedi and not as knowledgeable about our other allies I could probably come up with something for you if that is what you wish Vesta.. But you would need to understand we would be coming up with this as we go." I tell her.

"I would like that very much! I want to be useful and not a hindrance since I've decided to assist you in your journey." She replies.

"Okay, I think from my memories you would fit into either a gunslinger class or we could mesh it with what the Sith empire allied class of mercenaries. It would give you to ability to stand at our backs and support us with dealing damage and helping if we get injured." I tell her.

"Beep beep boo beep" BD-1 chimes in.

"I know BD-1, you can heal and help too, haha. I think you'll be a very valuable member of our team!" I tell the droid with a laugh.

"You can understand him?" Vesta asks surprised.

"Well yeah.. Truthfully in the shop I used an ancient force ability created by the Sith to look into his programming and tweak him a bit. Now we have sort of a connection, without it I wouldn't really understand him either." I tell them and Dossa tenses.

"This one learned a bit of the Sith at the academy. You used a dark force ability?" She asked nervously.

"Dossa, look at BD-1. Does he look evil, do I?" I ask coming to a stop in front of the hanger of my ship. She just stares at us for a moment. "These dark abilities you learned about are part of the force, a different side of the same coin. Now let me ask you this, the Jedi mind trick, one of the Jedi's favorite abilities to use. Could it not be used to rob people, or get away with murdering someone? Any force ability can be used for either good or evil no matter where the ability originated. {mechu-deru} the ability I used is actually neither good nor evil until I make the machine do either good or evil. It's just the force. And we live for serving the force, it's our actions that determine weather we are good or evil Dossa." I lecture. I can see her thinking on my words. "Dossa now that I have told my views on the force, you need to make a decision, my views could get me persecuted by our order that is why I do not flaunt them, will you stay with me and learn all I can teach, or would you prefer me take you back to the academy, I understand my views aren't for everyone." I give her the choice.

After a few moments of internally deliberating her options. "This one thinks you make some very good points. This one will stay and learn from you master. The Jedi have done the same thing over and over the same way in their beliefs and wonder why we aren't as prosperous as we once were. This one read in the archives that the order used to be a lot bigger, so maybe it is time for change." She says.

"You are wise beyond your years Dossa. We will discuss more on the way." I tell her with a smile putting my hand on her shoulder guiding us through the hanger doors to stand in front of my ship. "This is Roach! My ship and your new home away from home!" I tell her with a flourish of my hand in the direction of my scout defender hybrid ship. I believe it is one of a kind! I take in the silver and yellow paint job with splashes of red accents here and there. The ramp lowers and we all step in side the cargo hold where a protocol droid is moving around crates of our supplies. "This is TC-14 my protocol droid." I say as I place a hand on the droid and connect to it through the force creating a non annoying feminine version of C3PO's AI and programming.

"Welcome to Roach, Master shall we depart?" The droid asks. BD-1 peaks over my shoulder and TC-14 notices. "Hello little one." TC says sounding almost cheerful.

"We're headed back to the sand pit Tatooine TC. This is BD, your need family member. This is my padawan Dossa, and you briefly met Vesta I believe." I tell TC pointing to everyone.

"Yes I saw TC, she even helped me drag you to the bed when you passed out. She didn't sound so lively at the time though." Vesta says a bit amazed.

"After connecting to this little guy" I say taking BD from my shoulder "I discovered I could give them more personality, and since we will all be together for the foreseeable future I think them having their own personalities will be nice." I tell them and BD chirps happily running around the ship exploring after I set him down. "Down that hallway are bedrooms just pick which ever one you like, mine is at the end. There are showers and toilets connected to each room. Down that hallway there is a meditation room, the med bay, and a conference room. Up ahead and up the latter is the cockpit. I will go ahead and get us on our way so go settle yourselves in, TC provide them anything they need, BD lets get you scopelinked into the ship then you can shut down and recharge or whatever you need to do okay little buddy?" I give out my orders as BD climbs onto his spot on my back as I head for the latter up to the cockpit.

---------------------------------------

Over the next few days of traveling I taught my padawan how to heal using the force and how to wrap herself in the force to either become one with her surroundings or to reinforce herself making her the tank of our group. I spent time with Vesta teaching her to fight with the vibro dagger and how to shoot her blaster pistols with deadly accuracy. They both took to my lessons very quickly becoming quite adept with their perspective classes. Dossa has taken to tying her tentacles back behind her back to keep them out of her way during lightsaber training. Her style has a lot of spinning and twirling and they were a few times she almost injured herself during training. I spent a good bit of time meditating on various force abilities I received via my wishes from the god that sent me here. Besides {mechu-deru} I also really like the {force lightening} ability from the darkside, I have also learned how to influence midichlorians. I haven't brought it up to Vesta yet but I could potentially influence her meager amount to reproduce rapidly creating a link between her and the force. The order would be very upset with me for training her in the force with how old she is though so I would have to find a way to keep it from them.

"Beep boo beep." BD sounds from beside me as I had nodded off in the pilots seat.

I opened my eyes to see the tan waterless planet. "Ah Tatooine!" I say before turning on the intercoms. "Dossa, Vesta, time to come strap in we'll be landing soon, we're here!" I tell them and turn the switch off. "BD set us a course to land in Mos Espa." I tell him and he plugs his scope link in and I see our headings change.

"Master, this one is excited, admittedly. This one has never left Coruscant, this will be a first." Dossa says coming up the latter and taking one of the chairs.

"I've never been to Tatooine myself, heard a few things about from the ports I've visited though. Barren, hot, dry, dirty, just some of the words used to describe it." Vesta chimes in taking her seat as well.

*crackle* *beep* "We're getting a message from the planet." I tell them before hitting the buttons to let the message come through.

"This is the Nubian 327 hailing the Roach's crew. Draik is that you?" I hear a voice I recognize from our few run ins at the temple during my childhood and on the few occasions we ran into each other while I was with my master.

"Obi-wan! Yeah you're talking to Draik! What are you doing on Tatooine?!" I call back to my friend. He and I get along well and I really look up to his master Qui-gon.

"It's good to hear from you! The force truly brought you in time. We just landed here, our hyperdrive is shot and we're stranded here! Master Qui-gon is panning to go look into getting us a new one in town. I'm sending you our coordinates we could use a hand." He sends back.

"Copy that Obi see you soon, tell your master to wait for me and I'll accompany him. The locals are not an easy people to bargain with, but I have experience here, I acquired a good portion of the Roach's parts in the town you're near." I send back.

"We copy, may the force be with you friend." He send back and the link severs.

"Okay BD land us next to the Nubian." I tell my trusty little friend.

"Beep boop" BD chimes.

"Master, did you know you're friend would be here in need?" Dossa asks.

"No Dossa, I just know that the force was pulling me back here. I knew I was needed here so we came." I tell them only fibbing a little. I really didn't know they would be here yet, but I knew they would be here eventually. "Now as soon as we land, Dossa I need you to go put the breather I got you on and a poncho, Vesta get yourself covered as well, the suns here are very unforgiving." I tell them and they nod in reply. 'Time for the fun to begin.' I think with a grin.

AN: okay so I need some opinions on what Dossa's main class/style will be.. Hope you all liked the chap
