29 Chapter Twenty Eight : The night befalls

I fell on the couch exhausted. It felt like a storm just passed away. I looked at the window. It was still open. The embroidered curtains made of silk were floating by the night breeze. Not too long ago Ian left the room through that window.

I got up quickly and shut them. Before leaving he warned me sharply. I was just not being sure what they wanted. They could have killed me countless times. But they did not do it.

Suddenly Lexa was acting weirdly in my mind. As if she was not being able to relax. It could be that I was getting touched by some other wolves again and again. But because I was a breed, Lexa was more matured than the most of the wolves. By the past few years she learnt how to control her desires a lot when she was gone in my mind. She could feel and think separately from me.

But we were not different. So her every impression had effect on me.

"I am feeling impatient, Lexa. What is it? Why are you like this? Is it because of Ian?" I asked.
