Shinobu just nodded before putting her fake smile on her face. The time started to move again and Kenji moved from his initial pose and looked at her again.

As it was true the wound on his hand was pretty Deep.

Kenji accepted it as it is most logical thing to do. He will get his injuries treated and he might even get a chance to join demon slayer corps.

"But how far is that butterfly estate you spoke of kocho san." Kenji asked as he was still confused at which place he was.

"Oh it's not that far" Shinobu said while smiling. Kenji relieved a sigh of relief as he was pretty tired and needed to go to sleep.

"Only 57km ." However Shinobu's next words made him almost trip.

"THAT FAR! " Kenji shouted in surprise but he calmed down when he saw a slightly amused smile on her face. Which he shouldn't have been able to notice as she is always smiling but he did.

"You know it's not a good thing to tease people like this after what happened just now. " Kenji replied to her with an annoyed face.

"Sorry~" Shinobu said while giggling.

----On their way to Butterfly estate----

Shinobu glanced at Kenji who was looking at his bandaged arm which was done by shinobu to not get any infection till proper treatment.

"Ne Ne Sato-san where do you live?"

Kenji who was looking at his bandaged arm shifted his gaze to look at her. His eyes were giving effects like they were glowing in the moonlight which was mesmerizing. Even though he looked calm externally, he was having an turmoil internally.

'Shit! What should I say? Do i remember any city name here in taisho era. Ah-ha.'

"Well, I used to live in Asukasa,Tokyo ." Kenji replied.

"Used to? And that might explain your weird clothes." Shinobu said while looking at the clothes he was wearing. A t-shirt and jeans weren't well known at taisho era in Japan.

Kenji looked at his clothes and then looked at her clothes. 'Yeaaah, i definitely look odd compared to their fashion.'

"*Cough* let's continue. Well you see I met an demon before but I was saved by an demon slayer, so that's why I also wanted to become a demon slayer."

"You know Sato-kun meeting demon twice without any training and surviving. I don't know if you are lucky or unlucky." Shinobu said while looking at Kenji straight in the eyes.

'Definitely unlucky' Kenji thought but didn't spoke out loud.

They kept moving towards the butterfly estate. Shinobu asked Kenji many other questions including about his family. Which didn't go well as Kenji straight up replied.

"Lost them." Which was the truth as he had transferred to this world now he had lost them. He wouldn't be able to meet them ever again.

Shinobu hearing his reply got quite and stopped asking any other questions.

"Kocho-san can you explain the demon slayer corps to me." Kenji asked Shinobu which wasn't necessary as he knew everything from the anime but still asked to not be seen suspicious. Shinobu asked him if the slayer who saved him didn't told him.Well he did say that a demon slayer saved him but he also added the demon slayer didn't told him about corps in detail.
