10 The Killer's Spark

"Hello, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Ono Haruka, one of the sixteen counselors of the first high school, assigned as the supervisor of class 1-A and class 1-E. I will always ready in this school in case any of you feel like you would need some counseling in regard to your courses or even private matters."

A beautiful counselor with big boobs, that was what comes to the male students' mind when they saw her in the classroom.

Leon narrowed his eyes at Ono Haruka, she is one of the named characters. If so, then it's not weird if she had a bounty on her head. It also means she is included as the target of users.

She is not a simple counselor either. Leon had a vague recollection that she had a secret identity. It must be a terrorist or a spy.

Whether she is a spy from the authority or another school doesn't matter to Leon, as long as she is not a terrorist. Nevertheless, he made a note to be extra careful around her.

"For students that have an interest in counseling, it is available through the terminals and your privacy is guaranteed. So you don't have to worry and feel at ease. If you are not comfortable through the terminal, you can also visit me directly in the office." When she speaks, the professional smile never leaves her face. It seems to catch the attention of the male students, though some of them only focused their sight on Haruka's twin mountains, it gave students an illusion that they may pop up anytime.

After a long speech, Haruka sent some guides to the students' terminals. It contains a guide on the school facilities and guides how to register for their electives which made Leon started to sweat bullets.

He had no idea what to choose. There are some specialized magic courses that he has never seen or heard before. Everything is very unfamiliar to him, the guides didn't help either.

So he had no other choice but to ask Miyuki through the terminal.

After a couple of messages between the two of them, Leon finally find out her choices. Well, it's the only thing he could only ask her without sounding like an ignorant person. It would be weird for students aiming to be a magician to know nothing of these matters, at least it is impossible for him to be placed in class A so it will raise a doubt. Better safe than sorry.

In the end, Leon had no choice but to do the same as Miyuki.

"Students that have already finished their registration may leave the classroom," Haruka said after looking at the terminal.

Immediately, half of the students leave their seats and headed outside, while the rest stayed inside. Leon and Miyuki also still in the classroom.

Ten minutes later, the orientation is finally over, and there is already a group of students around Miyuki, one of them is somewhat familiar to Leon.

This guy with brown hair appeared in the show, but it was only for one or two episodes. Basically, he is a minor character. In the grand scheme of things, he doesn't really matter that much.

After texting Mizuki location with his mobile terminal, Leon walked towards Miyuki but stopped halfway.

He is not hungry today, so it may be a good time to visit the student council. He can meet up with Tatsuya and Mizuki later.

Leon gave Miyuki one last glance then heading out from the classroom.

After walking for 7 minutes, Leon finally arrived at the end of the hallway on the fourth floor, it is the student council room.

The door leading to the student council room is closed, but there is a speaker on the wall next to the door.

From the outside, Leon politely asking for entry through the speaker.

It didn't take long before Leon opened the door after received permission from the inside.

"Welcome, Leon-kun. Please come in," Mayumi gave a little wave from the opposite end of the table.

"You can sit anywhere you want." Mayumi smiled, "If you don't mind Bentos, the room has an automatic meal dispenser, we can talk while we eat."

Leon raised his eyebrow, 'Meal dispenser?!'

Now, this is starting to get weird, but considering this world is more advanced than his previous life then it's not that weird, maybe.

"It's okay, I'm not hungry, thanks for the offer though," Leon said as he sat in the closest seat to Mayumi because the table is quite big, so talking from such a distance is a little uncomfortable for Leon.

But Leon action raises a few eyebrows from the other resident in the room, they seem to find his seat choosing to be a little intimate considering there are many empty seats around him.

As for Mayumi, she is always happy.

Maybe that is her poker face. It's kinda hard to read her emotion that way.

Now that she mentions bento, Leon looks at the other three people on the seats in the opposite of him, they had a bento in front of them, so they must be in the middle of lunch.

Mayumi said, "Leon-kun, let me introduce you to the member of the student council..."

Leon recognizes all of them, they are the member of the student council. Rin is the long-haired woman and the loli with orange hair is Azusa, while the short-haired beauty is Watanabe Mari, the Chief of Public Morals Committee. He kinda heard her name mentioned at the entrance ceremony.

"Sorry for interrupting your lunch," Leon said, giving them an apologetic smile after they finished their introduction, he already knew them from the show yet seeing them in the flesh is more amazing.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." the one who answered him is Mari, there is no discomfort at all for being disturbed during the lunch break, maybe this is the fate of the student council and public morals committee, they are already getting used to it.

As if to regain her pace, Mayumi called out to him.

"I was really glad to meet you again, Leon-kun." her lips held a sweet smile and her eyes twinkled. Leon is convinced that other than him and Tatsuya, no one would be able to stand against this witch and ended up bewitched by her tricks.

Leon blinked, "...Okay." he has already expected something like this from Mayumi, so he is not surprised at all. It would be different if Miyuki was the one who says that while using Mayumi's expression, it would be shocking.

"...Is that it? you are meeting with a beauty like me, yet you don't seem to be that excited." Mayumi pursed her lips in a pout, while Mari and the other can only sigh at her antic.

Leon met Mayumi's playful gaze calmly.

"That's not true, I'm also happy to meet you again, Mayumi-senpai," Leon started to smile, "and it might be possible to make me excited if we continue what we were doing yesterday."

"Yesterday... this..." Mayumi's face flushed, she didn't expect this kind of answer from Leon so she was at a loss for words.

But at least she is way better than Mari who choked on a mouthful of meat.

The loli, Azusa had no idea what already transpired in the room, she is only focused on helping Mari to ease her cough.

Unlike the oblivious Azusa, the treasurer of the student council, Rin seems to sense something weird. She tilted her head slightly at her friends' reaction, it was quite unusual for them to be flustered.

They were usually the ones who always get to tease and prank other people, so Rin never saw this coming.

With mischief in her eyes, Rin shifted her gaze from Leon to Mayumi, then said, "Unlike the usual, it looked like you are getting teased by the freshman instead, Mayumi."

"Rin! that's not true. It's not like I always messing with underclassmen." Mayumi was as sullen as a six-year-old.

After a quick sip of water, Mari is getting better and they started to chats about the school problem concerning the discrimination towards the second-course students, Mari seems to be full of passion when they are talking about it.

In the end, she asked him the most important thing in their discussions.

"Leon-kun, I want you to become a member of the public morals committee," Serious expression can be seen on Mari's face.

"...Why me?" Leon asked.

"You are the first-course student, yet you don't discriminate against them and from what I heard, you even had a close relationship with some of the second-course students..."

"Ah, so you want me to open the bridge between them." Leon realized where she is going with this.

She wants him to be someone who can destroy the discrimination that has been here for who knows how long.

But it can't be denied that Mari is very serious and he can feel her passion when they are talking about it.

Leon impression of Mari also increased because of this. Even though she is also a bloom, she genuinely cares about the plight of weeds. Not only her words, but he can also see the determination in her eyes.

"Mayumi, you are going to invite Miyuki to the student council right, so it would only fair to have Leon in the public morals committee, besides..." the smile returned to Mari's lips, "It would be a waste of his abilities to join the student council."

Leon raised his eyebrows at this.

Joining the public morals committee may not be a bad thing for Leon, it will give him a reason to use something lethal in case some terrorists accidentally found themselves in his school.

He just hopes there will be named characters among them so he can farm some points to purchase the Hashirama Cells, it will give him free access to Mangekyou without worrying about the blindness anymore. Thinking about the future, Leon raised the corner of his lips, somewhat happy.
