2 Momma

There is darkness in life,

and there are lights,

and you are one of the lights,

the light of all the lights...

...

This was the same dense jungle of Hellwood city which he had always dreaded. Suddenly several flashes of a cheery childhood appeared in his head, as he often played with his mother and sister on this barren land. But whenever his ball crossed the land and went even an inch inside the jungle, he would never dare to fetch it himself.

It was always his mother who fearlessly, stepped inside the jungle and managed to fetch the ball within a few seconds, no matter in which direction it fell. Marc always believed that his mother had magical power to fetch the ball from the impenetrable forest, no matter where it fell.

His mother..... More and more tears streamed down his eyes as he inched further towards the jungle. "I am finally coming to meet you mother... the... the time has come dadda... I ... I don't think I cannot survive anymore. I tried my.. b.. best to protect my sister...."

The boy huffed and puffed as he remembered his mother's long dark hair and fair skin. Her soothing smile and her deep and soft voice which had always managed to make him feel at peace.

But one day almost 3 years back, while playing with him, with a smiling face she entered the jungle only to never return.

The tiny boy of six years kept screaming and howling crying for his mother who had gone to fetch the ball. His sister was only one year old then!

 "MOMMMMAAA!!!! MOMMAA!!! I don't need the ball... It is alright... please come back Mommaa!!!!!" The boy kept shouting and howling for a lot of time, but his mother did not return.

When the tiny boy, Marc returned home sprinting to inform his father, he received another bad news. His father had also gone missing. He could not spot him anywhere in the house and had no idea where to look for him.

"Uncle have you seen my dadda?" He rushed towards a neighbouring wooden house, knocking on the giant bamboo door.

Suddenly the door opened and an angry young man of about 30 years old, pretty giant and huge came out. He clearly looked annoyed as if have been abruptly woken up from sleep. " You!? Marc? What is it boy? Why did you wake up at this time? Don't you know this the time for my afternoon sleep!!"

"Uncle.... Dadda is missing and momma stepped in the jungle and has not returned." The tiny boy howled uncontrollably. "Please come with me. Please. We have to find them. It is getting dark."

"What nonsense is this? They must have left the town. Stupid couple! I knew something was always off about them since beginning. They did not love you at all boy, so they left you!" The man pushed the little boy backwards, making him fall on the ground. "Now don't you dare come back."

"Uncle!! Uncle!!" Marc stood up instantly and tried to knock on the door again. But his uncle did not open the door and the little boy himself kept searching for his parents all night in the house and then on the barren land. He went to several houses and perceived the fact, how nobody liked his parents. They all were scared of him too and never accepted his requests to help him in finding his parents.

Since that day, the boy had terrible nightmares of the jungle. Every night he would see his mother getting killed by a wild animal, while his father trying to save her and he too dying in process. These nightmares from past 3 years had turned Marc into a very coward man who was also now scared of dark. He was scared of insects, birds, the jungle and even wild dogs. 

But today, as if suddenly his worst fear had come true and out of no where a giant beast was standing outside his door ready to kill him. Now he had no other option but to turn away further and enter the dense woods so that his sister Amanda remains unharmed. He knew there was hardly any man in the entire Hellwood city who would help him, so the only way out was to enter the jungle and try to hide amongst the dense trees, away from the ferocious beast. He left his 4 year old sister Amanda behind and ran in the woods….. only to never return......
