6 Chapter 6| The Devil
There is a heavily guarded fortress in the outskirts of the kingdom, four individuals arrive to it and start to talk to eachother
"Murder them all"
the one at the front says, the other three nods, the three zooms into the fortress, swiftly killing all the guards, the other man commanding them walks into the fortress, infront of him is a statue, a large and old statue with moss, there was a hole for something. The man takes of his hood, he looked like he was around his 40's, he has a scruffy beard and hair put in a man bun, the man has a chiselled face and a defined nose, eyes are blood red and he doesnt have many wrinkles, only some grey hairs over his black hair, the man grabs something from his pocket, it was an object that looked like it could fit in the hole "With this i shall bring you back sire". The man places the object in the hole, the whole fortress starts to rumble, the other three stop killing and turn around, they bow down as a creature starts to emerge from the ground, and it isnt really good news for anyone, the monster has big teeth, razor sharp claws and looks like its around 100 feet tall, the fortress collapses killing the three others but leaving the man who helped him survive.
Nux completed the test rather quickly, it was done in around 1 minute and 15 seconds, he stands up and just walks to a wall and rests, the king was getting annoyed from nux's behaviour, Nux didn't care whatsoever. A knight rushes in, stumbling and then falling to the ground, the king walks to the knight "What are you doing here?!" he said in a mad tone "S-S-Sorry sire b-but, Erzith has awakened!" everyone was shocked except for Nux and Briggs, "Whats Erzith?" Briggs asks Melody "I-It's a demon that destroyed this city 500 years ago, it destroyes everything in its path and now its returned" Briggs was shooken "Should we go nux-" When Briggs looked back, Nux was already gone.
The demon is starting to make its way slowly to the kingdom, its teeth had acid dripping from it, the ground was making holes that sunk down a few feet and were still sinking. Nux appears under the beast, he sees the height, he doesnt care, he squats down and with all his strength he jumps up to the face of the demon, face to face "Hi" Nux stabs the demon on the face so he can stay there, the demon does not care and keeps on moving. Nux flings himself onto the beasts shoulder "You know what, im sorry to do this to you" He was saying into the monsters ear which was twice the size of Nux, Nux bet he could almost see his brain "Right now, i have to kill you here and now, so dont try and get revived again" Nux says, somehow nux knew he got revived "I'll deal with that one guy who revived you soon but for now..." Nux jumps off the beast "I'll just kill you" Nux with all his power punches the Demon, The demon didn't have a chance, it had a hole in its chest, Nux punched again this time destroying the Demons head, The demon fell down on the fortress, killing all the survivors "It was a good thing i had camera's around the city, you should always be catious!" Nux says, he knew the demon got revived from someone was because of the camera's, he was watching with his eyes closed. Nux turns around and walks off as the demon starts to turn to ash.
Nux returns to the arena in a blink of an eye, the king was confused on where nux went, all the mages were about to fight it, "Your welcome, i killed that thing for you" Nux said, The king was mad now, he didnt know that nux left and didnt want nux to defeat the demon. But nux did save his kingdom so the king is grateful, but he still does not like nux at the moment in time. Nux sighs "Well im going to sleep until everyone gets back, tell that guy i threw at a wall i said hi" Nux sits down and starts to sleep, the king is dumfounded, was nux just stupid or extremely cocky?
