1 The end and the beginning

For some assassins the end is only in death, but for me the end started with a test....

~5 years ago~

"Lily, what is taking you so long? We have to head out on our next mission." Mime yelled across our apartment.

Sitting in the bathroom Lily stared at the test like she was facing an army of one thousand soldiers. Two pink lines glared back. "I'm pregant she whispered."

Holding her tummy she knew what she had to do. The 'Lily of the valley' had to stop being an assassin of the Moon Ops. Instead of being the number one assassin she'd have to become a mother. Leaving the bathroom she patted Mime shoulder, "I can't go Mime, I need to go talk with commander Yu Li. Remember all shadows eventually fade."

~Yu Li office~

Kneeling Lily, cried softly explaining why she could no longer be an assassin, her shadow days over.

"Lily, stand. I'm not angry if anything I'm glad my best friend will be a mother." Hugging her tight Yu Li wondered when her friend broke the number one rule of Moon Ops. No children. After all shadow fade with too much attention. "Can I ask when this happened?"

"It happened during my last mission 2 months ago when I was sent to kill CEO Vincent..... I couldn't kill him." Lily cried harder "I never meant to fall in love. Granted I was nothing but a pawn to him"

"Lily it will be okay. Stand instead of being an assassin, I think I've another assignment for you."
