51 Fun times with Marines (II)

Sacrilege! Trying to spoil my fun?! How dare you?!?!

I used my transformed state, the bat cloud, to fly over them which made them flinch because of all the flapping of the bats.

After they realised it was just some bats, they continued arguing fervently.

"Son, I know you got scared, but we are men! We don't flinch from nothing! Especially not an old man that." I can see the rage in his face.

"DAD, you can't go after that old monster! I have seen him transform! It was monstrous. Furthermore, he is planning something. He will kill us all! And if that happens, it will be your fault. Do you want to bear that responsibility? Over your son and your friends?" the little boy screamed at the burly man, trying to get some sense in his mind.

Contrary to his words before, he flinched back at mere words and a thoughtful expression appeared on his face.

I already had hopes he would do something with thought, but I was wrong.

"So what! I will just tear him apart with my fists. He can't be that strong. From what I saw in the distance earlier, he shouldn't be able to withstand even one punch of mine."

I facepalmed myself... well theoretically. However, there were two thoughts that came to my mind.

'That boy's intelligence certainly comes from his mother's side!'

'Oh yes! New pranks are filling my mind...'

I retreated and didn't continue listening. Instead, I landed some hundred metres distanced from the arguing group and transformed back to my old form.

'Let's see what's in my inventory!'

'Hmm... nothing... WHAT?!'

Alright whatever, I will just have to fill it at some point.

[Dimensional Rift - Elder of the Vampires]

Out of the swirling energy, a strapped-up man appeared. A dark red cape draped around his shoulders. The blood red eyes flashing in recognition and yet confusion. A red hue appeared on the porcelain white skin because of excitement.

"HAIL KISHTAN!" he immediately screamed as soon as he saw all of the awesome me!

Out of reflex I jumped back in a jump scare and started shushing him in an imposing manner that made him back down.

"SHUUUSHH you fucking imbecile!!!"

"I am trying to scare someone's shit out of them and you, what are you doing?! Have you stayed a complete retard in the thousand years of your reign in your Bloody Hell?"

I started to slightly snicker because the vampire elder looked like he would soon start to cry!

"Give me your cape, now!" About now, I would imagine some real big drops of bloody water to wash down his face. HAH, what a victim."

He handed it over to me with some hesitation, but he couldn't really disobey the orders of the patriarch, right?

[Dimensional Rift - Return]

With a push, he flew back through the portal, his eyes wide open in amazement at the cruelness of the world.

Meanwhile, I put on the cape and clapped up the collar to have a cone around my head. Just like good old Dracula had. If the myths are to be believed...

'I just realised, the balance of the worlds was a bit unfair... oh well, that should be easy to fix though, not? Well, you will see just now, I will add it to my crash course in the new world for these brutes.'

Let's go!

Cape on and the scene is good to go.

I took some steps forward and stumbled over the too long cape. After all, humans were smaller than vampires, especially the older type.

I have to take some time practicing...

Ten minutes later I closed in on the group of unsuspecting mortals.

Sneaking behind the father of the kid, I build up the air in my lungs, and let out a scream that is tainted with my [Intimidating aura]:

"Buh...?"

'Ha ha that should be a lesson for you guys to not turn your backs to the dark!'

In that moment, I received a punch from exactly that man who I wanted to scare shitless.

'What an embarrassment... stupid guy. You will receive payback more times that you can count.' Dark thoughts clouded my mind while I held my head to stop it from spinning.

"What a little bitch! Who do you think you are to try sneak on me, HUH?!" With a red face, he looked at me, totally not aggressive or anyone who needed a psychiatrist, at all!"

'Did that monkey just call me a bitch? DID HE?'

"One point you monkey from another dimension, don't call me bitch or I will make you mine!"

As soon as I had said that, he let loose a barrage of punches. His friends gloating at me, wishing me even more 'fun times' with their friend. But mostly they were just happy that it wasn't them who was at the receiving end of the punches.

When the punches fell on me, some of the dust that had been gathering on me from the short walk in the bushes dropped.

What happened next could only be explained as an overwhelming victory.

Like a booger, I clipped him away with one finger.

'Hah, no chance you noob!'

I continued dusting off my robe and looked up, only to see the shock of the others, gazing at me.

"What? Did you expect me to not do anything at all while I would just gather some punches as if I would sell them later on?"

With a frown I looked over to the crushed man. His son was sitting near him, holding him in his hands and bandaging his wounds. I walked over slowly, a smile on my face.

I held a hand down to the fallen man, whilst saying: "At least you have the courage to challenge the unknown. I know some that are simply cowards."

He glinted his eyes and looked at me as if to gauge what I meant seriously and what not.

The result of the examination was apparently good, since he took my hand and squeezed it hard, trying to hurt me or just to give me a handshake, I don't know. After all, he was the burly man with the bulging muscles on his arms, while I was the frail old man.

With an interesting glint in my eyes, I asked them all two questions:

"First of all, are the rest of you as brave as that one, or are the rest of you cowards?"

Stunned silence filled the clearing.

Before they could burst in outrage, I asked the second one.

"Have you ever had the dream of becoming vampire or demon hunters?"
