2 Library of Heaven's Path Chapter 1 to 10

Zhang Xuan (ZX) was actually not from this world and was just possessing body of a teacher from this world. In his actual world he was an librarian in an high school. He remembered the blazing flames from his last life only and then he was here which is a totally new world, maybe its transmigration of soul. This world is martial arts world and strong reign supreme here. He had high hopes but he got the body of most pathetic teacher in entire academy. Actually Zhang Xuan (MC of this novel) is given last chance to find himself a student by principal of academy or he will be fired.

All other teachers classes are overflowing with students but he doesn't have a single one. So he tried roping in some, but due to his methods he got labeled as a swindler instead. The reason for this is that the actual owner of this body was weakest teacher in academy who was inept in picking students. He even taught one of the student wrong to such extent that his cultivation went berserk. He even received first ever zero score in Teacher's Qualification Exam last year. It was first case in entire history of academy. He was depressed and over drank alcohol and somehow ended up dead allowing Zhang Xuan to take over his body.

Today he has attempted to rope in 17 students but he failed every time due to bad reputation of original owner of this body. Suddenly a lady arrived who was asking from him for direction towards Lu Xun, who was most famous teacher of academy. Zhang Xuan eyes brightened as he decided to rope in this girl for himself instead. He started using wise words to persuade her that both teacher and students should be compatible like shoes for feet. She shouldn't blindly go for Lu Xun just because he is famous, as if his techniques are not compatible with her then she will end up ruining herself. Lady was simple and was impressed by these words of trickery. She asked for Zhang Xuan to choose a teacher for her. He asked the lady to display her cultivation first. She was a talented lady so a gust of wind generated from her punch. ZX praised her. Just like fortune tellers of modern world he was using slippery words to appear like a wise sage. He made a mistake suddenly by mentioning that her legs are strong. Lady immediately pointed out that her legs are injured and almost crippled, then how can they be strong? ZX still remained thick skinned and told her that he know about that but only after destruction could be rebirth. He claimed that its rare opportunity for her and her legs will become her greatest strength in future. Simple lady didn't understood the trick of this man and her eyes showed glint of hope. Earlier she always felt inferior to others due to her legs which resulted in her low self-esteem. ZX continued flattery towards her and even said that she can reign supreme among freshmen in academy. Then he suggested that there are only three teachers compatible for her. First one is him, and other two are not accepting anymore students as they are full already. Lady's hopes dimmed on hearing this but suddenly she asked Zhang Xuan whether he is accepting students or not. ZX replied yes but he is indifferent towards fame and fortune and choose only superior jades. Lady kowtowed and started begging for taking her as his student now as she was thoroughly impressed by this man somehow. ZX continued his acting and said that fate has brought them together so he can consider this but he prefers to pass his time quietly. Lady understood and promised not to disturb ZX unless its emergency and that she will just keep cultivating diligently.

Now ZX revealed main point that he doesn't have many students so resources for cultivation issued by academy with him are not comparable to other teachers. And she may even be criticized by others in future. Hearing this lady got hesitant now as resources are most important for growth of students. ZX noticed this and coughed and told her that he was just testing her. Then he immediately threw token towards her. She was still thinking if she should accept him as teacher or not but ZX immediately grabbed her hand and used a sharp dagger to cut a small wound on her finger and the dripping blood dropped on the token confirming their relationship as master disciple. The girl was dumbfounded too and suspected that something is fishy. ZX asked for her name and she replied 'Wang Ying' respectfully because it's not easy to revoke her decision now. ZX guided her that she can collect her bedding and books using this token and can even find herself a lodging in academy.

ZX was very happy in his heart for his success in coaxing one student. The previous owner of body died with regrets of his inability to bring in students. This first student enrolled by ZX helped in calming that regret and now he has gained full control over this body. ZX decided to coax more students but suddenly he felt a tremor in his head and started listening profound phrases of ancient times. A massive palace appeared in his head. Above its entrance was a plaque with four words, "Library of Heaven's Path". ZX walked in through door and was astonished on seeing the massive space inside the palace. He can't even see the other ends of the palace. There were countless books on enormous shelves. He thought that is this some kind of gift for his transcending as he was an librarian in past so he is given library in this world too??? He has read many wuxia novels in his past life so he was disappointed to have this library as others use to receive systems, old grandpas, or overpowered tools. He tried grabbing a book but his hands passed through them as if he is touching air. He was further disappointed now as what is the use of library if he can't read books in them? He wanted to cry but tears didn't rolled out.

ZX lost interest in this library. He decided to eat lunch first before coaxing more students. He was feeling that his rate of acquiring students is way too low as he has transcended from digital age and he can't even dupe those students from ancient age. While ZX was enjoying his meal someone disturbed him by calling his name. He was Cao Xiong another teacher of academy as recognized by ZX. He had entered the academy at same time with original owner of ZX's body. He loved to compare his achievements with others and inflate his ego through this. This guy has huge role in making original ZX die to death by drinking alcohol due to insults of this guy. He bragged and showed ZX his newly recruited 12 students. Students gazed towards ZX in curiosity so Cao Xiong introduced them, saying that ZX is a celebrity of their academy. He's the one who scored zero in Teacher's Qualification Examination and thus created a history. Many students have heard rumors about this teacher they started discussing about him and remembered how he has made one of his students berserk through his teachings. However ZX remained calm and composed as he was not emotionally weak like original Zhang Xuan. He simply replied him to scram if he is done with his introduction and let him enjoy his meal in peace. Cao Xiong didn't expected this and he resumed saying that ZX should be ashamed of scoring zero. But he said that what's there to be ashamed. He has broken a record instead and is famous in whole academy unlike Cao Xiong. And then he asked him instead whether his students even know Cao Xiong's scores or heard his name? Despite Cao Xiong being a figure who is not known by his own students how can he brag before him who is famous in whole academy already?? Everybody was surprised at shamelessness of Zhang Xuan.

Cao Xiong not finding any way to scold ZX after seeing his shamelessness challenged him to check each other student's skill through sparring later when he can find a student. Cao Xiong was about to exit canteen after declaring this but suddenly a conversation of an old man and a young lady entered his ears. Young lady was trying to persuade old man that his teacher is not as bad as he is claiming. Old man was persuading young lady to go for Lu Xun if she want a nice teacher instead of the one she has chosen. He was addressing young lady as young mistress and was persuading her that she should not choose Zhang Xuan. The lady was Wang Ying. He told every past deed of Zhang Xuan to her like his scoring zero, making a student's cultivation berserk etc. etc. Wang Ying's fell into dilemma. Cao Xiong understood this situation immediately and looked towards Zhang Xuan who was still eating in relaxed manners and mocked him that his only student is about to withdraw from his tutelage. Old man came forward and told Zhang Xuan that Wang Ying desires to withdraw from his tutelage. Zhang Xuan still acted tough and lectured Wang Ying that so many students want to make him teacher yet he doesn't take in any, its once in a lifetime chance to become his student. Other students who knew about Zhang Xuan were now even more surprised by the shameless words of this man. However under effects of lecture of ZX, Wang Ying showed hesitation in withdrawing but Uncle Liu (old man) interrupted her and again urged ZX that the young mistress of his clan wants to withdraw from his tutelage immediately. ZX started lecturing about the disadvantages for a student after withdrawing from someone's tutelage. Wang Ying won't find new teachers easily once she withdraws him as it is considered as bad track record for a student. Old Liu was now hesitant too as he was just a butler in the family of Wang Ying. Seeing this ZX persuaded old liu that he will take good care of Wang Ying so he shouldn't worry. But before Old Liu replied Cao Xiong interrupted him and expressed his desire to take in Wang Ying after noticing her talents. ZX retorted him accusing him for poaching his students and that he will complain to Education Bureau. Cao Xiong tried to correct his crime by making it a challenge instead now. Both of them will provide pointers to each other's students in front of Wang Ying and then allow her to choose the teacher herself whomsoever she considers better. He dared ZX to accept this challenge.

ZX was hesitant in accepting the challenge. Although he inherited memories of original Zhang Xuan but still he hasn't got enough time to organize those memories. He can barely sense the cultivation realms of students only. Even original Zhang Xuan should not be able to provide pointers to a student, let alone him. Cao Xiong was happy by watching the facial expressions of ZX and told him that it won't be considered as poaching student if he refuses to take on this challenge from him. ZX has no way out and refused to give up without trying so he decided to go with challenge. They have to offer pointers on the flaws in execution after the new students show them their punching routines. ZX will give pointer to one of the Cao Xiong's student and Cao Xiong will be giving pointers to ZX's only student Wang Ying. Then after listening to their pointers those students will re-execute their punching routines and whichever student from both ZX and Cao Xiong shows more improvement will be considered winner of the challenge. Even if ZX lost he was thick skinned, he won't mind or feel depressed at all by losing one student. Hearing this lot of crowd got attracted. Cao Xiong was even more motivated by seeing crowd as he can brag more now as he was confident in his victory over a nobody like ZX.

Wang Ying was called out by Cao Xiong and she executed her punching routine. ZX was surprised as he can't discern any flaws even by using memories of original Zhang Xuan. No wonder why he scored zero in exams, his eye of discernment was way too weak. Then Cao Xiong pointed Wang Ying towards a rock pillar and executed her punch over there. She did so and rock showed that her punch carried a weight of 53 kg. Cao Xiong praised her and gave her pointers to improve this strength and he has also seen through leg injury of Wang Ying which ZX earlier failed to notice. After receiving pointers she re-executed her punch and this time the rock showed a might of 63 kg which was a decent improvement. Then Cao Xiong called for ZX reminding him that its his turn. A student of Cao Xiong stepped forward to be guided by ZX. But ZX needed time to think for a solution to escape from this situation, so he pointed out a flaw in this challenge. He will be losing a student of his if he lost this bet. However what will he gain if he wins the bet? So this is an unfair challenge. Cao Xiong was tongue tied by this as it was indeed an unfair challenge and even seemed like fraud after getting pointed out by other party openly in front of so much crowd. He then declared that if ZX wins then he can have Liu Yang as his student which is currently recruited by Cao Xiong. He was the student who earlier stepped forward for executing his punching routine for this challenge too. Liu Yang showed worried looks on thought of becoming a student of zero scoring marks teacher but Cao Xiong convinced him that he is sure of his victory against ZX. Hearing this he executed his move. ZX was dumbfounded not knowing any flaw from Liu Yang's technique. He was sweating now but suddenly his brain felt a tremor which came from Library of Heaven's Path. A book formed there automatically. ZX checked the book and cover of the book was labeled 'Liu Yang'. It was holding lots of details like he originated from Liu Family from Xiayun City. His realm was shown at 'Fighter 1-dan Juxi realm' and that he is a student of 'Hongtian Academy'. Even his cultivation technique was mentioned as 'Lotus Acupoint Breakthrough Might'. Following it was his Battle Techniques which included Soaring Flower Fists at Minor Accomplishment level and Dragon Inch Fist at Major Accomplishment levels. Then below that were all flaws in his battle techniques and cultivation and some general flaws too. ZX was stunned and now thought that this gift package of being a transcender is impressive instead. By the time ZX knew about this secret Liu Yang was finished with his punch and pillar showed a might of 62 kg. Cao Xiong with mocking expression urged ZX to provide his student some pointers now. Liu Yang requested him to guide about his flaws too.

Wang Ying was also blinking her eyes in curiosity to see the expertise of her teacher. Although ZX wasn't sure if what the book has compiled is true or not but he has no other way to discern flaws of Liu Yang so he mentioned that there are 12 flaws in his technique reading from the book of his library. Everybody started mocking him as this was a common skill and a basic one too thus has gone through refining from 1000s of years. Although it is not perfect but shouldn't have 12 flaws which are too many. Some people even called it 'Flawless Fists'. They felt ZX is in mood of joking around. But Cao Xiong still told him to enlighten them and point out those flaws. But ZX didn't exposed them openly and just gave the pointers to Liu Yang after going through those 12 flaws again and using his brains to correct them himself. His explanation seemed funny to everybody as he suggested Liu Yang to change his hand and use left hand instead of right one which should normally be disadvantageous for a righty. Generally left hand is weaker than right one also. ZX corrected few more flaws for Liu Yang. Cao Xiong felt happy as he thought that victory is at his doors now he urged Liu Yang to execute his fist again as per the directions of ZX. He believed that this time Liu Yang's fist can't generate a might more than 30 kg. Even Liu Yang didn't have much hopes with ZX pointers as he knew that he is a righty and never used left hand in past. ZX himself got nervous by hearing the mocking comments of everybody and even Liu Yang doesn't seem confident in his pointers now. If he lost his last student Wang Ying he will be expelled from school. Cao Xiong executed his punch and pillar showed 3 digits..... right 3 digits....123 kg. It's an 100 percent improvement instead of puny 20 percent improvement in case of Cao Xiong. Even the first rank Teacher in academy can't provide this much improvement by just providing pointers on the spot as done by Zhang Xuan. Liu Yang can't believe that it's his punch. ZX was enjoying this moment. He has confirmed that the book generated in library told everything truth. Now ZX took the opportunity and mocked Cao Xiong showing him the difference in percentage of improvement by the pointers in their students. Cao Xiong's face was pale and he took out the jade token and dropped his blood drop on it to revoke status of Liu Yang as his student. He ordered Liu Yang to acknowledge ZX as his teacher instead now. Then he turned towards ZX and told him not be proud of this achievement as this time he got lucky. But next time he will make sure to ruin reputation of ZX. This time he lost reputation, lost a student and was humiliated. Then he left with angry expression. It was not bad if he has lost to any other teacher but he lost to a teacher who has scored zero in Teachers Qualification Exam. It's a stigma on his career.

Liu Yang also believed that it's just luck that he executed such a mighty punch so he called for Cao Xiong to stop and take him away. But ZX told him to bring out his identity card as he is his student now. He didn't cared what his student thinks about him. Ceremony was conducted and he was ordered to come at classroom tomorrow by ZX. He said same to Wang Ying. He returned to his lecture hall and studied Library of Heaven's Path and understood a thing or two about it. He felt hopeful that he won't be scoring zero anymore in Teachers Qualification Exams.

ZX's feat of defeating Cao Xiao was spread across the whole academy now. Someone claimed that even Lu Xun academy's top teacher can't increase the performance of his student by one fold as done by ZX. Zhao Ya heard this and didn't believed in such nonsense. She is daughter of City Lord of Baiyu City which is third largest in Tianxuan Kingdom. She is in Hongtian Academy to become student of Lu Xun's student. And before she can find Lu Xun she is hearing that he is inferior to someone named as ZX. She has heard about ZX's deeds of getting zero marks too so she suspected that he may have just got lucky. So she decided to unmask his facade. She took two more students with her who were praising ZX and didn't believe that this was just luck to expose ZX's facade in front of them. They found the ZX's classroom and entered it and saw a young man foolishly smiling to himself who was actually having a look at his library of heaven's path. Zhao Ya said that they have heard ZX defeating Cao Xiao and improving a student by one fold just by providing him few pointers, so she asked him to provide her pointers too so that she can experience it for herself. She was showing expressions which clearly indicated her disbelief in these claims. But ZX flatly declined her request saying that he's not free seeing the attitude of this girl. ZX once also called her as arrogant little girl. She felt embarrassed as she was here to expose facade of ZX but getting chased away even without checking her talents or abilities humiliated her instead in front of her two friends.

Then suppressing her anger she asked ZX that how can she make ZX provide her pointers. ZX told her to acknowledge him as teacher. Zhao Ya agreed but warned that if ZX taught her erroneously then she will expose his lies right away. The two friends of her were surprised at this and stopped her from taking rash decision as she won't be able to take Lu Xun as her teacher after this. She hesitated. ZX on noticing her hesitation told her to leave immediately and don't waste his time if she is not here to become his student. He doesn't have time as he is recruiting new students. Hearing taunting comment of ZX she forgot her hesitation and exploded and told him that she is ready to accept him as teacher. But ZX took a U-turn now and said that he is not interested now as her attitude is very bad. Now she was thinking that this guy is trying to chase her away intentionally because it will expose his fraud when his pointers are unable to show improvement in her like in case of Liu Yang. She rectified and requested again politely showing her interest in becoming student of ZX. ZX approved of her attitude this time but he still gave her more petty task like cleaning toilet and classroom before taking her as his student if he is satisfied with her work. She was boiling in anger as she was city lord. How can she do tasks like cleaning toilets? ZX noticed her hesitation and told her to go away as he doesn't need useless and lazy students. He was laughing in his heart seeing the inexperience of this girl who wanted to play with a man like him who is from digital age and much more experienced in such tricks. The two girls accompanying Zhao Ya knew about her temper so seeing the situation getting out of their hands they decided to inform butler Yao about all this. They immediately rushed out of academy to locate this butler Yao. Zhao Ya started her chores and cleaned everything. ZX was satisfied and Finally both of them acknowledged each other as teacher and student. She immediately expressed her desire to receive pointers from ZX laoshi. ZX ordered her to execute a fighting technique to him. She nodded and executed her punch. A new Book formed in Library as expected and now ZX knew lots of stuff about this girl like that she is daughter of city lord and all her cultivation and battle techniques along with its 27 flaws. She threw a punch towards classroom's rock pillar too which informed her punch's weight to be 110 kg. ZX praised her but she was in hurry to receive pointers so she was not feeling flattered. She even brought out a recording crystal to record the happenings here and then expose ZX's fraud to everybody. She suddenly realized that ZX is standing very close to her. She was startled. ZX said that he was just taking a look and then told her that she is sick. Zhao Ya went crazy and cursed ZX that he is sick and his entire family is sick instead. ZX was startled by sudden eruption of this little girl. At that moment ZX explained illness to her as reported by system. On the night of a full moon, when the cold wind blows, her body would turn weird. A strong desire would surge through her body as it turned red. Unable to suppress her raging emotions, she craved for the embrace of a man.

Even Zhao Ya was shocked to see that ZX is capable of knowing even such minute details about her just by watching her technique. Even her best friends and father are not aware about this problem of her. And she came to this academy mainly in hope to find the crux of this problem and then solve it. She asked immediately about solution to her problem from ZX with glint of hope shining in her eyes. But ZX told her to come tomorrow in classroom for the explanation about solution to this problem. ZX also pointed out about the existence of Record Crystal in Zhao Ya's sleeves. She felt embarrassed and ashamed about her selfish deeds and destroyed the crystal immediately. Now ZX image in heart has evolved from a swindler to one of the top experts of the world. ZX told her to use her token to receive books and bedding. Suddenly Butler Yao Han barged in calling her Young mistress and bowed before her. He carried a ferocious aura and ZX can see that he is not a weakling. Zhao Ya was surprised to see him and asked for the reason of his visit. He was fuming with anger after knowing that ZX has made her young mistress clean toilets. Zhao Ya understood the reason on her own and told him that she has already acknowledge Zhang laoshi as her teacher. Yao Han's anger erupted and he coldly ordered ZX to withdraw Zhao Ya from his tutelage right now. He even blamed him that he has bewitched their underage young lady. He further threatened to report it to principal and have him fired. Zhao Ya stomped her feet and expressed her anger towards action of Yao Han and told her that she joined the tutelage of Zhang laoshi of her own free will and that he is accusing his teacher wrongly. Yao Han was still suspicious of ZX and shot his fiery aura towards him.

ZX knew that it was natural for someone to doubt him but the only proof of his innocence, the Record Crystal was shattered just before Yao Han barged in. But again Zhao Ya interrupted and scolded him and he was forced to withdraw his aura. She can't expose her secret problems and ZX won't do so as well as she is her student now, so both of them can't explain the situation to this stubborn butler. Zhao Ya and butler made their exit but Yao Han glanced coldly at ZX with murderous intent. ZX was helpless on this situation as he was truly innocent. But main problem for him is still recruiting more students. He can obtain more resources for his own growth as well as for his students from academy with more students.

Two youths were walking on pavement in academy. Zheng Yang was just rejected by a teacher Wang Chao so he was disappointed. Mo Xiao his friend was accepted however so he was trying to console Zheng Yang that there are still more teacher in academy. But problem is that he wanted a teacher in the way of spear and Wang Chao was best teacher in academy for that. Mo Xiao's vision fell towards ZX's classroom and he persuaded Zheng Yang to try a new teacher at least. ZX was about to move out to seek students but suddenly two youths entered his room on their own. His eyes brightened. But the eyes of two youths dimmed on watching the small size of classroom as size of classroom represented the status of the teacher. ZX was oblivious to their thoughts so he simply considered them as students that are seeking teacher and thus told them to execute their spear arts. Mo Xiao suggested Zheng Yang that since they have arrived here then there's no loss in seeking guidance from this teacher. If his standard is really bad then he can simply refuse to acknowledge him as teacher. He charged towards Rock pillar and it showed a power of 110 kg in strike of Zheng Yang. He asked for pointers from ZX after showing his prowess with spear. ZX revealed that Zheng Yang is emotionally wounded and expressed that he must have been dumped by someone. Zheng Yang nodded in agreement but what has this to do with teacher, he was confused. Moreover even Mo Xiao wasn't aware about this how come this teacher in front of him know about his private affairs? Mo Xiao showed his surprise but Zheng Yang told him that he will tell him later and asked ZX that what has this to do with his spear training? ZX retorted him that his every problem is rooted within this affair only. Way of spear is charging ahead without concerning themselves with minor things. But Zheng Yang's spear has hesitation and fear which generated from the rejection from her crush which ultimately has reduced strength in his spear attacks. Zheng Yang was impressed by these pointers. Earlier even Wang Chao laoshi wasn't able to discern this much from his techniques execution. Mo Xiao dropped his jaws too as he felt that eye of discernment of this teacher is really fearsome. He executed his spear move too as he felt that he should be better than Zheng Yang. ZX told him that he has a weak stomach and should be suffering from diarrhea today. He was shocked again by this. Then ZX didn't guided them any further and told them to acknowledge him as teacher first. Zheng Yang immediately agreed and ZX commenced the ceremony and issued him a jade token. ZX used a phrase used in modern world for encouragement which was naturally unheard by Zheng Yang so he was thoroughly impressed by it and forget all the depressions in his heart. ZX told him to execute his technique again and this time rock pillar showed a might of 235 kg in his spear which is more than a one-fold improvement. He thanked ZX from bottom of his heart and kowtowed. Mo Xiao was regretting his decision as his teacher Wang Chao improved him by only 30 percent after giving him pointers. As soon as he entered he heard a sarcastic comment towards him claiming him to be star teacher (hidden meaning trash teacher). The voice came from a fatty Qian Biao. He was a spiteful man who feasted on the spare change of others. But ZX salary is lowest so he never respected him. ZX didn't bothered with him and just demanded more identity tokens as he has used up all. Qian Biao again mocked him and said this comment to be the funniest joke he has ever heard in his life. He even gathered crowd to humiliate ZX further. ZX got an idea and offered Qian Biao to bet on his claim of using up four tokens already. Qian Biao mocked him that ZX has nothing to offer for bet that can be eye catching for him. But he proposed the bet for face slapping. If he hasn't used up his four tokens then Qian Biao can slap him three times and if he has used up his tokens then he will be slapping Qian Biao thrice. Crowd encouraged Qian Biao to accept bet as they were confident that ZX should be lying as he is not capable of recruiting four students. He agreed. Then ZX looked towards three others who were mocking him too with Qian Biao and asked similar bets from them too and they agreed too. They immediately asked ZX to show his four students to them. ZX told them that there's no need to call them. The personal information of students is automatically generated in Education Bureau and thus they should have ways to verify it easily. Qian Biao told Li Yuan (one of the teacher who mocked ZX) to go and verify same from Education bureau. Both Logistics Department and Education Bureau were under Administration Branch so their buildings were close it didn't took much time for Li Yuan to return with a darkened face. He told that what ZX said is truth and handed over name list to Qian Biao. Now he was thinking that ZX must have admitted trashiest students. He checked each and every student. He never heard of Wang Ying so he snorted in disdain. But when he continued reading he found that she is young mistress of Wang family which is one of the four great families in entire Tianxuan City and got 67th rank in entrance exams. Then he was shocked to read second name of Zhao Ya who ranked 7th in entrance exam and is the daughter of City Lord of Baiyu City.
