Chapter*One

My name is Kani Cooper (Pronounced Konie)and I'm 16 years old.

I go to a High school called New Hampshire High. This school is just plain stupid. The teenagers here are very wild and very unlikely to get into a good school ,but that's probably the least of their worries.

Today I start my first week of being a sophomore. My best friend Aaron and I are extremely obsessed with school subjects like math and science. Aaron is very different from me. He likes going to party's, he likes going to clubs under aged, he likes under aged drinking , and he likes flirting with a bunch of girls and it's not like he gets any of their numbers anyway.

Unlike me, I actually like studying and getting good grades, and staying up late to study.

Pretty boring?

I think not.

Education is important.

Go to school kids.

Anyway we're off topic let me tell you about my first day.

Earlier Today

The sun is dimmed, the birds are awake from their nightly slumber-and my pants ripped. I quickly find a new pair and put them on they are...quite tight and very uncomfortable. I put my hair in a messy bun and head straight through my bedroom door.

"Dear, me and your father are going out of town next week for a business trip." My mom says while she opens the cabinet.

"Wait so I'll be alone for two whole weeks?". My inner self was having a inner dance party.

I have never been home alone in years. I have ALWAYS been babysat by my grandmother and her boyfriend.

It's so gross and weird to watch them kiss or hug.

It's just disturbing.

The bus pulls in front of my house I rush out the door in panic with a piece of toast in my mouth.

"What am I going to do with that girl?" I hear my mom say before sprinting out the house.

I walk into the school and it seems that all eyes are on me? Do I look that ugly? No need to make it obvious people.

"Hey hey! How's my favorite weirdo?"

"Nice to see you too Aaron."

"So, I heard there's a new hottie at school he's from England and he's totally your type!" Aaron says excitedly.

I close my locker shut and turn to face Aaron."Sorry, but I'm not looking for guys right now, and you know that Aaron."

I start walking down the hall. Aaron follows beside me."Come on Kani! When was the last time you dated a guy?"I say nothing and walk faster.

"Exactly! Never!"

"Aaron are you pointing out how single I am or are you trying to get me to talk to a guy? Cause' I can't tell." I turn to my classroom door and walk in.

"What do I have to do to get you to open up?" He whines to me.

"Nothing? I dunno."

"Kani why are you so complicated!"

"All righty class! We've done this before. So let's just welcome our new student! Jason!"

A tall dark man with curly black hair walks into the classroom. All the girls start to squeal in awe.

"Hey, everyone my name is Jason Onning, it's a pleasure to meet you all."

Whoa!
