1 Prologue

"Leo please don't go, don't leave me like this, I won't be able to live if you do, I love you so much my heart can't take it if you leave... " She held on to his sleeves, not letting go, sniffling and holding his arm.

"Am sorry Ivie, but I have to leave, I don't know when am coming back and am sorry for not telling you, I just didn't want to hurt you, am sorry, baby"...

Leo looked at her beautiful face now sticky with tears, her nose now red from sniffling and rubbing, he couldn't bear to see her cry but he had to leave, it's important to leave.

They were standing at the departure terminal unable to let go of each other, he touched her face and caressed it gently, he loved her, but he dreaded the future, she lost her entire family today and he was leaving her right after, he cursed himself for being so heartless, this was the time she needed him the most, and he won't be there for her, he was falling apart.

" Leo, just stay, please I need you, I can't do this alone, I can't live without you, please.... " Ah a part of him never wanted to leave her, but it was for the best, to protect her, he needed to go far away.

"Am sorry, Ivie... " He detached himself from her grip, and started walking ahead, she was sobbing loudly, she dropped on the floor and covered her mouth with her hands and was crying, 'please don't.. ' He walked without turning back straight in to the plane. The woman who was on the floor got up slowly and watched as the plane took off, she stared sadly as the plane took off, it hurt.

She then turned an walked slowly towards her car, she didn't feel like driving, she then got out, removed her shoes and walked barefooted. The pain she felt was overwhelming, she lost everything in one single day, it all happened so fast. She was at the funeral today, she came to bid farewell today to the man she loves, everything just vanished, her heart was shattered, it hurt!

Walking the streets alone, bare feet, with tears in her eyes, she had no destination but she knew, this will be the last time she will shade tears like this, it will never happen again! She only had today to vent out everything before reality shows up, she knew.
