Near death

I ran up the stairs, taking two or three steps at a time, and hoped that the culprit was still in the school. I took a deep breath and said," It's okay, you can do it. If you don't, your Uncle will probably kill and shred you into a hundred million pieces."

Staring down of the school building, I somehow felt that the view from up here was actually really nice. While admiring and accessing the area at the same time, someone from behind of me said," What are you doing? If you want to commit suicide, then just do it. Don't keep stalling and talking to yourself. It disturbs my sleep and also creeps me out." Startled, I turned my head and saw him.

What is with this guy? Clearly he was the one being creepy. "Ashton, am I right? I am not trying to die and obviously, you are the weird and annoying one. Don't meddle in other people's business. Now, scram." I scowled and made the 'shoo' sign at him.

"Huh? Are you asking me to go away? Sorry, but not today. I came here first." Ashton said in a domineering voice. Once again, I rolled my eyes and ignored him.

" Tell me what you are doing and I will go." Ashton wanted to negotiate with me. He was coming closer and closer, until I could feel his breath. My blood started heating up, maybe because of Embarrassment or anger, I don't know.

I pushed him but he did not budge. Instead, the force I had inflicted on him came back to me. I tripped on my bag, which was placed behind of me, and almost fell down the building. Almost.

The only thing preventing me from free falling was a strong hand. Ashton. I heaved a sigh of relief and kicked Ashton in the shins. He didn't react. What does it take to irritate him?!

I huffed and walked away briskly, making sure I had my bag with me.
