2 Chapter 2: Memories

Roach fell unconscious and the girl caught his body.

The girl just looks at him with a shocked expression. After a second, her expression turned into a confused one.

"Get off!" The girl said as she pushes away his body. She looked down and she found that she pissed herself.

"He is scary." The girl murmured. Now she felt strangely brave even though she was afraid earlier that she wet herself because that the boy in front of her is unconscious and didn't exude the aura he had earlier. She stood up but her legs are still trembling.

How can a boy around her age be that scary? She thought. She checked again if the Scary boy is unconscious. After that, she checks her companions, both unconscious.

"Unfortunately, we don't have a rope earlier,"

The girl tried to think about what she should do, unfortunately, she could not carry the two boys back towards the village. If she just awakened her bloodline 2 years ago, none of this couldn't happen. She hated her lack of potential. Why did she not get blessed? she has been a good girl, always obedient and been smart but why not her?

"We should have listened to Kxu earlier." She regretted helping the boy and now having thoughts killing him.

Unfortunately, she didn't have the courage. Just remembering the scene of the boy taking both of her closest friends earlier with such ease and that predator eyes that preyed on her. She never felt this scared. She never felt that hopeless, She tried to back away, but her entire being felt weak.

She just sits near her companions and waited for them to wake up, hopefully.

Roach found himself in a cell. It was cold and dark. He tried to move but a collar is stuck on his neck. It felt tight.

He heard the clicking of heels.

Tak...

It continued clicking and the closer it gets, He felt more terrified. He tried to take off the collar with his bare hands but it was futile.

"Brother." A sweet and melodious voice of an angel but for Roach, It was the voice of the Devil.

He sees a silhouette outside his cell. The sounds of keys and the opening of the cell.

"No need to be so afraid. I'm your big sister. I'll never let anyone harm you." A slender hand reached out and held Roach on the Chin.

Roach could finally see the face of the silhouette. It was one of the most beautiful faces he has ever seen and her black eyes are the deep abyss. He feels himself being lost in that abyss. She felt familiar to Roach but He knew he never met her before.

"Fée," Roach spoke, he felt it was the woman's name.

"Hoho, Calling me by my first name now." Her hands slowly and softly trailing down to his chest.

Roach is confused, He never had a sister but before he could think about it. A piercing pain on his chest! Like something in him is being sucked away.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!" Roach screamed!

and melodious laughter could be heard.

Roach opened his eyes. He was breathing hard and sweating like Niagra falls.

He found himself lying at the ground.

He looked behind him and saw the girl, her head on her knees and sobbing. The boys are still unconscious.

The sun in the sky, bringing light to this dark world. Roach sighed of relief and stretched his body. He felt he had a terrible dream, but he couldn't remember it.

The girl looked up instantly the moment she heard the sigh.

There was this strange silence. Roach faked a cough.

He thinks there was just a misunderstanding. The girl has the chance of finishing him off, but she didn't and just stayed here. It's clear she is just a weak girl. She can't further move forward alone in this dangerous forest. She could have just went by herself back to her group and reported this. A huge chance of him being caught and tortured. Roach wants to apologize and coax the girl.

"Hello," Roach said in a different language and voice he never heard before.

Roach is surprised why does he know this foreign language and his voice changed. He wants to investigate it, but he still a thing on his hand right.

Roach walked towards the girl with steady steps. The girl is terrified and slowly back away with her hands up.

"Please! D-don't hurt me!" The girl cried louder and she didn't look at him in the end.

Roach didn't stop and just went in front of her.

"Hello."

The girl keeps her eyes shut but when she heard Hello, she was stunned. She slowly raised her head and saw a hand.

"I'm Roach, what's your name?" Roach casually asked with his hand seeking a handshake. He is not just gonna mind what he did earlier.

The girl looked at his hand and then his face back and forth. Roach slightly smiled because he thought it was funny and cute.

"Oy, Oy, Don't tell me you're into young girls!" [Mask] suddenly shouted at his mind causing Roach to frown but he ignored it.

When the girl sees his frown, the girl panicked because the boy is being impatient and shook his hand.

"H-Hi, I'm Li-li-da" The girl stuttered, clearly she's nervous.

The moment their hands touched. Roach felt a rough hand and Lida felt a smooth one.

"Hi, Lilida, Nice to meet you."

"No, It's Lida and nice to meet you."

It was morning when Roach beat up the boys. Roach carried the two boys and went into the nearby river. He lied the boys down and started questioning the girl about this place.

The girl tells everything she knew.

The boy with the bone knife is Nosa and the other boy is Kxu. All of them are in the same tribe named The Rising Claw Tribe. They went into this forest in the hope of finding the Fruit of Blood, which will help Kxu and Lida to awaken their bloodline. Nosa already awakened his bloodline but he wants to help his friends so he went with them to protect them even though he knew that he would be severely punished back at home.

Every living being has an ancient Bloodline in them. If the ancient blood in them are awakened, It will give them certain types of abilities. It's rare for people to not awaken their bloodline and those people are scoffed at for being ordinary.

They are many ways to awaken the bloodline, but usually, instead of rather using those ways to awaken the "ordinary". They rather use it to strengthen their bloodline.

Strengthening their bloodline will make them stronger and it will even give them more abilities.

They reached the center of the forest, where the supposed Fruit of Blood is located, but they only found him. They went with great danger

Kxu wanted to leave the boy alone because it was none of there business and go home, but Nosa and Lida insisted on helping him.

They were already extremely tired and hungry.

They even lost their things on the way, but they still brought him back, not leaving Roach behind. Roach is fascinated by the fact of them saving him even in tough times, clearly, they are just strangers.

Why go to such length and help him?

They could not just leave him behind alone in this forest. Roach had a suspicion, maybe the reason for helping him is that they thought Roach consumed the fruit. They are many ways to awaken the blood, and maybe there is a way to consume's one's blood to strengthen their selves.

The more Roach thought about it. It makes more sense to him. Why would they go to such length, It's because they needed something from me. Roach has many questions, Where the fuck is he? Bloodlines? Fruit of Blood? So Roach is not sure about what is she saying and has suspicions.

"See, What's the point of keeping them alive?" [Wolf]

"But what if she said is true?" [Mask]

"Don't give me that shit." [Wolf]

"Bastard" [Mask]

Roach is in deep thought and he walked towards the water.

Lida confusingly looked at him. He looked like a good guy, He even looks quite attractive but just thinking about earlier send a shiver to her spine. He seemed confused about what I've said, He asked a lot of question and it appears he lost his memories. Why would he ask about the bloodlines? It is already common knowledge for everyone.

Roach kneeled to scoop some water but he stopped halfway.

"Who the fuck is that Sissy?!" [Wolf]

"Oh!" [Mask]

Roach slowly touch his face and looked at his reflection. He even pinches himself if this is true.

"Holy shit," Roach muttered and then another searing headache, almost making himself unconscious again but he endured it.

Roach found himself again in another place. Standing in front of a mirror, he looked at himself.

"This is not me," Roach muttered under his breath.

He clearly looked different from before, He looked handsome before but this boy looked like a model in a magazine he found in the scraps.

"Lucas Ambrose. The youngest son of the King." Tiny bits of memories go Roach's head,

As he looks more himself in the mirror, more memories flooding him but he realized something is wrong in the mirror.

He noticed the door is opened and a woman is standing there, looking at his back, smiling.

Roach froze and fear creeping into his body. It was Fée.

The woman slowly walked into the room.

Roach wanted to move but his body is stuck in place.

The girl is behind him now and he could clearly see in the mirror.

The woman wrapped her arms around his neck. The soft and smooth skin of hers sliding through his skin.

She slightly lowered her head and whispered something.

"Lucas, don't you dare run away from me." Her sensual voice makes Roach weak and helpless. He wanted to break free and slap the shit out of her.

"You only belong to me."

Roach found himself still kneeling in front of the water. He is sweating buckets and he finds it hard to breathe.

He immediately used scooped some water to wash his face.

"Why the fuck is that bitch scary?" [Wolf]

"Begone, Thot!" [Mask]

"It's Lucas's Older sister, Fée," I said in my head.

"So, We are now inside this sissy's body?!" [Wolf]

"Obviously, Wolf. We are in big trouble." [Mask]

"How the fuck..." [Wolf]

"Don't fucking ask. We don't know." [Mask]

"Fuck you!" [Wolf]

Roach ignored the two and started to gather his thoughts. He seemed to be inside this boy's body and some of his memories are passed into him but not all.

Roach found himself in a new world where magic existed. This world is dangerous but Roach still finds his old world more dangerous, Humanity is already on the brink of extinction, More powerful creatures are replacing humans, It's already a miracle for him to survive that long.

Roach heard a groan so he immediately looked behind him. Nosa started to move.

Roach immediately stood up and run towards Lida.

Lida almost wetted herself again when she saw Roach running towards her.

Roach took her hostage.
