Chapter 13

Connor P.O.V.

Those jerks! Why didn't they write on anyone's face but mine?! *sigh* the kinds of friends I have. Friends, huh, more like traitors.

"Hey pipsqueak!!!" I yelled

...

"Yo!... little sis?"

Why isn't she answering?... I don't know what or why but I feel as if something is wrong. Why isn't my little sis- why isn't that girl answering?

Did I?... Do something wrong? I couldn't have I mean...

I tried to connect to her using the pack mind link and from that I knew that something really was wrong. I couldn't connect, but worse, I couldn't even find her link it was as if she disappeared. Oh god where is she. Sure she's the omega but... she's still my little sister though ... I ,did I do something wrong? ...No..

But something is wrong, she couldn't have left right?

I rushed to the alpha's office which is now headed by my best friend and barged in without so much as a knock.

"Connor how dare you just barge in here, don't forget that this is the alpha's office and I am the new head."

"There's no time!!! That gir-... my little sister is missing!!! She must crossed the pack boundary and by how there is no more trace of her mind link she must have left hours ago."

"... Is that all?"

"What the hell do you mean 'is that all'?! My sister is missing!!!"

"Relax, I knew this was going to happen."

"You knew what?! If you knew she would leave then why didn't you stop her?"

"You wouldn't understand."

"And why wouldn't I?"

"Just... leave I'll tell you the reason when the time is right."

"What the- ?!"

"LEAVE NOW!" at that line he used his alpha voice.

"... Yes ...alpha." I replied in a hushed tone. I wanted to question him more but as his future beta and a member of his pack, I couldn't help but obey.

"HOW DARE YOU?!!!" a woman's voice echoed as none other than the pack caretaker, Ms. Hana, barges into the office. We both turn to look, my expression of surprise and Devon's of annoyance.

"Does nobody respect their alpha anymore? I may be new but I am still your leader." Devon said, exasperated. Though I don't find any reason for him to be, he still isn't fit to lead us yet.

"You don't deserve to be an alpha. How dare you reject you mate, our Luna. How dare you reject Rose!!!" Venom dripping off her voice.

Wait... did she say? ... HOW DARE HE!!!

"YOU DID WHAT?!!!" I screamed and all I saw was red.

Third Person P.O.V [change of p.o.v.]

Connor leaped to his alpha no longer thinking clearly. Only the thoughts of his sister, now gone was what filled his mind. Hana stood paralyzed as she watched the murderous fight between the two boys.

It was not long before they had shifted and burst through the wall still continuing their fight on the grassy yard.

The guards were alerted at the sudden venomous aura. The warriors one by one were knocked out as they tried to separate the two boys. Sure they were still teens but the alpha / beta blood running through their veins made them strong.

"Stop fighting this instant." A voice boomed through the crowd as they faced the man it belonged to. Beta John.

He was about to join the fight but was held back by the pack witch, a woman who only a selected few had seen, Ms. Angela.

"It's no use, their wolves have taken over let me handle this." She whispered soft enough that only Beta John had heard her.

She took a step forward and raised her arms chanting something softly but if one listened close enough, and had enough knowledge, they would be able to make it out from an ancient language no longer used.

The two boys fell unconscious and were soon carried over to the clinic.

Angela: "John... these boys are not fit to lead this pack. If they are not ready in two months I'm afraid they would lose their position. Not like it would last long anyway."

John: "What do you mean?"

Angela: "For why it won't last long you already know exactly what I am talking about. And for the earlier, the Royal court has sent us a message."

John: "What do they want?"

Angela: "The letter is on your desk, why don't you check for yourself?"
