1 Chapter 1: The Lady In Red

Elisa felt her world crumble to the ground at the heart breaking news she just found out. The proof of what the lady in red had just claimed was in her brothers hand or was he still even her brother. She turned to him with tear filled eyes as if asking for confirmation but he looked away like he couldn't even bare to look at her right now. " Derrick give me that piece of paper, she must be lying, we all know Elisa is the real daughter, not this girl, give it to me", she heard her grandmother speak and like a broken toy she let her eyes follow her grandmother and immediately rushed to her looking at the paper which contained the DNA results of the paternity of both Elisa and the lady in Red whose identity was known as Lynn.

It turned out all Lynn had said was true. Few hours ago, halfway through the birthday party of Elisa, Lynn came causing a ruckus causing the guest to be driven away from the Flemming mansion on the basis of important information. Lynn had laughed a lot, mocking them for not even being able the figure out who was who. It turned out, through out the twenty three years of Elisa's existence, she had been living with in the wrong person's family, she didn't know if to feel guilty or jealous. This family, The Flemming, she had known them to be her own and carried pride and humility at being the only daughter of the most respected family in town, now it turned out, all her life had been a dream that was going to be end today.

"The proof is there grandmother, you see it for yourself, I was not lying when I said, I and this girl whom you call grand daughter were switched at birth, trust me, I was shocked to find out, but the earlier the better", Lynn said and smirked, this family was hers but she didn't love them, infact, her plans had already been made, all through her life all she had was Elisa's birth mother and she didn't care because she loved her and cared for her like a daughter would. Even after finding out the truth that she was the daughter of the most respected family in town, it didn't faze her, she still stood by Elisa's mother.

But the woman fell deeply ill and she needed money for the treatment but when she approached the Flemming's for help, they refused her, they turned a blind eye at her and she could only watch her lovely mother die, she would not let them live happily, she would ruin their respect and make life hard for them and what better way to do it than show herself as the real daughter of the Flemming.

" It can't be..... Elisa has been my daughter, she even has the same hair and eyes of this family, just because you look like me and you have a DNA report with you, you think we would believe you, Derrick don't believe her, no one should, she's a vixen I swear", Natasha, the mother of Derrick and Elisa voiced out. She had nursed Elisa from childhood and had loved the girl, she was even too attached to Elisa that she felt Lynn was trying to take her daughter away from her but She wouldn't let Lynn succeed. " Security, security, throw this girl out, who even let her in, Security", Natasha began to shout out her lungs but she got shushed immediately.

" Calm down Mrs Flemming, I have no desire to be your daughter, I loved my mother and you're not my mother, the rest of the family members might share a relationship with me but you don't because I already have a mother, and she's.....", Lynn stated only to hear the most soft voice and her smile widened, " Where is she , your mother, only she can explain this?", Elisa asked after a long while, somehow she had a feeling that Lynn was telling the truth but if it be so then Lynn's mother, her own birth mom, has to explain why she switched the girls, why she switched she and Lynn.
