47 Chapter Forty-six

"You saw who??"

"Last night, I happened to look down my window when I was going to bed and there he was, across the street. Just standing there under the cover of darkness and looking up at my window like he was waiting for me to see him. Before I could snap out of it, he ran into the woods. I still don't know what to make of that but I knew instantly that it was connected to that psycho. Actually I've been expecting him after what I did to you."

"Jesus." I breathed. Was he testing the waters or he wanted to prove a point to me? A light bulb flicked on in my head. "What about the cops that were keeping surveillance over you? They didn't see?"

"They stopped, at least I haven't seen them in a while." 

"Sam, this guy he's the same guy that attacked Samson." I divulged and he nodded, taking a huge bite of his burger. He wasn't surprised, he must've guessed that much already.

"This guy... Can you tell his age approximately?"
