1 The Struggle

I don't really read

It's a bore 

I think it's a bore to the world 

I can't focus 

I don't know if it was the way they taught us how to read 

Or the way they explained grammar 

They taught us to read in a certain way 

It was always book "here read it" 

We had assignments in the book 

Or the reading log they gave us every week Monday to Friday 

Which was signed by your parents for 20 mins 

If we were taught differently 

Children wouldn't be on Fortnite and Minecraft all the time

They would try to read to improve 

I don't like studying it's bore 

"Take this assignment and it's due by 12:00pm tomorrow" 

Yes, the thing we call homework 

The torture of which students have every single night 

If they don't understand it they leave it 

Things changed 

Changes are happening 

We see different sides of things 

Maybe I was born in the wrong place 

A place where the only thing I see is sadness and gore 

A place where every century there's a war 

I don't feel like our brains are improving 

My creativity is fading because of work

The work of homework and school 

I don't have time to focus on creativity due to it 

It's fading 

It's fading to the point I am gone 

I am fading slowly and faster 

I don't want it to go away

I want it back and saved 

I want it saved 

I want to save it 

Where is it
