6 Loosen up a bit

I continued my higher secondary education in the same school ( 11th & 12th standard). There was a huge syllabus change in our state education system that year for 11th and 12th classes and we were the first batch with this new syllabus. So there was huge delay of 2 months to print and distribute these new text books. Basically no classes were conducted for 2 months and we were asked to do whatever we want without disturbing other classes. We choose to spend time in playground or in a balcony area where no other classes were nearby, this change enabled me to come out of my normal self open up a bit, being more involved with a group of friends. i spent most of my time chatting all day, yep, atlast i became a normal teenager.

I grew close with especially 2 friends of mine, where we had common taste in movies especially SRK and Hrithik Roshan( imagine 15 yeara back) . The movie where both of them casted together ' Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham' was the most discussed topic and we were perfect fan girls of all those slow running sequence of SRK in black suit with helicopter background , or the chemistry between SRK and Kajol, or the perfect abs and muscles of Hrithik Roshan.

Seriously after more than 10 years now, if i watch that movie all i could see is over drama, over music , unnecessary foreign location and all logic misses. I literally have no excuse why i loved the moves at that time except i was a teenager. My taste in movies sucked then, but still SRK and HR were looking great then😁.

My first outing with my friends was to watch the tamil movie ' Ghajni' ( of course with parent's permission and on a holiday). I was so exicted and couldn't sleep the previous night at all. The movie was great the actors were even so great more than anything the experience of watching movie with friends was so Amazing.

I started attending tuition for physics, chemistry and maths because everyone was doing it , but seriously it didnt help me anything at all. All it did was made me very tired and i started sleeping in school. To be frank these two years i was not as attentive as i used to be and wasting lot of time in day dreaming or sleeping instead of studying.

I liked this shop near my school which served fast food items and my favorite was always chicken noodles. Weekly once i buy that for 27 rupees with the little pocket money i saved from childhood, but the taste was awesome. When i visited that shop around 3 years back, the same item was served for 80 rupees but still, i didnt find any other shop making it as perfect as they do.

Still with all these merryment and being loosen up a bit, i didn't forget the path ahead of me and i had a vague roadmap for it, which i know, is going to be nearly impossible to achieve. Because after five years of stale state my father started going back to his old self ( controlling, abusive and alcoholic). This time he did a perfect job of spending what ever the small amount of money was left of. ( Remember! my mom was managing the whole house hold with the interest of that source money only) . Since he withdrew all the fixed deposit with the pretext of ' going to restart the business' and spent all of it on alcohol, without a single paise to spare. He did use some of it to start the business but what ever the income from it, it was barely enough for him to quench his uncontrollable liquor thirst let alone food for his family or spending money for my college education . it was like a dejavu but the transformation speed to reach his peak was much faster than the last time.

In between all these, i completed my class 12th with 86 percentage but with each passing day my roadmap was becoming more and more distant to reach than ever.
