8 Warning

|| Fabe's POV||

"First of all. What in the fu-"

"Language Skully! That's no way to talk in front your teacher! Especially on your first day back from suspension!!" Miss Teon shook a thin finger in front of Skully's face with a motherly smile.

A week had passed since the class split down it's middle and to be honest life has been a little peaceful for once.

A little too peaceful....

Well what I expected would be a normal day back after suspension was anything but.

First starting with the huge ass white line that ran down the middle of the class, separating it into two slightly unequal parts with 9 chairs on each side.

"Excuse my language Miss Teon, but can thou explain what the meaning of this unholy fuckery is?" Skully asked, picking at his blue bangs absentmindedly.

"Well some students thought it would be....essential...if the class was spit evenly down the middle. Something about a trust exercise or something y'all came up with in the dorms" our petite teacher explained to us.

Apart from me and Skully, the only others in the class were Dean, Lofī and Riona who were sitting comfortably in their new seats. The rest were still back at the dorms doing whatever the hell they were doing.

"Hm? So they divided the class in half. This is kinda pointless...I hope the author wraps up this Civil War quickly..." Dean spoke up with his usual displeased expression and tone of voice.

Riona, who's seat was right next to his, nodded her head vigorously in agreement.

Come to think of it...she has never said a single word throughout this entire book.

"T-true....my brother hopes so t-t-too..." Her voice was so shaky and small I thought it was the wind.

At least I know what the little sister of the almighty Raza sounds like now.

"If I may ask. What do you think about the arrival of the Ronalds here Miss Teon?" Lofī asked from her seat in the middle of the second half of the classroom.

Our teacher stopped what she was doing at her desk and froze with her eyes locked into mine.

Her eyes darted all around the room in a manner that showed she was deep in thought, most likely trying to choose an answer that would be in line with her own personal beliefs and opinions but not offend me or my brother in any manner.

"Well I won't say I don't know why some of you are opposed to their arrival here. To be frank when I heard Fabian say they were Ronalds a week ago I was more panicked than any of you. But one thing I've learned is that people change... either for good or for worse..and while I've never heard of anything such as a good Ronald, I'm happy to at least give these four a chance to show us who hey really are...." Miss Teon beamed, her short, blonde hair seeming to glow slightly in the light coming in through the window.

Lofī just nodded in a silent agreement

There was a brief swishing sound, usually an indication of Fro and Bliss'arrival through portal.

"Hello Fabe and-" Bliss stopped in her tracks after noticing the line and pointed at it.

"What in the hell is this?"

~Extremely short explanation later~

"But that's pointless!"

"Same thing I said. But plot is plot so whatever.." Dean added with an eye roll.

"You all really need to stop breaking the fourth wall" I smiled. This looks like an eventful day.

*Time Skip brought to you by cheese*

We were all sitting in class.... facing the hardest challenge of our entire lives.

Those equations with Xs in them.

Most Types like us hardly ever get a proper education when we're little, due to the constant battles, moving from place to place and the glaring fact that we all have mostly no family; hell most of us don't understand half the words we use, with a few exceptions who somehow acquired education or just learn a lot faster.

Needless to say, these equation thingies are a nightmare.

I liked it better when it was just the numbers, and additions and subtractions with a sprinkle of multiplication. Now they brought letters into it and nothing seems real anymore.

Fro, Dean, Reks, Riona and Kuchisake seem to be getting into it.

The rest of us...not so much.

In the middle of my teen-life-math crisis, if such a thing exists when out of the corner of my eye, something outside the window moved in the distance.

Thanks to being an Enhanced Type my senses and physical capabilities have all been boosted, but not all of them. Some are boosted but at the expense of a few others, in my case my hearing is a bit wack from time time.

Turning my full attention to the thing in the woods I wasn't in the least bit surprised to find it was Rampart coming to school at last, with Raza sitting on the girl's shoulder, both chatting away with serious looks on both of their faces.

I squint, trying to focus on what they're saying, silently praying that my enhanced eyes could help me read lips when suddenly Raza's pointy ears perk up and twitch. She stops for a few moments before whipping her head in my direction with a demonic smile and all of a sudden up becomes down and down becomes up.

*************

"Well hello Fabian"

A voice wakes me up and I jerk up with a start to find myself in a distorted version of our world, more specifically our class. The walls are all broken and wavy and there are no desks...hell there's no ceiling, floor, or any other people, the sky above us is a blood red hue and the white clouds are dripping like wet paint. There are creatures and other things that defy explanation dancing on the what seem to be the beginning and end of this strange world...

There doesn't seem to be any sense of anything here to be completely honest.

"Rude to leave me hangin' y'know"

That voice...sounds so...so... familiar...

"FABIAN!"

"Huh?" I followed the direction of the voice, and to little surprise it was Raza, floating with a lazy smile.

"You aren't even surprised? Aw man.." she feigned sadness and put her arms over her chest in faux distress.

"Where am I? What am I doing here? How'd you do this? I have so many questions...."

"Sorry but I wanted to tell you something I'm not sure the others are ready to hear yet. There's something big coming down the horizon, and if we don't do something we're all going to die"

After a brief moment of shock, I find myself laughing at the news.

This is obviously some trick, it's Raza we're talking about. She's got to be pulling my leg right.

Right?

"Unfortunately mortal I am not pulling anybody's legs. This is the truth" The girl's voice had changed, gone was the old playful and teasing tone and it was replaced with an uncomfortably dark and straight one.

"What do you mean something's happening? And that we're all going to die? Who's behind all this?"

"The Type Force of course, don't be a fool. Keep up"

Harsh....

"Harsh indeed young Fabian. Look, the Type Force was seriously agitated by me and you guys taking out a vast amount of their forces a week ago. They're planning something but neither I nor Rampart have been able to find out what..."

I clenched my fists in disbelief and gritted my teeth.

"What the hell! The Type Force plans on attacking and we're all so unprepared we're all going to die?! If it wasn't for you three, none of this will be happening to Ryker High!" I fumed.

"If it wasn't for your damn family the Type Force won't exist in the first place. Now shut up and let me finish. Kuchisake, Rampart and I decided to branch their HQ that day for a reason. Something I can't say now because of reasons beyond our control. All I can say is that you guys better settle this Civil War thing you've got going on or you're going to be dead faster than the students in Danganronpa"

"Aren't you like insanely strong? You and Rampart can probably take in the whole world and win"

"True but using my powers comes at a risk. I'm not just some immortal god, I can still lose...and my powers take a lot out of me. While I can use them when the time comes it'll most likely cost me my life. Same goes for Rampart..." She closes her eyes and laughs, it's a cute soun..like a newborn puppy's helps or those little chirps day old chicks make.

"I'm sure we can get through this. But first you need to take care of this little war within the school. Brook's group is a lot bigger than you think, she's rallied members all around the school and they ain't finna listen to reason. Best way to make them listen to you is to best the crap out of Brook herself. Or just prove yourself to her. Either of those should work..." She floats toward where I'm standing? Floating? I don't know what that sensation was.

She pats my head with a surprisingly gentle touch and gives me her widest and most demonic smile yet.

"Heh. Go get em tiger!"

"Wait how'd I end up here anywa-"

"Off you go!" She slaps my back and I'm back at my desk.
