32 Sneaky Sneaky

The three men walked into the cave and looked around, then one of the guy's reached down onto the floor and pulled the lever, opening up the secret tunnel. Ace and Fu were crouching down at the entrance of the cave. The three men walked into the secret tunnel with Ace and Fu following from behind.

Man 1: "Are you sure it's safe in here?" He said while holding a touch while looking around.

Man 2: "I don't know it's our first time in here."

Man 3: "If it's unsafe, why would it be here in the first place."

Man 1: "Can't argue with that logic"

Man 2: "Where do you think this treasure would be placed?"

Fu suddenly tipped on a rock making some noise.

Man 3: "Shh, I hear something."

Man 3 goes to where he heard the sound coming from. Luckily, he didn't see Ace and Fu since they ended up flying into the air, on Ace's sword.

Man 2: "It's probably a stray cat or something."

Man 1: "Yeah, let's not get distracted and keep searching."

Man 3 walked away and Ace landed on the floor.

Man 3: "This area is too big for us to search by ourselves, so I will get some more men to help us."

Man 3 left and Man 1 and 2 were left to keep searching.

Man 1 and 2 walked up to the wall with paintings on it.

Man 2: "Do you think this could be the ritual you were talking about?"

Man 1: "I'm not quite sure, I need to get a closer look, shine your touch so I can see more clearly."

Man 2 put his torch closer to the paintings.

Man 2: "What would this ritual even do?"

Man 1: "Let me tell you a story, a long time ago there was this village that lived in peace with the Golden Phoenix."

As soon as Ace heard this man talking about this, he wanted to get closer, so he did. Fu was behind him holding him by his clothes as he did not want to trip again.

Man 1: "The Phoenix would help the villagers with daily tasks, like collecting water from the stream or warding off bandits, until one day it went crazy and started killing everyone, but one person survived, a little girl. The Golden Phoenix had taken her hostage, and legend has it that girl is somewhere in the Phoenix's nest hiding from him."

Man 2: "Would the ritual be used to kill it?"

Man 1: "Sort of."

Man 2: "What do you mean."

Man 1: "I wont get into details but it's more then killing it."

Man 2: "Ohh, like sealing it away from the world?"

Foot steps were heard coming from the entrance of the cave, oh no the man had come back with more people. Ace knew he had to sneak out somehow, but how? Man 3 entered the secret cave with about 10 other men.

Man 3: Split up and search the place!"

All the men went away from the exit, thank goodness it was a big place that was pitch black so Ace and Fu wouldn't get caught.

Ace grabbed Fu by the arm and ran towards the exit, trying to make no sound. They made it to the tunnel and heard two people talking on the other end. Ace got into the main area of the cave and he knocked out both of the men standing there, he looked around and he could not hear any other people near by. Fu was staring at Ace, it intimidated him how strong Ace was, he'd had never seen someone with this type of power.

"Let's hurry out of here." Ace said with care

"Okay." Fu responded nervously.

They both exited the cave and ran to the horses, then got on and started riding away from the cave but Ace knew this was not over.

"I am going to return at night." Ace said.

"What are you crazy?!" Responded Fu.
