47 Chapter 47: Dinner together.

Amy Shen was in the pet aisle in the supermarket. Jin was standing beside her, looking handsome and regal and more so, looking out of place.

She told Jin that she would buy the milk formula herself because she needed to return home early, but Jin insisted on going together with her.

A lot of people were looking towards them, and Amy Shen knew the culprit for such reaction – Jin.

Last time they met in the supermarket, Jin was dressed in a formal shirt with business slack pants. All about him screamed, "I am a normal businessman, nothing to see here." So, no matter how good-looking he is, people did not pay attention to him.

But, today is different.

Today, Jin came to the supermarket, still in his working clothes, but with an additional black suit. And you know what black suit did to women? It made the women crazy.

Like what happened now.

There were more ladies flocked near the pet aisle now, pretending to look at the wet food or openly staring at Jin, who looked, Amy Shen could say, godly.

But the thing that disturbed Amy the most would be people secretly taking a picture of Jin while Jin flaunted his smile at those women, absorbing all the attention he got from just standing.

"Choose one; anything will be okay." Amy Shen urged Jin to choose the milk formula but Jin seemed to be taking the time of his life.

"I think the expensive one should be better." Jin took two of the most expensive milk formula for cats and took his time comparing the milk. He kept on looking at Amy Shen as if asking to be praised for making the right decision.

"Okay, anything you want. I'll go check out my things first. I need to go back quickly." Seeing there were more young girls gathered around them now, Amy Shen wanted to flee quickly.

Amy Shen was about to walk away from the aisle, but Jin caught her wrist. Gasped sounds could be heard from the ladies surrounding them. Everyone was anticipating what happened next.

"Wait! Aren't you going to eat dinner with me?" Jin thought that he would have dinner with Amy Shen.

The surrounding ladies who pretended not to see anything were paying attention to Jin and Amy Shen. They expected that those two were a couple, and some drama is about to happen.

"No. I am eating with An An and my brother." Amy Shen tried to pull her wrist, but Jin had no intention to let her go. Seeing how Jin was quite sad, Amy Shen could not help but invited Jin along with her for dinner.

Some of the busybody ladies were ready to record if anything happened, but they got a bit disappointed that nothing happened to the couple in front of them. The supermarket had a history of couple proposing in there. Rumour has it that if someone proposed in the market, they will get married and live a happy life.

Amy Shen was not sure if her decision to invite Jin was the right decision, but since Jin looked like a sad puppy, she could not just abandon him to eat dinner alone.

When they reached the parking lot of Amy Shen's house and got out of the car, Amy Shen warned Jin not to do anything unnecessary during the dinner, and Jin was more than happy to comply.

Amy Shen opened the door of her home and heard Shen Jun Shan laughed loudly. Behind her, a very awkward Jin.

"Wah, so happy. What happened?" Amy Shen walked towards the kitchen to see what made Shen Jun Shan laughed happily.

To her disappointment, nothing looked out of place. Shen Jun Shan was opening the door of the freezer to take out something, and Qiao An was chopping the onion forcefully as if she wanted to break the chopping board.

"Eh? Why are you here?" Qiao An saw Jin, who walked timidly behind Amy Shen. He looked around the house as if he did not know what to do.

Upon seeing his sister, Jin let out a sigh as if he had been keeping a lot to himself. His face showed that he looked relieved for some reason.

"I saw brother Jin in the supermarket, so I invited him to dinner with us. Don't worry; we have a lot of food. Enough to feed ten people, right brother?"

There was a hint of teasing in Amy Shen's voice, but neither Qiao An nor Jin was able to catch it.

"Since when both of you are close until you invited each other for dinner?" Qiao An stopped chopping the onion. She was intrigued by the fact that Jin went to the supermarket himself.

Tang Jin, the only son of the owner of Tang Properties. It was rare for him to go to the supermarket since he was used to being served. Jin does not know how to cook. The only thing he was able to cook would be instant noodles, and Qiao An spent the entire week teaching him to get everything right during their high school.

"I want to buy something for Snowy and Orange. Brother Jin wants to buy milk formula for the kittens." Amy Shen answered everything on behalf of Jin. "You know An An? Brother Jin adopted Snowy and Orange."

Qiao An wanted to say more, but she did not know what to do with the information she got from Amy Shen. Of course, her brother likes animals, but he does not really into taking care of it.

Back in their house in City T, it was either Qiao An and her mom or the housekeeping aunties who took care of the pets in their home. Jin would play with them, but that's it. He was not made to care for the animals.

For some reason, Qiao An felt worried about the kittens.

Amy Shen asked Qiao An to take a sit and took over the cooking duty from Qiao An. Qiao An said nothing and readily handed to the knife to Amy Shen. Qiao An then looked at Shen Jun Shan and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

The annoyance from Qiao An was too obvious, Shen Jun Shan couldn't help but smile broadly in the provocation.

Amy Shen saw the exchange between her brother and her good friend. She knew something big must have happened, and she was dying to know.

After she finished chopping everything she needed to cut, Amy Shen went beside her brother and whispered to him. "Psst! Anything good happened?"

A still smiling Shen Jun Shan whispered back. "If you tell me what's going on between you and Tang Jin, then I'll tell you what happened between An An and me."

That question made Amy Shen frowned. She looked back towards Jin, who was now talking with Qiao An as if he was debating something. "Nothing's going on between brother Jin and I. So, what is it?"

"Well, if you say so. Then nothing's going on between An An and me too." Shen Jun Shan shrugged his shoulder.

That gesture made Shen Jun Shan looked like a rascal, and Amy Shen was tempted to poke his head.

"What are you talking about? Like I said earlier, we met in the supermarket and I invited him for dinner. Nothing else." Amy Shen felt that nothing was going on between Jin and her. She was not sure why Shen Jun Shan insisted that something was going on with them.

Shen Jun Shan glanced at Jin, who kept on throwing a look at his sister whenever Amy Shen did not look at his direction. Or how Jin kept on having his lips curled up when his eyes brushed past Amy Shen in the kitchen, and he thought nobody else knew.

"Yeah, right.."

Shen Jun Shan had nothing against Jin, but Amy Shen is his sister. He heard the news about the sole heir of the Tang Properties. He did not want Amy to be hurt.
