31 Chapter 31: Yu Jing 1

When both the Shen siblings looked at her with such gaze, Yu Jing knew that something was wrong. The way delivered things just now might make her seem a bit gossipy.

And guys do not like a gossipy girl.

She wanted to redeem herself so that the Shen siblings will not think awful of herself, but then she heard footsteps descending the stairs.

Qiao An and the man she saw were going down. Qiao An was in front, and the man walked behind her.

Yu Jing rejoiced in her heart. At least now they knew that she did not make things up since the proof walked in front of them voluntarily.

Yu Jing inched closer to Shen Jun Shan. "See, I told you".

Amy Shen could not stand Yu Jing anymore. It is still alright if she only talks about it but talking about something without knowing the truth made her seemed like those villains in c-novel and drama.

"An An, brother Jin, you are going out for dinner?" Amy Shen talked first when Qiao An and Jin were near them.

"I don't have any ingredients left at home. Today, I already made a plan to eat outside with you". Qiao An turned her head towards the man behind her. "But someone needs company; I have to cancel on you".

Jin smiled guiltily. He did not know that his sister had a plan with Amy Shen. "We can have dinner together. Don't worry".

Seeing that Qiao An could diss the man naturally, Yu Jing thought that their relationship must be good. When she looked at the man carefully, she felt that the man is too handsome.

Nobody paid any attention to Yu Jing. All four of them were conversing like she did not exist. This made Yu Jing somewhat upset. Because she attracted attention wherever she goes, being paid no attention to was a big blow to her ego.

Yu Jing looked at the centre of attention who looked like she did not care about anything, Yu Jing cannot help but feel irked by Qiao An.

Why the hell did Qiao An have two handsome men wrapped around her finger? Yu Jing felt a tiny bit of jealousy towards Qiao An. She thought that she looked even better than Qiao An, but from what she can see, Shen Jun Shan has been treating Qiao An like he is in love with her. Amy Shen is Qiao An's best friend, and now the handsome man in front of her was looking at Qiao An fondly.

Why can't she get the attention of handsome men like Qiao An did?

Truthfully, Yu Jing was not a bad person. All she ever wanted was a little attention from good looking guys.

"Hi, I am Yu Jing. I stay in 3006". Nobody asked, but Yu Jing decided to expose herself. Yu Jing held out her hand towards Jin.

"I'm Jin". Jin took the hand and shook it. He released Yu Jing's hand, but Yu Jing still held onto his. After a few seconds then only Yu Jing let go of Jin's hand.

Qiao An saw the way Yu Jing looked at her brother and thought that the girl changed her target too quickly. Not wanting to speculate more of Yu Jing's changed of goal, Qiao An walked without saying anything.

Yu Jing followed them automatically. Since no one said that she was not invited, Yu Jing thickened her face and followed the crowd.

When they reached the parking lot, Yu Jing shamelessly went into Jin's car. Her rationale was that Qiao An was the first person she knew in the apartment complex, so it was natural for her to trust Qiao An more.

Qiao An said nothing, so Yu Jing tagged along in Jin's car.

Throughout the short journey to the coffee shop near their apartment complex, Yu Jing asked a lot of questions to Jin. Still, she never asks about Jin's relationship with Qiao An since she already established that Jin is Qiao An's boyfriend.

Qiao An had nothing against Yu Jing, but since Yu Jing introduced herself to Jin, Yu Jing had been checking on Qiao An from time to time as if trying to see her reaction and expression. She had a gut that Yu Jing's was trying to challenge her.

Qiao An was not wrong about her gut.

Since Yu Jing thought that Jin is Qiao An's boyfriend, she has been checking on Qiao An's expression since Jin paid her more attention inside the car instead of Qiao An. Getting the attention of someone's boyfriend, or rather, able to seize the attention of someone's boyfriend made Yu Jing felt good about herself- as if nobody could deny her charm.

Even at the dinner table, Yu Jing sat beside Jin to converse with him.

Amy Shen and Shen Jun Shan knew what Yu Jing was trying to do. Amy Shen had been eyeing Qiao An to go to the washroom for quite sometimes. Finally, after sending her the nth signal, Qiao An got the sign and excused herself to the toilet.

Inside the washroom.

"Why is Yu Jing following us?" Amy was against Yu Jing following them, but since nobody talked about it, she just kept quiet.

Qiao An shrugged. "I don't know. I did not invite her. I thought all three of you are about to go out when we saw you".

"That lady is weird. You and Jin need to stay away from him". Amy Shen spoke out of kindness since Yu Jing acted suspiciously.

Qiao An was touched when Amy Shen warned her to stay away from Yu Jing. Amy reminded herself of her three best friends who always warned her to be careful when they thought something was not right.

Qiao An patted Amy's shoulder. "Don't worry. I will keep Jin away from her".

Amy Shen felt something was wrong with Qiao An's statement, but she was too lazy to talk about it.

When both the ladies returned to their table, Yu Jing was quiet- which quite a surprise for Amy and Qiao An. They knew how talkative Yu Jing is. They wonder what happened while they were away.

A few minutes earlier.

"So tell me, Jin. How did you and Qiao An meet?" Yu Jing was dying to know where did Qiao An picked up all the hot guys.

Jin had a confused look on his face.

"Qiao An is a cute girl. Your relationship with her is quite good. She is so lucky to have a boyfriend like you" Yu Jing smirked at Jin and then she looked at Shen Jun Shan in front of her to check out his reaction.

Shen Jun Shan was quiet the whole time. He felt that Yu Jing was so irritating now. She is more annoying than those girls who keep on pursuing him until they stalked him during his university years.

"Who told you I'm her boyfriend?" Jin is indeed super protective of Qiao An, but he was doing so because he thinks of her as his blood sister. What he hated the most about people, other than saying Qiao An is an outsider to his family, is that people are trying to sexualise the relationship between him and Qiao An.

"I don't know where you get that, but Qiao An is my sister. I dislike people who talk without checking their fact first".

Right at that time, Amy Shen and Qiao An returned to their seat. Everyone was quiet, so they had a quick dinner and went back home.
