3 Chapter 3: "8 p.m."

"Oh! Mr. Majnu, your Laila has arrived," sir taunted me.

"Hell, No! Why are you saying this? Idiot," I murmured.

"I heard you! Mr. Majnu," a guy sat next to me.

"Why you care?"

As I was about to snap him, she banged the desk and walked out of the room angrily. Suddenly, my whole day appeared on her face. Sir gave me a confused look, and I shrugged. My action made her smile.

"Excuse me!" He said and rushed out of the class.

Bhargav ruined her entire day, but though he didn't do it intentionally. I scrambled out of the door and saw an unexpected scenario ever.

"Please, come in, Prachi. I didn't do it intentionally. It was a joke," Sir explained.

"I am sorry, Prachi!" He added.

"No! Sir," She groaned and wiped her tears, "It's not a joke for me."

"How can you say like that?" She yelled.

I scrambled out of the door and saw an unexpected scenario ever.

Some of them sneaked from the door and sniggered. It wasn't a pleasant thing for a lecturer by a student. Though it was his mistake for crossing the limits, this was unbearable.

"Prachi! Sir was joking. Please come in. Don't embarrass him in front of every…"

Before I utter anything, she glared at me, and that stoned me for a second. An intense scene I ever imagined. Even the atmosphere got silenced. I shut my mouth and didn't spit a word in the entire conversation. After a long struggle, he convinced her.

"Can't you smile?" He asked her.

She smiled, and that was it. I wanted to see her smile, but it wasn't for me. She forgot my presence and walked into the class. I got stoned by her behavior. I didn't expect my first meeting would be like this.

Sir patted my shoulder and said, "It happens, my boy! Get back to the class."

As soon as he entered the class, everyone went back to their seat. Suddenly, a voice came from the speaker placed at the top inside the class. All I heard that,

"…keep silence for two minutes."

I stood near the front door and searched her all over the place. Everyone stood up and maintained silence for two minutes.

"Thank you!" It said.

"Ah!!" Sir sighed and picked his book from the desk.

Bell ranged.

I got into the conclusion that she will reject me.

My mind wasn't working at all. The way she glared at me was enough to reject my proposal.

"Now disperse. Enjoy your day," Sir said and left.

A message popped up. That was from Bhargav.

It said, "I'm outside the college. Come fast."

As I was taking my bag from the last bench, she saw me.

I smiled at her and said, "Hi!"

She was constantly staring me. It was very cute. I felt like she is into me. My face turned out red.

"Don't look at me like that," I said and left.

There was a little crowd near the gate. I was searching for him.

"Raghav! I'm here," Bhargav said and waved at me.

He had a funky hairstyle. I ran towards him and hugged tightly.

"My heart skipped a beat, you bastard. I thought you would beat me," Bhargav said and laughed.

After 5 minutes,

"Enough, man! You have to save these hugs for your Prachi too."

"I think your first meeting was marvelous." He added.

I tighten the hug. He coughed.

"I'm out of breath, Raghav," He said.

"Raghav!" He shouted and forcibly pushed me.

"I don't know what'll happen," I said.

"Why are you crying?" He asked in a low voice.

"I saw her crying in front of me."

"Why did you make her cry in the first meet?"

"No, I didn't!" I yelled.

"But my heart can't hold this feeling," I added.

"Which feelings you can't hold?" He asked.

I wiped my tears and said, "She is going to answer me today, and I ruined it."

"Hey! She's coming."

"What?" I turned around.

I saw her walking with eyes down. That moment I couldn't skip staring her.

"She is beautiful," I blushed.

I told myself, "She will be mine. By hook or crook, I will make her mine."

Bhargav pushed me little and said, "Brother! She's going. Call her now."

"Uh- Yes."

I took out my phone and dialed her number.

He hit my head, "stupid! Call her from here."

I looked back at him and said, "Don't hit again."

"Mental. I am doing what you said." I added.

"I said that call out her name and talk in front," He corrected.

"Oh! My bad! My bad!" I laughed at me.

She picked up the call already.

"He-hello!" I faltered.

"When the clock will show you 8 p.m., my messages will pop-up on your mobile. That'll be my answer," said Prachi.

"Prachi! I didn't expect our first met…"

"Bye," She said and hung up.

My mind started imagining the 8 p.m.

"No! No! She won't say no just for this."

"Will she message me at sharp 8 o'clock?"

"But why did she want to give me an answer at 8 p.m.?" I asked myself.

"You're loud," Bhargav said.

"She won't," I speculated.

"Now, the time is 10:15 a.m. more 10 hours to go. She'll say yes. Let's party tomorrow," He jabbered.

"How do you know this?" I asked.

"Did you talk to her before me?" I added.

"No! No! You were saying all this out by yourself."

"Is it?" I smiled.
