1 Prologue

"Where are we going, Carson?"

"Look, I really really love you and I really cherish you, you were one of my precious friends and I... I was really surprised when you confessed to me and I'm sorry if I reacted so differently, I just didn't really expect that you feel that way. But now... I'm ready to reciprocate those feelings..." Carson said.

They were driving on a very long road of Recuerdos, cars were racing against each other with their headlights lighting up the whole road while the vast wind rides along their scorching feelings. Carson, at that moment wasn't true about her feelings, but in order to convince her dear friend to go somewhere with her, she had to do it.

"Y-you'll what?"

"I'll return your feelings if you go somewhere with me."

"Go... where?"

"..."

Carson wasn't able to respond immediately, she was trembling. Her friend might

misunderstand her intentions if she were to say where they would be going, but she didn't have any choice.

"Listen ok, I know it is hard to accept and given that your past really had a great impact on you, you might... need a little help, for you to go on with life. Look I just really wanna help you, just like how I helped you at school."

Carson stopped talking when she saw the serious look on her friend's face. The atmosphere between them was really thrilling which made Carson nervous about what her friend's response is going to be. She only wanted to help, that's what she kept in her mind. There was only silence between them now when her friend suddenly spoke.

"You... think I'm crazy? Just because I said I like you?"

The very cold voice of her friend sent chills down her spine. It made her heart beat faster than ever. What her friend said was half true, but it wasn't entirely the reason. Her friend knew that her dad would never approve of their relationship, because of how rich and powerful their family is, but her friend did it anyways, which led to a big

commotion between their families. Carson calmed herself down before answering.

"No, it's not entirely because of that reason-"

"So it's partly the reason?"

"No, I didn't mean-"

"Carson, I'm sorry for suddenly confessing, I really am, but please... go back. It's alright if we remain as friends, but please don't send me there. I don't want to be there..."

Her friend's voice was close to crying, begging for her to go back, but Carson remained her car's speed. She didn't want to lose this chance for her friend to get better. She really thinks that her friend needed help.

"CARSON, GO BACK! PLEASE!!"

Carson was surprised by the sudden raise from her friend's voice. Her friend looked like a different person, now she's really convinced that she has to bring her friend there.

"I'M NOT CRAZY, BELIEVE ME! I... I CAN GO BACK TO HOW WE WERE WHEN WE JUST MET. I CAN, I CAN IMPROVE MY GRADES MORE AND I'LL STUDY MUCH HARDER! I'LL DO EVERYTHING YOU ASK I'LL NEVER GO AGAINST YOU OR ANYONE ELSE, JUST PLEASE GO BACK!"

Her friend's voice cracked with all the screaming, but Carson never listened, she busied herself on the road because of how dark it was and the cars were fast pacing. She has to keep her eyes on the road, she thought.

"You won't look at me?"

Carson didn't mind her. There was nothing that could change her mind.

"Fine."

With that final response Carson finally looked at her with the urge to convince her friend to trust her, but it was all too late. Her friend suddenly grabbed the wheel. The car was moving abnormally, switching lanes which made the cars avoid them and honk their horns. Carson was fighting for the wheel while insisting her to calm down. She had never expected for this to happen, they might get killed any minute!

The car continued to move from lane to lane, Carson was still trying to uphold the wheel but her friend's grasp on the wheel was too strong.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!?? WE CAN GET KILLED!"

"I WON'T LET GO UNTIL YOU SAY THAT WE'RE GONNA HEAD BACK!"

Carson didn't want to go back, they were near the place and she can't go back to her parents with her friend still with her, so she still insisted on bringing her there.

Carson tried to remove her friend's hands, they were both struggling and cars were avoiding them while honking their horns. Carson finally was able to remove her friend's hands when suddenly, a raging truck was going on full speed at Carson's side. The truck bumped their car, specifically on Carson's side. It's impact was really hard that it made their car fly right through the tree side of the road. It did a very severe damage on their car which nearly made them flat like a can that has been stepped on, people gathered on where they were and police sirens were starting to be heard. Carson lost consciousness because of the impact, while her friend was still conscious, struggling to reach out to Carson.

Her friend's bloody hands touched Carson's cheeks while crying.

"I'm sorry."
