1 Royal Pain

I woke up feeling strained of energy, my head felt like it had been hit with a baseball bat and my legs and feet were sore and when I lifted them out of the blanket they were red. I wondered what happened. I heard a knock and then the door creak open. A maid named Lya walked in, "Would you like me to prepare a warm bath?"Nodding my head and then getting up when my back stung. Slowly making my way to the bathroom. I finally stepped in the bathroom and raised my head to see the bath already three-quarters way full. I huffed and started taking my close off. 'This is gonna be a royal pain of a day' I got lost in thought with all the things that could go wrong today that when I finally came back the bath was starting to drain and Lya was holding up a towel. I had wanted to wear something comfy, but we were supposed to be meeting the queen,king, pince,and princess of Gantrick. I slid the towel around me and it stuck to my wet skin. I walked out of the bathroom and was met with a beautifully laced light blue dress. I was surprised and impressed and I turned my head now my gaze fell on the maid. I smiled and quickly hurried to my bed to put the dress on. I looked at myself in the mirror and was surprised. I had been wearing hoodies and sweatpants for a while and now that I wasn't all my features shown. My face slowly turning red. It fit like a glove. I walked to the door, when I was infront of the door I turned my head looking at Lya nervously then opened it and walked out. I put my head up and crossed my hands over the dress. Walking down the stairs I was greeted in the entry way by my father and mother with a smile. They were looking out the door at a couple of people. I knew who they were since father insisted on me doing research on all the royal people. "Good morning Mrs.Amaris, Mr. Esmond. Good morning princess Zariya, princess Zemira,and prince Evander." I said while I curtsied and smiled. "Good morning Mrs.Alynthi, Mr.Daesyn,and princess Asterin" princess Zemira said with a smile.
