Chapter 2

Ivy parked her little pumpkin at the last parking because she doesn't need any scratch on her pumpkin. I thought it was kind of weird when I saw her kissing the front glass before going on in.

We climbed up the stairs rubbing and pushing against other students. Ivy and I stepped inside when it was really crowded and everyone's eyes were upon me.

Being the new girl in school attracts everyone's attention so their eyes kept starring and starring. We scooped in near to the principal's office it was her name...when she looked at me with those decent eyes when she looked at me with those decent eyes. I looked around her office which the curtains weren't open, it made me kind of curious. And the dark looking drawing covered with snakes behind her chair made me think that she was a person who likes living elegantly.

"Hello Kennedy, I am your principal Julia Brooks and we would like to have you around the school. As I can see you already made friends with Ivy, so I guess she might show you around. Thank you" she said looking at me with those dark eyes and twirling her hair around the fingertips.

"Thank you, Madam Julia. It is nice to meet you." I told her pushing my chair back and standing up almost to leave her office.

After leaving her office, I secretly told Ivy that sometimes she creeps me out. And she tapped my shoulder and said "we all feel that too girl."

We walked through the dark hallway with one light blinking like it was in a horror story. Ivy showed me my locker, it was few lockers away from her, and next to mine were two guys named 'Ryder' and 'Adrian'. I asked Ivy who they were and she told me to stay away from them as far as possible.

Listening to her I took the textbooks for the first class and it was biology. We started walking towards the bio lab when a girl with kind of messy hair came and hugged Ivy. I moved away giving them some privacy, soon Ivy introduced me to her.

She was Alexandra Brooks. With confusion in my eyes, I looked up to her and asked " Are you by chance the daughter of the principal Juila Brooks? ". She gave me a laugh and said yes, I felt really guilty about what I said earlier about the principal.

"And you must be the newbie, Kennedy. I am Ivie's friend and I am 17 years old just like you. In that case, you are my friend too. Hi FRIEND😂😂😂 and YOU SMELL REALLY NICE KEN." she said holding my hand and hugging me really tight when we heard the bell ring and we were late for class.

Great!! on my first day, I was late for class. When we stepped in, it was already 15 minutes late and thanks to Alexandra the daughter of the principal the professor let us in. They sat in their old seats while I stood there next to professor Gavin Hadden the biology teacher before he lifts his head up to look up to me.

He looked like he was in his mid-forties but actually, he was 52 years old (SHOCKED). He had that brownish blonde hair that was flipped up using gel probably.

" Who are you? Are you new?" he said looking up to my eyes with weirdness.

With shocking eyes, I told him that I was new here and my name of course to let him know about me. He pointed out an empty spot next to a kind of acute and hot looking guy. I slowly crawled towards him, when Professor Gavin shout out to walk faster.

I sat next to him when he suddenly looked away and covered his eyes and his nose with his black leather jacket. At that moment I smelled my hair and my sweater thinking the bad scent was from me.

Alexandra ran near to him and dragged a pencil out of his pocket, then I knew that he might be her BF for sure, but he looks really hot. We could not do the project together, most importantly I couldn't even ask his name and thank him so we got a 'C+' grade.

After the bell rang my curiosity was on top of the list about Alexandra's relationship with him. We had a lunch break so the cafeteria was pretty much full. We took over dishes that contained bacon, mashed potatoes, an apple, and fruit juice and sat at the last table in the corner.

While we were eating and getting our tummies full I asked Alexandra slowly about the thing between them.

"Why are you so curious about him?, Do you like him??? " Alexandra asked bringing giggles to our mouth.

" Eww, no I don't like him, he totally just blew me off and covered his nose. It was a weird expression from a guy than I expected it to be. I said blushing below my eyes, above the tiny dimples I got.

"Don't worry he is my brother Ryder Brooks the bad boy and the hottest kid in school. He is actually 19 years, but he failed a year purposely I don't even know the reason," she said tapping my thigh.

Suddenly a cold wind blew through the door. Everyone's single eyes were over there not on me. OHH!!! It was her brother with 2 other guys and 1 girl next to Ryder.

Ivy pointed out each one of them and told their history and their names. "To the right of Ryder was Natalie his girlfriend, next to her was Ryder's one of the best friend Ethan and to the left is his other best friend Adrian."

Then Alexandra started saying " Natalie is 17 years old and she's the head of cheerleaders and the school beauty. Then Ethan is also 18 years and he is really smart and he did not fail the grade. At last, is Adrian - the tattooed guy, actually he is a gang leader and a dealer as the rumors around the school. All three guys are in our soccer team and her bro is the CAPTAIN...."

At first, I was kind of confused but got used to it later. The break was almost over and since it is winter in Springwoods there are only 4 periods per day with the break it is 5 periods per day. We had English then afterward Maths.
