"I did not think that such an interesting thing would walk in my lair of it's own accord."-Orochimaru
Matatabi commented something about the snake like man putting too much emphasis on his 's-es' which Veronica skillfully ignored and chose to think of how to make this situation advantageous for her.
On one hand, working together with Orochimaru will lead her to answers of her existence, and that woman's existence as well, faster. However, the man, or woman, had rather peculiar hobbies. There was also the fact that he would not be interested in helping her at all especially considering how she was not even as strong as him at the moment.
She may have been strong enough to kill Kabuto easily however, Orochimaru was in a level of his own. He probably would kill her, which would cause more problems later on, if she tried something which would disrupt his plans.
"The more people that survive, and are happier, the loyal they'll be to you and the more things you could experiment with. Have you tried working with that idea yet?"-Veronica
Suigetsu looked at her like she was the biggest idiot he had ever seen. Veronica payed no attention to his nonsensical shouting and focused on Orochimaru.
"Do not think I don't know what you are trying to do."-Orochimaru
Veronica coughed slightly and swallowed back the blood which had come up her throat before replying.
"Well, is it working?"-Veronica
Orochimaru chuckled slightly, amusement the only thing recognizable from his expression. Veronica smiled back at him, one which she hadn't used in around an year she guessed.
"Perhaps."-Orochimaru
Suigetsu quietened down when he noticed the eerie silence around the two 'crazy b**tards' as he had now labeled them. He did not like the silence which seemed to be never ending, but it was not as though he could say something and someone would listen. At Orochimaru's hideout, nobody listened.
It was always survive; survive so that you can at least see the next day.
Frowning hard, he shouted at the top of his voice. He wasn't like the others, he would never give up. He had things to do after all.
Veronica ignored him easily once again but he could see her look at him for a brief second. There was a particular emotion he had not been able to grasp but by Orochimaru's smirk widening into a smile, he could tell it probably meant nothing good.
Soon after Orochimaru left after removing the seals which kept her bounded. He had given her a look which Veronica could only understand as a challenge.
"What the **** is going between you two?!!!"-Suigetsu
Veronica finally properly looked at the boy. He was almost the same as she remembered him to be from the anime. Stretching lightly she formed a rough plan in her mind.
Sending some healing chakra to her throat to relax herself, she looked around the room she was in. She had quickly found out that he had taken her DNA sample while she had been unconscious and had started conducting some research on it. So far, he had found nothing note worthy but she still decided to try and remember all of which he had gathered.
"How the **** did you even ******* get him to leave you alone like this anyway?"-Suigetsu
"Well... If you figure out how his emotions work, it's easy to get at least something from him."-Veronica
She spoke with Suigetsu a bit, the boy calming down after he found out she was actually listening to whatever he had said before and what he was saying at the moment. He mostly asked her questions about the outside world and what chaos she had caused.
"I was passing through the village, and no I could not go through the Land of Fire as I am a missing nin, and Kabuto caught me. I killed him but Orochimaru found out before I could escape. He captured me and I suppose he found my... Kekkai genkai, interesting and so here I am."-Veronica
She had only said one truth to him but she guessed it was fine. She had not fought with Orochimaru and only defended when he did attack, since that would hinder her later after she escaped. Fighting with Kabuto had already left her with wounds that she could only heal with Matatabi's chakra, and she did not want to risk fighting a sanin. Not when she could lose everything.
Pushing some more chakra towards her throat, she swallowed the blood once again.
[You shouldn't risk it.]-Matatabi
Sighing slightly, Veronica decided to check her body for any seals Orochimaru might have placed on her. During her fight with Kabuto she had to numb all her pain using pressure points so that she would be able to fight and not pay attention to her wounds so she wouldn't be surprised if the effects had lasted till now.
She, thankfully, did not find any seals or traces of foreign chakra on her body.

Nita was in a bright mood. He had finally found where Veronica might have been hiding. He had also found the location of the two tailed beast.
A smile spread across his face, one that reached his eyes, as he looked at the temple like structure before him. He would have never guessed that the tailed beasts would have such magnificent things.
"Tch. Even keeping it ******* visible is draining all my power."-Nita
Frowning, he quickly scanned the place and groaned in exhaustion when he felt his chakra almost be depleted.
"Zetsu. You go and check it out."-Nita
The black plant appeared from the ground once before disappearing again.
Nita looked at the place where the temple was before he had given up on keeping it visible. It almost seemed too good to be real. Even if he saw the place, he could not enter it himself, he had to use his chakra to sense if anyone was in there. However, if he could not see it then it was as though even the presence of the temple would disappear.
Was there something wrong with his chakra? Had it something to do with the temple itself? Was something wrong with his chakra pathways? If so, then how come he had only noticed now? Was the temple that special? But he did not sense any genjutsu or foreign chakra. Then what was this?
Nita gritted his teeth in annoyance and decided to think about this later. He would gather all the information he could from this place and then head back and continue search for Veronica while untangling this mystery of a temple.
