34 Graduation Arrives! [Part-34]

Veronica, seeing her sensei come to a stop, used her top speed, without chakra, to reach him. Although she had gotten tired from running, or jogging, so much she still had enough stamina to run another mile.

This shocked the two boys as they slowly figured out why she ran slow at the beginning. She knew to conserve her energy and not get caught up with others.

They thought of themselves as stupid for getting caught up in their so-called competition.

Smiling, she slowed down and she waited for them to reach her. To the boys, the smile looked like it was haunting them right now.

"Alright, now that you all are finally here. Let's start the next exercise. I want you all to punch me. With all your strength."-Ura

Ura had a small smile like before on his face as he waited for his genins. He wondered if any of them would notice what they were actually supposed to do. Although he was pleased with his team that he got this time so he he was thinking of letting them off even if they didn't understood the task.

Veronica stood back in thought and the other two decided to go first. Ohta, the boy didn't have much strength but good enough for a 12-year-old. The other one was a bit stronger but in Veronica's eyes, it wasn't much.

'Well, I can't expect 12 year old kids to have trained their asses off.'

She slowly looked at her two teammates and knew that even they hadn't noticed their sensei's wordplay. It had took her a full two minutes to actually see what they were supposed to do as well.

[Well he didn't really mention anything about a 'team exercise' from the beginning till the end.]-Matatabi

'He's probably trying to see if we can be manipulated easily or not.'

[Did you figure something out about this man?]-Tobirama

'Maybe. We'll just have to see.'

Smiling a little, she decided to just copy what the other two did. She could tell that his senses were tense just before the punch connected. It was as if they were telling him to avoid it. She wasn't that strong but still strong enough to leave a very dark bruise on a skilled ninja who wasn't using chakra to protect himself.

He looked a bit shocked at the strength before smiling a little in satisfaction. She moved away from him after seeing that.

[He could be some psycho masochistic pedophile. Keep your distance from him.]-Matatabi

"Veronica, I want your training schedule written down and given to me by today afternoon."-Ura

She nodded and looked at the other two. Since Ura didn't have that much of a reaction to any of their punches, the boys could only guess that either Veronica was very weak or strong in the strength department.

Tightening her bandages around her arms, she walked back towards her teammates.

Her face remained impassive as she looked at her sensei.

"Follow me."-Ura

He had a slightly happier tone in his voice as he commanded his team.

'Again? This is annoying.'

This time, their sensei didn't run but jogged. Veronica stayed a step behind him while the other two walked beside him. She noticed them observing their teacher as he jogged and fixing their posture by copying his.

Veronica didn't feel the need to fix her posture as she already knew that almost everything move she made in taijutsu and the like would be correct. Kakashi and Tobirama had made sure of that.

[I feel like you're following him like this on purpose.] -Matatabi

'I am. He said to follow him. This isn't the kind of training for normal Genin. It's better to do exactly as he says for now. Besides, this is a good position to observe all of my teammates and not be studied by anyone without having them be noticed by me.'

Matatabi 'hm-ed' in acknowledgement as she went back to observing Veronica's little team.

Ura glanced at all his students. Looking at Veronica though, one could see he was in deep thought about her.

'Tobirama-san is back.'

Undoing the jutsu, she made no hand signs and tried to keep her chakra as composed and natural as possible. She could tell her sensei noticed something was off about her but she didn't bother to even take a second look at him.

'Did you find something?'

[Yes, a couple of Genin teams are chosen every year for ANBU. Of course, only 50% of those children go to ANBU. These teams are the ones which have been selected after many considerations by the Hokage. No one else except some clan leaders can make suggestions to these teams.

Usually though ANBU are chosen from chunin or sometimes experienced Genin, which are recommended by their sensei.]-Tobirama

'Won't you need the guardian's affirmation, if they are a high ranking ninja, for something like this? Did Kaka-San really agree to this?'

[These teams are to treated as low level chunin at best and after checking their progress they are recommended to be ANBU. Right now, Kakashi won't say anything. Only when and if, you join ANBU.

This time, two teams would have been selected. However, Danzo decided to interfere.]-Tobirama

'Huh. Interesting. I guess I should count myself as lucky that he didn't go after me. Should I join ANBU though? It would take up a lot of my time. I'll think about that later.'

[Also, Hiruzen will only keep his eye on you when you are in training. Or if he has nothing to do.]-Tobirama

'The Hokage is that bored, huh? Well, I suppose he can behave like a creep for a while longer.'
