Conrad being the only child in his family, would naturally be the next heir for his household. But after his mother passed away when he was just 8 years old and his father re-marrying a widow, his life had taken a turn for the worse. His stepmother had insisted that her biological son be the next heir and with the help of her close connections to higher-ranking nobles, she had managed to pressure Conrad's father, his only protection into accepting this fact. Conrad, having accepted that he had lost his succession rights, decided to join the Asylum as an Exile, a place where the homeless nobility live. But when an unexpected event takes place, Conrad's life will turn a complete turn and perhaps rather than dying as an Exile, he will perhaps become the most recognized in the country.
