05. When have limited option, use creativity

Let see for starter, I need to see what I have in the train.

First aid kit and fire extinguisher, wow seriously they have it here? I though it an old model train so they follow old style. Well, it good for me so I have no complain as I have use for it.

Remain of beast that blind one eye. Well, it only half left as some part is missing. Eeewwww. The bloody mess.

Hey, the M4A1 I use just now or should I say before I lose conscious. Now stain with some bloody mess. Eeeww too. Don't feel like using it but do I really have choice? Let put it aside first, if I have time, I will clean it.

Now that all I have, I feel regret not bringing any food when I go out. But then again, who in their right mind to bring snack to a museum? More likely I will smuggle, Ahem, bring snack to a cinema movie.

Now let look at outside of the train.

To the right, something huge and black is blocking my view so I dunno what that.

To the left, was the place I step out just now. Endless snow and a bit further is forest.

To the front, a gigantic tree is on fire. At the middle of the trunk, look like something had hit the poor tree hard enough to left such deep hole.

At the back, also snow and trail left by the train. Now I realize, don't this train have a cart to carry coal and water?

If not, how I gonna refill the train furnace in case it run out? Simply cut some tree and melt the snow? That also I need an axe to cut and bucket to fill the water but I have nothing sort of that now. "Oh man I so doom." Zi Zen talk to himself all this time.

After calming himself down, he then organize his thought.

Ok, first of all I have main objective now, get the train running again to search for my family and go home together.

But before that , i have to survive and learn how to use the train.

To survive I need food, water and shelter. Shelter will be this train, safe from danger, warm due to the furnace although there no bed. But I dunno how long the fire gonna last.

Food and water an issue. My only weapon is my M4A1 and a gun. I can hunt with this but it will attract attention of other beast and I don't want the whole forest animal to charging at me so I need something to suppress the noise or I will use a knife but I don't have one. Some more the cold will make my gun jam so I need to keep it wam until I need to use it.

So first I need to get out of this train. And to get out, I need something to cover me from the cold. Obviously, my only layer of cloth not gonna make it.

Let see, for now the best way will be using the beast fur to cover me. But in order to do that, I need to separate the fur from the body and not to mention the bloody mess I need to bear. So the problem now is I need a knife or something to cut as I think my hand will not be able to tear apart the thing.

Let me think again what is sharp enough to cut. Nope, nothing come in mind.

Well my mom always say when stuck or cannot think anything, take a walk around and not think anything. Well, I only can walk here but well whatever.

The snow is white, the train is black and grey, blood is red and fire is pretty under snow.

Ok, how the tree is on fire? Lightning strike like the primitive era? Then, how human make fire. Rubbing two wood together, then how they shape the wood? Oh yeah, stone!

Now how I obtain stone? Outside snow is thick and I don't think I wanna dig for stone. Not to mention that I going out without any protection against snow.

Next, is sharp bone. I glance at the corpse. I squat beside the corpse looking into the bone area. Eeewwww. I must preserve. Uh, the blood smell and the internal part of the beast. I feel like vomiting. Ok, stop, stop, stop. I will continue this after a break.

/After a break/

That kind of fast, let continue. Let see again. At the bone which are easy to come off. Let me try, pulling some random bone. Nope, nothing. All are secure hard to the corpse. Next plan, try break it. Hehehe, taking something heavy to knock some bone off. In this case, the fire extinguisher.

"Hu....hu...hu.." the fire extinguisher ain't light either. However, this my victory, a bone came off due to my knocking. "Yeah" I post with 'V' sign. Never mind the blood, let make a fur coat.

/After a long time/

"Finally, I successfully make a fur coat or sort of." I should increase my dismantle skill when I have chance. The fur coat is just what I strip from the corpse with the bone. I use the sharp point to poke a tiny hole one by one and then tear it. I now have a long sleeves fur coat (bloody). I wear it. The sleeve is too long and I have no fur pant. Let improvise.

/After another long time/

Finally, a fur coat and a fur pant. Held together with my belt. And for my reward, a cooked meat. I use the bone to poke and take the meat that I put the furnace. Look juicy.

What? Don't I afraid of it poison or unsuitable for human consumption?

Well, beggar can't be choser.

*Nam, yam ,umm, nam* A bit too hard for me but still it can fill my stomach. Taste like chicken. A bit of spice will be good.

Now for water, I use my cloth to put the snow. Then, put near the furnace and wait it melt. When the water drip from the cloth, I drink that water. Ain't it dirty? Well it my own cloth so I have no complain.

Now stomach is filled, let take a rest.
