9 Ep.9. Should I Hate Him...?

Grandma looked at me and remarked,"Honey I understand your curiosity to know about your father, but I think you should not know…."

I knew what she was goona say even before she compleated her statement, thus I prepared my counterattack.

I looked at her with my dazzling eyes and expressed the feeling of wanting,… wanting of something desperately. Honestly I always wanted to know about how a man my father is, how does he look and a lot about him. From childhood I wanted to wait for my father by the door at night,... waiting for him to come back from work and then hug him tightly when he's back home. But I never got that chance once in my life.

I knew that my counterattack will work on her. It always works on ma and aunt hence if my calculations are not wrong then it will also work on grandma.

Grandma looked at me and smiled. "You sure know how to ask something.….nicely yet cleverly…." "Anyways you are not a child anymore and I guess its time you should know about it!" Grandma said.

I looked at her with my excited eyes as she spoke, but I didn't knew that this excitment of mine would soon change into hatered for him!

Grandma started talking with a sigh,

"Your father and your ma first met when your ma was on a mission to kill some demos. At her young age Serra was not like now, instead she was quite the opposite. She was rough…and not really the famine type, brave like a lion, strong as a mountain and she was always energetic and excited for any work she did!

That mission was not an odinary one as it took place in Atlantis….The land of water….home of all water creatures. And there your pa saved your ma as she was in some danger, it was the first place they met. And after that day your pa started to meet up with your ma. At first Serra didn't showed any intrest in him….but latter she somehow got entangled with his life.

They started meeting up more than often and gradually they ended up falling in love.….. And on the day Serra's 24th birthday, your pa asked your ma to marry him. I still remember Serra's face that day. She was filled with happines and her eyes were sparkling! So as weeks past both of them got married….."

"Wait.. what noo….. my father is a fish!" I shouted in middle of the conversation.

"I know I should respect ma's choice but… how can my mother fell for a fish, no offence its just the fact that I love eating fish keeps bothering me!" I said.

"Oh honey! Nono….." grandma started laughing immensely.

"No need to fell bad… your father is no normal fish…he is Poseidon the king of Atlantic, God of the sea..'

It honestly was a lot to take in… I…I…I'm the daughter of The Poseidon…..! The Sea God…. What the fuc… is going on….I'm mesmerised!

My ma is the witch princess and pa is the water king….woooaaaa!!!

Grandma looked at me with a sad smile I could fell that she didn't wanted to kill my happines but…..

"After your older brother was born…" granny continued.

"What I have a brother…?"

"Ya… not one but three older brothers!"

I was amazed by the fact, all my life…..I thought I had no company, because Kate was not always with me as she had to attain business trips with her family most of the times and ma never came home until now, whereas aunt she was always busy with work….but no I was wrong I had brothers not one but 3 of them…unfortunately I didn't knew that they existed just a moment ago…my heart was overwhelmed with happiness

"After 2 years of your older brother's birth you were born….thats the point when everyone and everything changed!

Most of the Atlantic show there powers from the moment they were born, but you didn't, which had only one possibility that you are a witch. By knowing this your father was very happy as all the three of your brothers inherited your pa, and you were the only one inheriting your ma. You were 6 but your powers were still not bloomed! Thats when your father started to be suspicious about your ma.

Generally …. late bloomer witches… they start showing there power by the age of 4.But you didn't…. Your father did a *power test* on you without letting your mother know…. [*Power test- its a test done on people to know if they have any power and to know about the the level of the power the person has.]…. And the results came to be declined…which ment that you were not a power carrier, you were a human!

This made your pa very angry and he started to accuse your ma, and proclaimed that she was having an affair with a human! But your ma declined it.

Days latter things turned worse, your father tried to kill you due to his excessive rage..... and anger towards you, but he failed…it seemed like he somehow got attached with you. Thats why he planed to abandoned you…. But your mother could not except it! That day she took you and ran away..... she brought you here in the witch academy and we erased your memory, so that you don't remember any of those devastated things….while Serra took you to the human world so that you could stay away from magic…" She ended! I felt her drop of tear from her face on my palm.

Hearing those last few words from her mouth, left me speechless. It all happened so quickly…, the sence of overwhelming happines suddenly changed into that felling which I always felt, the felling was known by me thoroughly, it was 'pain'.

My heart filled with pain, the same pain which I always felt within me, at school, at home, and everywhere. The only difference was that it is far more painful than usual.

"But not anymore…..your power has proven your mother's innocence!" Grandma said with happiness.

"No granny you are wrong!" I replied.

She looked at me with her confusing eyes.

"She had proved her innocence long back, with her words not my power, and…my power gaining back only proves one thing and that is father was wrong 10 years back…" I said in a painful voice.

Grandma gave me a bright smile and a huge warm hug and said "Oh honey! My little princess".

[The room was quite for a while]

"So….you know everything now…."granny said.

'Hmm…mm..' I replied while I was in some deep thought.

"So what about now…what are your plans?" granny asked.

"Well…lets start by learning how to control this power!"
