2 Waking up

Tomorrow is the first day of high school. A new school ,new house,new life....

As I get up and ready for the day I wonder what school this year is gonna be like. What new people will I meet? Who are the popular kids? Are they mean?

Going down stairs I grab some breakfeast and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Finished with doing my morning routines, I go to wake up my little sister Layla. "Layla time to wake up," I say softly trying hard to not scare her. "Good morning sissy," Layla says with her usual light brown bed head and tired face. "Good morning,"I say back. "Mom's at work so I will be taking care of you again," I say. "Ok sissy, im hungry," she replies.

I take her hand and walk her down stairs. "what do you want for breakfeast," I ask. "Eggs please!!!" she replied happily with joy on her face. "Ok, Ok eggs coming right up," I say as we both laugh. A few minutes pass I finished cooking up some eggs.

"Can I have some ketchup pwease?" she askes softly thinking I might say no. "Sure, why not. What do you want to drink?" "Milk please. Strawberry milk!" she says excitedly. "Ofcourse madam," I say jokingly with an english accent. She giggles.

20 minutes later we are both ready for the day to come. Layla goes upstairs to play with her dolls. And me, well lets say we have other plans. Hahaha who am I kidding I dont have any friends... or plans. That's sorta sad but it's common and im new here so yeah.

*Knock knock knock*. "Hello," I say from behind the door. "IIIITS GRANDMAAAA!" I open the door and and hug my grandma "omg hi granma I missed you LAYLAAA COMME SAYY HI TO GRANDMMAA"I said. " IM COMMING WHAT IS IT IM COMMING!"Layla yells while running down the long narrow stairway. "OOOOOOOOOOOOO GRAANNNDDDMMAAAAAAAAAAAA"Layla yells in surprise. She runs over and hugs grandma so ever tight so tight I could basically see sparks all around them. Hehe. "oh dear sweets Ive missed youI came so I could watch Layla while you explore the town."grandma says nicley and calmly with a kind face you know the looks grandmas give nobody can explain the way it looks or makes you feel but it feels nice. Not neing able to refuse to grandma I kindly agree " ok grandma. Bye Layla love you be good to grandma see you guys later."I say calmly. I start heading to the door I throw on some shoes and a sweater and head out.I think ill go on a walk around my school area and down town to see some shops.

I take the bus to the town and find my school and I see a girl is here too. I wonder if she is going to this school too? I start walking towards her. I think ima say hi. " Um hello my name is Harmony and im new here do you go to this school too?"I say trying to not panic. "um yes hi im phe as in phoebe and yes I do go here to."she says nervously. "I-i gotta go see ya?"she says as if shes in a rush to get out of here. That was wierd.... I start walking around the neighborhood and find a little icecream shop I go in. "Hello?"I say. "Hello welcome what can I get you?"she says in a calm manner. "Can I get any icecream of your choice im sorry I can just never choose what to get."I say weirdly

"Its fine i'll get you a chocolate swirl with whipped cream."she says strangely calm. "Thank you!,"I say excitedly. She passes my my icecream.

I think ive been out enough for today. I head back to my home walking bus then walking again.

I make it home and finished my. icecream and ..... it was delicious!!

"Im hommeee!"I say in a playful manner. nobody answers I look around the house and find Layla asleep alone.I guess grandma left. I pick up Layla and tuck her in bed. Moms not home yet guess she has another night shift.

I shower and get in my pajamas and write in my diary -Tomaro is the first day of school I met a girl named phoebe today I wonder where she was going?- *YAWN*Its already 10pm wow today was fast. Time to get some sleep.
