15 CHAPTER 10: The Fun Is Back!

Months go bye and the birth date comes around and I have been having false contractions and am stuck in the hospital for until the babies come. Byron and Ben were fighting on who should stay and who should go out and buy supplies for when we being them home.

The nurse comes in and whispers in my ear "The other nurse wanted me to tell you about the babies and to let you know that there are 3 heartbeats on the monitor so we'll need to do a seasection since but one baby can be out first as it's the closest"

I gasp and that's when Byron shushes Ben and they look at me but I fake a smile even though this is a tough situation I am in. Who's the other father though?

BYRON'S PERSPECTIVE

The nurse says something in Nora's ear and we hear her gasp and we turn to look at her and then she collapses from pain.

"Out,out,out!" the nurse yells at us and we are left to wait in the waiting room.

Ben shrugs "At least we can both be out and waiting" but I just leave to buy baby stuff ahead of time.

Where to go? Baby's R Us is a good store. So I spend a whole day in that store and I buy boy and girl stuff and a few packages of diapers.

BEN'S PERSPECTIVE

A whole day a wait in the hospital and Byron arrives at 5 pm the next day.

"Where were you?" I whisper to him

"I dropped some stuff that I bought off at home and then I had dinner with my team and I let them know that I'd be out still for babies and they told me that I got a month more and that's it"

I shake my head "That's shit. Seriously though, what do they expect? For us to go straight back to our racing right after the babies are born?"

He nods "Yeah, they're overly excited about this racing season"

NORA'S PERSPECTIVE

I open my eyes to a bright light and a pinch on my side. I open then completely and a nurse gazes at me.

"You made it through the surgery sweetie and you didn't even need much done cause after you gave birth to two babies the last baby had to be a seasection so you have 3 small stitches on your stomach but you'll heal in a matter of days" she says

I nod "Where are my babies?"

. She smiles "You'll get to hold them in a few minutes" and leaves.

Seconds later Byron and Ben come in with wide eyes and both of them hold one of my hands. Byron looks up at me first "How are you feeling?"

"Good" Bad. I smile 😁

He shakes his head "Your such a liar" and smiles

Ben stares at me "You'll be able to hold them soon?"

I nod

A knock is heard on the door and one nurse comes in with one of the babies.

"This one is a baby boy" she hands me a small bundle that's shiny clean and his eyes are wide open and he's staring at Byron. He has blue eyes and tanned skin like me but mostly like Byron.

"I'll name him..... Damian Jones Hamden" I lightly touch him on the cheeks and then I hand him over to Byron and he tucks him in close.

Another nurse comes in with my second baby and smiles at me "This one is a girl"

I try not to be too excited as I hold her in my arms "Hmmmm...she'll be named Esme Jones Greystone Hamden" I chose this name because she has my eyes and Ben's skin and Byron's small body and face.

Finally, the last nurse comes in with my last baby but she waits until we've all calmed down before speaking "You'll be very happy"

She hands me not one but two babies but they are both different as one is boy and the other is girl "This'll be Enzo Hamden Greystone and Daphne Rose Jones Hamden" So Enzo because he is like Ben and Daphne.... because she looks mostly just like me and kind of like my brother and my father who is dead but she is mostly like my side except for the eyes which are green and that confuses me more cause Byron doesn't have green eyes and neither does Ben have green eyes.
