4 You

Valeria watched the boy from the balcony, she calmed down and didn't let herself get carried away by the moment. She had seen a lot of people who had the same face in all the years that she just had to be sure.

It was possible that he just had the same face but not the heart that she was looking for. She closed her eyes and turned opened them. Her pupils were gold in color, she looked down at Davy with her eyes. Just like the others he didn't has the firefly in his heart. She sighed and left the balcony in a sour mood.

"Two hundred more years and I can be free from my contract," she said.

She reunited with Jav and they headed out of the hotel together. As they walked out of the hotel Jav got a call from the headquarters and left to answer it. Valeria got her phone out and checked the notifications.

She scrolled down to read all her messages. She marked all of them as read and closed her inbox.

"Let's go," Jav shouted behind her and she jumped and dropped her phone. She let out some air and glared at the idiot, she bent down to pick her phone and together they exited the building and drove off.

"Hey, Davy. Did you see the news, apparently people are going missing without a trace in the city. It is so mysterious."

"Yeah, I heard. By the way, Gael, what of that you like so much. Are you ever going to introduce me to her?" he asked his friend.

"Yeah, give me your phone. I will send you her photo," he said.

Davy took his phone from his pocket and handed it over to him. Gael took the phone from him and examined it, it was different from the phone that he was used to seeing him with. He unlocked the phone and saw a beautiful girl's photo in the background.

"When did you get such an expensive phone and who is the gorgeous lady in your background," he said flashing the phone in Davy's face.

Davy snatched the phone from him and took a look at it, he was surprised. " This isn't my phone," he said.

"What, if not yours then whose is it?"

"I don't know?" he stated.

He dialed his number on the phone and held the phone to his ear. The phone rang for a while but got disconnected. He tried to call again repeatedly but it was disconnected. He gave up and kept the phone in his pocket. They enjoyed the birthday party and he put the phone problem at the back of his mind.

"Why are you in a sour mood. You have been like that since the hotel," Jav inquired while driving the car.

"It's nothing. Shut up and drive," she said and leaned back in her seat. Her mind was constantly running back to the thoughts of her love. The only man who was able to make her smile.

"Well, it's not like I am concerned for you. I am just asking but it's okay if you don't want to tell me. I am not going to feel bad or anything, it's not like our years of friendship will be affected in any way," he complained.

Valeria was lost in thoughts when her phone started ringing. She came out of her trance and got her phone, she noticed the phone was not hers and her number was calling the phone. She frowned.

She recalled how the fool driving the car had caused her to drop her phone and she must have picked someone else's phone. She disconnected the call and got her laptop from the back seat. She turned on the data and started browsing the internet.

The phone in her hand kept ringing and she kept disconnecting the call. She sent a text to her phone from the number. With an address and time to meet and switched the phone off. Jav parked the car inside the compound and they entered the house.

"I'm going out soon."

"Where are you going? Can I come too?" he asked. She shook her head and turned him down. She got to her room and change her clothes, she put on a yellow dress and flat sandals before leaving the house.

She drove around the city with no destination in mind, seeing that face that looked just like he gave her some pain in her heart. It was been so long that she has been waiting for him and the universe was also playing a prank on her. She always runs into people who look like him but aren't him. She sighed at how unfortunate she was, she had immortality but no one to spend it with.

Her heart was heavy with sorrow and loneliness. She has been single for 800 years just waiting for him. She was sure that she has broken the world record for how long she has been single, despite all the yearning for a man's touch in her. She never once thought of giving up on waiting for him.

She stopped the car and took out the phone from her purse. She switched it on and saw that she had new messages from her number. She clicked on the message and it was an address and a different time. The owner of the phone couldn't make it to the appointment she set because she set it at midnight. So he requested they meet at the rooftop of the Royal hotel.

She checked the time the message was sent and realized that she was late. She turned the car around and drove full speed passing all the cars in the road. She parked the car and got out and ran into the building, she passed through the walls and climbed floors until she reached the top. She opened the door to the rooftop and went up.

"Is anyone here?" she asked.

"Over here," she heard. The voice sounded familiar to her. It made her heart skip a beat, she turned her head in his direction and saw him. He was standing there next to the edge of the rooftop.

"Do you have my phone?" she asked scared of spending any more minutes with him.

"Yes, it right he.." he said reaching for his bag but slipped and fell off from the roof.

Valeria's heart stopped when he fell from the roof, without thinking she ran and jumped after him. She caught him midair before he hit the ground, her eyes glowed golden color. And they floated in the air in each other's arms. He opened his eyes and looked at her, a small glint of gold flashed in his eyes.

"You," they both said in unison.
