5 Boyfriend

Valeria took Davy down and landed on the ground. She kept him down slowly and carefully. "My phone?" she asked him.

"What are you?" he asked getting his senses back.

"I'm a girl whose phone you are keeping captive," she said walking towards her car.

"Your eyes, they changed color. And you were flying," he said but she ignored him and entered her car. Before she can drive away Davy got into the passenger's seat and locked the door behind him.

"Get out," she instructed him.

"No."

Valeria was too tired of talking to him. Meeting a man who resembled his beloved and wasn't his beloved was too exhausting for her. She drove the car away from the hotel. She looked at him once in a while just to see his face.

"Where do you live. I will take you there," she said to him.

"I will go to your home," Davy replied.

Valeria drove the car around the city picking up a few things that she needed for the house. She necessities like food, drinks, and clothes from different departmental stores around the city.

"You seem rich. What are you?" he questioned. Valeria glanced at him. " If you sit in my car without my permission then don't ask me anything."

She went for her meeting with the granny of order who handles all works related to supernaturals. They had a meeting scheduled for today to discuss her next mission. She parked the car in the driveway. She got out of the car in a hurry as she always does and rushed inside at the speed of lightning.

"Old lady, I am here," she announced as she entered the halls of the mansion. Birds flying in with scrolls flew out of the room in one go the minute they heard her voice.

"Can you please not scare off my help with your killer voice," an old lady said coming out of the library. "You have become worse over the years. Even the birds that used to love you and would crowd around you are scared to be around. They run away the minute they hear your voice.

" They are wise. They know death when they see it. Unlike others who don't see how dangerous I am," she said.

"What is this place?" they both heard. They went wide-eyed and turned around. "Hi," Davy greeted.

Valeria and the granny stared at him with disbelief. She turned to the granny with only one question in mind. "How in the world did a human enter this house?" the granny asked her beating her to asking the very same question.

"I have no idea," she replied remembering the glint in Davy's eyes when she held him. She felt that something was amiss.

"What are you doing here child?" the granny asked him.

"Her," Davy replied pointing at Valeria. "I'm not leaving my girlfriend here alone. So I came to show my support for whatever she is doing here," he said so sweetly like a caring boyfriend.

"Girlfriend?" the granny asked Valeria. "The best killing machine the bureau of supernatural creatures has ever created is dating a high schoolboy. Not to mention the age difference," the granny added.

Valeria glared at her for daring to call her old. She might be 800 years of age but she had the body of a gorgeous young girl. She could even pass off as a high school girl If she wanted to. Not that she would ever consider going to school to study about things that she had witnessed and hear people tell it in a different version than how it happened.

"How can you say.."

"Relax babe, I won't interfere in your work. I love you way too much to do that," he said interrupting her.

"Yes babe, listen to your boyfriend," the granny teased enjoying the scene in front of her eyes. It had been a long time since anyone even talked sweetly to the girl and she was getting worried. She loved the boy's bravery or stupidity. Whatever was driving him to act like that with Valeria.

Valeria walked over to Davy ready to end his life, she tapped her walking stick to the ground and her sword took form. She raised the sword in the air to strike him but the granny intervened. She used her sword to defend him.

"Be careful and get your anger under control. Can't you even recognize the one you have been for? You can't see it but I can, the firefly in his heart, he is the one," she said to her through their link and she froze. Her sword dropped from her hand and hit the ground.

"Don't attack guests in my house," the granny said out loud. "And it's tea time, so let's have tea," she suggested and pulled Valeria and helped her sit down.

Valeria was so shocked at the revelation that she couldn't move or think. It was strange that she had exchanged phones with him and had a second encounter with him which was something that has never happened with the others who had the same face.

"Is she okay?" Davy asked worried that Valeria had gone quiet and wasn't doing anything.

"She is fine. She just found something that she has been looking for for a long time and she has no idea how to react to it."

"What was it that she lost?"

"Her first love. She has been waiting for him for a long time and now she finally has the chance to be with him again," she said.

"Is that so. If you don't mind me asking, what is she?"

"That is a question that only she can answer. If you grow close to her and earn her trust maybe she will tell you," the granny said. She took a sip of her tea feeling happy. At least she helped the girl by pushing Davy towards her.

The granny and Davy had their tea and talked peacefully. They were talking as though they had known each other for a long time.
