91 The End of the Coin Hunt

These players believed Emile had lucky items which allowed him to pass the temple so swiftly.

They attacked him since the safe zone disappeared after the temple collapsed. There weren't too many players. There were only around 50 people who waited for Emile to exit.

They all wanted to kill him since they would get half of his coins. Some knew about this from other people while some attacked people and found out from the first-hand experience.

Emile cast a Yin-Yang blast at the people in front of the pack. Yin-Yang Blast exploded on contact. This killed off the player who got hit by it.

The others around the player took enormous damage. Emile cast a fireball at the opponent.

"He's a Nirvanic." Someone shouted.

"There was only one player in this group who was a Nirvanic. This person shot an air blast at Emile. Emile cast a fireball at the attack.

His overwhelming strength broke the air blast, and the fireball continued on and hit the caster. It dealt lots of damage to the player.

Emile cast another fireball at this opponent while slashing out with his sword. HE killed the players one by one.

He cast fireballs whenever he had a break. The players fell like flies. He had such ease when facing these opponents.

They realized that this was a hopeless situation, so they ran away. Emile chased them and killed them one by one. His speed was so high that only players who were level 9 or 10 with all of their free attribute points into Agility could catch up to him.

Anyone who attacked him would die. Emile didn't kill the players who didn't start an attack.

He received 9 gold coins from the start of the coin hunt. Most of the coins came from killing the players.

Emile walked away from the scene. These fights didn't thrill him anymore. These players were downright weak.

Emile didn't know if a player died three times they would be put into a spectating mode. They could watch the players while in this mode.

Few players had died three times at this point. It was only 45 minutes since the coin hunt began. He didn't know how long it would last for.

Emile walked to another location. 15 minutes passed when the game made another announcement.

[The closest special location is 1348 meters to your southwest]

The game gave directions to allow players to gain more coins. Emile still picked up the copper coins on the floor as he headed in this direction.

This time it was an underground mine. Players could attack you anytime in this mine. Emile decided to charged first since other players were scared to move forward.

Some also headed first to scout the location for other players. Player made allies. At the end of the coin hunt, they would split the coins evenly. They could only make allies with people close to them or else they would get betrayed.

Emiel headed into the mine and with a bit of luck, he reached the end. This mine had a few rides on a minecart.

It was like a maze. It took a lot of trials to reach the end. He wasn't the first person to reach the end. The mine had a mechanism which required at least 10 people in the core for the treasure to appear.

Emile was the 8th person to appear in the core. The game forced them to fight it out if they wanted the treasure.

With no suspense, Emile won the fights. The only troublesome opponent was a level 8. He survived one hit due to some miracle.

Emile finished him with the next hit. These fights weren't to the death. The game allowed the players to survive with one hp.

They watched Emile grab the treasure and walk out of the chamber. Emile received 3 gold coins from this location.

Emile continued to visit the special locations. He ran to these locations without bothering about the copper coins that lied on the floor. Emile received many coins from these special locations.

Any player that attacked him would get killed by him.

This coin hunt lasted for 2 more hours. Emile got 41 gold coins in total. He checked on Severn.

"How many coins do you have," Emile asked.

"I got 20 gold coins," Severn said. Severn traded Emile 10 gold coins which made his total 51 gold coins.

[The coin hunt is at its final stage. We will group the player up to other players with the similar amount of coins. A fight to the death will begin]

This was an interesting way of grouping players. Players who had a similar amount of coin with Emile were few. The people who could get so many coins had to be a good player.

No average player could get this many coins unless someone drove a bus.

The developers waited for most people to get off of work before they held the coin competition which was a thoughtful thing for them to do.

They teleported Emile to an arena.

Emile was in the audience seats.

"Welcome everyone, the first competition will be between players who have 0 copper coins between one silver coin." A host announced.

Few players were in this category. There were more than enough coins littered on the floor to get over one silver coin.

The players who were placed in this category either joined late due to their work taking their time or died three times in the beginning and became a spectator.

This fight didn't have many interesting players other than one who was a Nirvanic. He must have been unlucky to fall in this category. The Nirvanic was the last alive and would receive a prize.

It then moved onto one silver coin between 1 gold coin. This category had the most players. A few billion people were in this category.

They had a few hundred thousand arenas held at the same time. Each arena held 1000 players. They would fight it out and players could watch these fights.

These fights were interesting to watch since players would use different skills. The host would highlight cool kills or anything that was interesting to watch.

They would show the best kills on the giant screen. From long distance kills to the annihilation of large groups. it was thrilling to watch the giant screen.

Emile wanted to befriend a few of these players since their performance was excellent. One player killed 80 players out of 1000 which was almost 1/10 of the total.

The name of this player was Zero Gravity. The man showcased the space abilities of a Nirvanic. He would teleport next to a player and steal their kills.

He was skilled at stealing kills and he was strong.

The man sometimes shot out space blasts which dealt damage to the player. He could attack them with his blades whenever he got close to a player.

Zero Gravity was the last player from his arena.

The winners of the arenas would face off against each other in another arena. They had to do this to get one winner in total.

These battles didn't last long since players died at swift rates.

Zero Gravity won the final arena fight for players between one silver coin and one gold coin. He would receive a prize.

It moved onto the final category of players.

One gold and beyond. This category didn't have many players since it was challenging to reach this amount of gold coins.

Only around 12,000 people had reached this total. There were 12 arenas this time instead of hundreds of thousands.

It was Emile's turn to fight.
