143 The Deer Princess's Loot

The boss dropped only two items when it fell. They didn't kill it from full health which decreased the number of the drops.

Out of the two items, one was Purple Diamond item while the other was a Red Silver item.

Emile's experience bar increased grew closer to level 13. The other party members had their fair share of experience from the boss.

Emile identified the Purple Diamond item.

They were many functions that the boots had. They could summon a small army at a whim, or it could poison a user to death. It even had environment changing skills. The boots could be useful for most of the party.

Nimble Rob wanted the item after seeing the stat.

"Give it to me. Next time a Purple Diamond item appears, I won't take it, you guys can have it."

Scarlet Sunset laughed mischievously before speaking.

"Pay us all one gold coin."

Nimble Rob thought she was asking for real, so he looked for gold coins from his inventory. He didn't have enough gold coins to give one to each party member. Nimble Rod felt dejected. The curse meter rose once more, this time reaching 35%.

Scarlet Sunset quickly changed her wording after she realized that he couldn't take a joke.

"I'm joking. Give the one gold coin to FBS Fulcron, and I'm okay with you taking the item," Scarlet Sunset said.

"Don't act excited," Scarlet Sunset gave a quick warning to stop him from increasing his curse meter.

Nimble Rod gave a slight nod.

"I already have a decent pair of boots which are Red Silver ranked, so I don't need it," Emile said with a shrug. Emile got the Red Silver boots from the Phoenix boss. He needed to wait until level 15 before he could equip the pieces of equipment that were Purple Diamond.

Flower Queen also wanted the item.

They both rolled a die. Whoever got the highest number wins the item.

They rolled at the same time, and Nimble Rod won the item with a 65. Flower Queen got 57.

Nimble Rod sent a trade request to FBS Fulcron who walked around killing deer. He was testing his class against the snow in his anger for not leaving the area quickly.

FBS Fulcron accepted the trade and received the gold coin. The free money out of nowhere made him feel better. FBS Fulcron took a few deep breaths and moved on from his failure. He would have to test his emotional control later. For now, he tried to act cold and distant which was on the other end of the spectrum when considering his normal personality.

While FBS Fulcron was training himself, the other party member looked at the other Red Silver item.

"That is such a good skill..." Emile said.

"That could help our guild a lot," Scarlet Sunset said.

"Yeah," Nimble Rod said. He didn't know what else to say about the discovery.

"So, who wants the item," Emile asked.

Everyone in the party, except Nimble Rod wanted the item. Nimble Rod didn't want to hog all the items for himself, so he backed out.

The other party members rolled for the item.

Emile with a 33. Flower Queen with a 36. Scarlet Sunset with an 84.

Scarlet Sunset won the item and equipped it instantly. Her damage output increase by a giant margin when compared to her previous self.

The party split the coins evenly. Emile received some gold coins from the endeavor causing his total to be 54 gold coins.

The party walked down the stairs to the 2nd floor underneath the lounge. They needed to travel one flower deeper before they entered the layer with the guild leader.

The gate that the system locked behind a boss was now open. They walked through and a system notification appeared.

[The system will now test you by how strong your stats are. If you cannot reach certain scores, the system will not grant you the access to the bottom floor]

"Does anyone want to volunteer first?" Emile asked the party. He didn't want to be the first person to go.

"I want to go first," Scarlet Sunset volunteered to go first.

The party wished her luck as she stepped forward into the room. A wall appeared in front of her with a handprint on it.

[Place your hand on the handprint when the sign says a stat]

The first thing it tested was the strength stat which was a stat she didn't use often. She excelled at long range damage, but not close range, so she never placed stats into strength.

Scarlet Sunset placed her hand on the handprint which gave her a number.

The tests determined a number from zero to 100. She failed the test by getting a 37 on strength. They could compare her strength to being slightly weaker than the average person. Getting 40 is the average player.

It moved on to test her agility. She passed the test since her agility was slightly high due to her equipment. She received a 66 on agility.

Vitality was 31. It was as low as she expected. Another failure.

She was about to hit her strong points which were Spirit and Intelligence. It first tested Intelligence where she got a 98.

Spirit was her highest stat. She waited for the game to activate and it told her that her Spirit was at 100. She felt excited about the first 100 she received.

They didn't know how they graded the tests. It seemed random since 100 shouldn't be possible. 100 meant perfection which Scarlet Sunset was far from.

These test had certain peak values. If the player surpassed the peak values it would stay at 100. It wouldn't go beyond 100.

Scarlet Sunset passed 3 out of 5 of the tests.

The other party members wanted to try the machine and see their results. A sense of competition arose within the party.
