114 The Cinder Goat

Emile shot a few BLB's at the boss. The boss took more damage from the attacks. He would use Yin-Yang Blast whenever it was off cooldown and use BLB's whenever that was off cooldown.

The other skills that Emile had weren't high proficiencies meaning he didn't understand the element as much as the other ones. If he improved his understanding of the element, then he could fuse the elements into other elements.

The boss was about to fall when it used its ultimate skill. It created a large water storm around it. The people moved out of the way. Only the tank stayed back and tanked the hits. The priest was helping him survive by healing him.

Emile's party had to move back for the whirlpool to not catch them in its grasps. He could still shoot out his spells from the distance.

The boss continued to lose health until it finally perished due to a strike by a warrior.

Those people picked up the equipment and gave two to Emile's party.

Emile realized that he hated to be one the one receiving the items from others. He wanted to earn the items for himself by killing the Nymph.

Emile gave his party the items to decide amongst themselves. Emile didn't need to always get an item from the bosses.

Emile hated being weaker than others. He could accept a loss from multiple people, but if he lost to an individual, then his fighting spirit would ignite with passion. Challenging the person multiple times until he won would be his method to victory.

He hadn't encountered a person who could beat him on a 1v1 while on fairgrounds.

Emile couldn't use his infusion skills often since he was fighting from long range.

They realized that the next mob to appear were goats. These goats were on fire which was a surprising scene to see. The goats could put someone on fire which was a debuff. The person would take damage over time.

A water attack seemed to remove the fire. Emile would use a water sphere whenever he was set on fire. The water sphere was a lifesaver during the battles. It could deal damage to the goats and remove the fire debuff from allies.

Emile could explode the water sphere above someone's head causing them to become wet and lose the debuff. This was an easy way to remove the debuff without damaging an ally's health.

Emile didn't want to kill someone with his water sphere and have to apologize for his mistakes. It would be best if that scenario was avoided.

These goats were level 15, They gave lots of experience to Emile and his party. The other players were coping with the situation. They were struggling to fight against these mobs.

Emile's party was stronger than the average party which allowed them to have a relatively easy time during the fight.

The goats were annoyingly loud. Emile's ear rang every time they said anything. He was waiting for the boss to appear and to fight against it,

This defense was going much better than he would have anticipated.

Soon, as if on cue the boss appeared.

It was a giant goat with red horn rams. It's back had a fire that burned with vigor. The goat had red eyes like all the other creatures they had seen. Emile thought the red eyes matched the goat since it looked strong with those eyes.

The NPC's took control of the boss and attacked it. They had someone take each hit, while the other's dealt damage any way they wanted. Some shoot spells, while others summoned creatures to fight for them.

It was a chaotic sight to behold. Emile ran forwards and attacked the goat at close range. His party stayed behind since they couldn't dodge the attacks like Emile. His dodging abilities was proving to be useful once more.

Emile could evade the goat's attacks with ease. Emile's ability to dodge impressed the surrounding people. He was better when he attacked at close range. The boss lost health due to the assortment of attacks that flew towards it.

Soon, the boss cast its first skill which made its ram glow brightly. The rams were supercharged. It charged towards Emile. Emile was the closest person for a short time, so it targeted him.

The ram moved at lightning speeds. Emile activated the wind gem as he fast as his arms could move. The wind gem activated at the right time, pushing him away from the goat. The goat chased after the wind that Emile was riding on. It was slowly catching up.

He needed to remove the goat from his trail.

Luckily, an assassin appeared out of nowhere and attacked the goat's rear which caused the goat to feel enraged. This assassin was Lily. She had saved Emile's life from the goat.

She re-entered stealth before retreating away from the boss.

The boss lost its skill and returned back to being normal.

The other people ran forward and continued to deal damage to the goat. Emile also joined in. He wasn't lucky when the goat ran towards him when it used its first skill.

Emile and the other people attacked the boss. Other players joined in on the fight after realizing that there was a boss. Bosses gave the best experience yield and the best loot.

The bosses health drained faster and faster. It used skill after skill, but nothing worked.

The players grew excited and wanted to get the last hit to kill the boss. These players ran forwards and attacked the boss in close range.

The weird thing about the boss was that it didn't use an ultimate skill.

These bosses had some ultimate skill that would deal lots of damage. But this goat on fire proved them wrong. It slowly died. Its health grew lower and lower.

For an unknown reason, Emile felt a sense of danger well up in him. He didn't know where the danger came from.

"Guys, I think we should retreat," Emile said as his danger sense grew higher and higher.

The players snickered at Emile's response. Some gullible players moved back due to Emile's warning. Players who stayed to get the last hit judged the people who moved back.

One lucky player hit the boss with a wind blast, killing it off.

As soon as the bosses health dropped to zero, it exploded. Th explosion was a solid 15x15. Emile's party had retreated far away.

They watched the explosion engulf dozens of players trying to get the last hit. Around 50 players died due to the explosion. Three NPC's died due to the explosion. Emile knew none of the NPC's who died.

He mourned for the people who perished and couldn't revive again. Some of the creatures who passed away were the goblins.

The players who wanted to get the last hit weren't the brightest in their heads. The players who believed Emile's words felt thankful for making an impulsive decision and retreating.

The battle entered the final stages as dark clouds moved into the plains.
