162 Red Silver Potential

"So which one of you will tell me where your base is?" Emile tried going with a tough guy attitude. He sounded aggressive when asking.

"W-Will you release us if we s-say?"

"Depends. I'm in the mood to kill things, but I could be nice... if I hear a satisfying answer," Emile said. He continued with the tough attitude.

"I'll tell yo-"

"No! Let me!"

"F*ck you! Let me tell him and I'll ask him to release all of us."

The bandits argued over who would get to Emile the answer he wanted. If they weren't tied up, they would start a fight with each other for the right to speak.

Emile pointed at one person and spoke.

"You. Talk."

The man's smile crept up his face after he found out he was chosen to talk.

"If you walk that way for like three minutes maybe four, you'll see three more bandits like us. Behind them is a large camp of bandits. There are a lot of bandits in the camp. That's it."

The man didn't give any other information.

"Is that all?" Emile question with a glare.

"When did Emile become so scary?" FBS Fulcron whispered to Nimble Rod.

"I don't know. He's so cool though," Nimble Rob whispered with excitement.

"Y-Yeah. I-I have nothing else to add."

The bandit said with his head down. His body shook from either fear or the cold. Emile didn't know which caused the reaction.

"I have something to add!"

Another bandit took the limelight. The other bandit glared at him.

"Speak," Emile said with intrigue.

"There are 55 bandits who are level 16. 32 bandits who are level 17. And 12 bandits who are level 18. The boss is the only bandit who's level 19 and has the buff of a legendary thief."

The bandit spewed information out.

"Why do you know this?" Emile asked. He wouldn't trust the information he received from untrustworthy people unless he was certain of its truthfulness.

"I'm part of the logistics team of the bandits. I calculate how much money we make and keep track of the people. Sitting around and calculating all day bore me, so I headed out of the camp and rob people for fun. And now I'm here..."

The bandit said as he looked down at the ground. He realized that sitting around in the camp would have been a better idea, but now he couldn't care less about the camp. He already betrayed them, so going back wasn't an option for the man.

"Thanks for the info. If anyone else wants to add anything, then feel free," Emile said as he looked around.

They had their head down as they thought about the information they could tell him. Giving false information to the party would have been the smart decision if they weren't shaking in their boots with fear.

"I think I got enough information from them," Emile said to the party.

"Aren't you going to ask about what equipment they have?" Scarlet Sunset said.

"Oh, yeah. What equipment do the bandits were?" Emile asked the bandits.

"Leather, sometimes heavy armor. They are usually common items and sometimes uncommon. Only the top rank people have rare items!"

One bandit shouted out the answer. It was useful since it stopped any squabbling that could have occurred between the bandits.

"Ask them about how strong the bandits are. If they have the same strength as you who can fight enemies multiple levels above your own, then we're screwed," Scarlet Sunset said.

"They have around the same amount of strength as us."

These bandits were cooperative and gave responses when they needed them. They told the party with information about their base.

"Can we help you stop the bandits?" Hazane said with a pleading tone. His other party members nodded.

"There's nothing wrong with it. You can join us," Emile said with a shrug.

[A person with a Red Silver level potential has joined your temporary party]

Emile received a new notification that he hadn't seen before. It was a notification that there was someone with Red Silver level potential. Emile didn't know what that meant.

Did it mean that the person could reach a higher peak than someone else? Did it mean that they could create Red Silver items? Does it mean that they would grow faster than others?

Someone could easily answer some of those questions. The third question was correct since the person could attain newer heights by climbing up the levels faster than others with less talent.

The only time Emile saw a potential stat was when he saw Severn's stats. His potential was unknown which could be a positive or negative thing.

Emile identified the adventurers.

Emile identified the lady.

Emile found a gem. A gem buried in rubble waiting for the first peek at sunlight. She had a bloodline which he would have to discover slowly and improve.

She had light green hair with long hair flowing down her back. She wore robe-like clothes which drooped down. Hazel colored eyes. Small chest.

For now, Emile wanted her to be his knight. She had the potential to become his knight. Severn did his duty of protection during certain times since Emile needed no help. Having her close by could allow him to teach her about fighting and other techniques.

She could become valuable to the group in the future.

Everything would happen later. The first thing he wanted to do was, determine what sort of personality she had.

"Nice to meet you, Ms..." Emile used his hand to indicate for her to speak.

"Serena. You need not call me Ms. Serena, I'm not old after all," She said with a gentle smile. She seemed like a noble, but most nobles, especially female nobles, don't choose to become an adventurer.

Emile wanted to show courtesy towards the third party member, so he greeted him as well. It would take time to win Serena over as his knight, so Emile didn't plan to rush it. He would become familiar with her until she could maintain and hold a conversation with them.

Emile and the party analyzed the information to see what they could do to take out the entire bandit group.

"Should we use our guild to overpower them with numbers?" FBS Fulcron said.

"No. That requires a lot of resources as a prize for the guild members. We can't afford to waste precious resources. That's why we're doing this quest. To get more stuff for the guild," Flower Queen said. Flower Queen walked with a worried look in her face while brainstorming half of the time.

Flower Queen noticed a particular glint in Emile's eyes when he stared at Serena. Her intuition told her that Emile wanted her. That girl's only an NPC what does she have that I don't? Does Emile like small chests?

She was making wild assumptions off her own thoughts. (1)

Emile had no unpure thoughts when he examined Serena. He only wanted her for her future potential.

Lily regained herself and continued to brainstorm ways to capture the bandit group. She was open-minded, so it didn't take long for her to be convinced or undecided on an idea.
