96 Participating in the Local Event

The person with the cat t-shirt cast a fireball into the air. They shot multiple attacks into the air.

These attacks exploded in the air and created a beautiful firework. The others did their set of moves.

Some used wind to knock objects over from the distance. Some shot water spheres that exploded in the air and sprayed water into the surroundings.

These attacks were flashy. An earth caster created a rough replica of an old monument.

They created the Eiffel tower that existed a few decades ago. Sadly, due to terrorism, the original Eiffel tower was obliterated. They rebuilt the Eiffel tower a few years later with new and improved materials.

One person had space wielding abilities and could move an object without touching it. After a few moments, they stopped due to tiredness.

The others stopped using their skills.

"I hope you enjoyed the first demonstration," the man with the mic said."If there are any Nirvanics in the crowd. We would love to see you up here to show off a few of your moves." the man said.

He looked to the left and to the right with suspicion before speaking again, "Keep this between us, I heard you could win money if you compete."

"You didn't hear from me or else they'll fire me," the man said with a laugh. He had lots of confidence and was witty with his words.

"Prizemoney? That's an interesting way of getting Nirvanics to go on the stage," Emile said. He looked over to see Lily standing up.

"Let's go," Lily said as she grabbed Emile's hand to pull him up. Emile got up due to her urgings.

"Are you sure you want to go on stage," Emile said as they walked down the stairs to reach the bottom.

"Well, It should be fun to go on stage," Lily said with a laugh. Emile had never seen her be this ecstatic. Agrin was on her face as she walked down the stairs.

Ever since a young age, she had to restrict her powers while in public. Now that the world knew about Nirvanics, she lost her burden to conceal her powers from the world. This was her way of releasing her burdens.

Emile caught onto this and asked no more questions. They reached the bottom where the man was talking to Nirvanics who stepped out of the crowd.

"This young lady has the power of darkness, so give her a round of applause for her courage to step forward," the man said into his mic.

"What element do you two have?" the man asked with a curious tone. He pushed the mic away. This man was gentle when speaking and was easy to interact with.

"I have the element of earth," Lily said.

"I have the element of... fire," Emile said.

"This beautiful lady and her handsome boyfriend have the element of earth and fire," the man said into the mic.

A light blush appeared on Lily's face for a few moments before disappearing back to her natural pale white skin.

Emile chuckled slightly.

"It's all right," Lily whispered to Emile.

Emile didn't say anything. They walked into the crowd of Nirvanics.

While waiting for the man to finish introducing the people, Emile and Lily talked to the other Nirvanics.

"I'm still shocked that I could create a waters sphere. Do you know how cool that is?" One Nirvanic was saying to another.

"Have you practiced using your skills," Emile said.

"I've used it once in my home and got yelled at for water leaking through the floors. I went to a Nirvanic Gym and saw other people who had the same abilities as me." the man said.

"Oh yeah, I got wind as my element. I can clean my room without moving around which makes my life so much easier. I wanted the fire element, but now I'm in love with the wind," another man said.

A conversation about the people's daily lives began. Emile and Lily told them about their life stories.

Emile had nothing interesting happen to him when he used his skill. He used his skill responsibly which didn't cause many interesting scenarios. Lily told them how she used her earth abilities to take care of her plants.

The man with the mic began to speak.

"All right. We have 40 members who are Nirvanic. We'll hold a competition between these people. This will be a safe competition since they gave us tools to stop Nirvanic attacks from reaching the audience." the man with mic said to the audience.

These words reassure the crowd since they were terrified of someone using their abilities for evil and attacking the people in the audience.

"These fights will end when the person says they give up or when they die. Let me clarify, it's not an actual death. We will prevent any deaths from occurring, so don't worry about the contestants." The man with the mic said.

"Please wear these vests. They protect you from the attacks. These vests have a life bar associated with it. These life bars adapt to your bodies condition. If you're fit, then you'll have more health and if you're weak, then you'll have less health," The man with the mic said.

The vest would calculate how much damage the attacks would do to the body and lower the life of the vest accordingly. When the person's life vest reached zero that means they would have died if they weren't wearing the vests.

These vests were created for battles to the death. The vest covered the entire body and the face. The person sees through the vest, so vision wasn't a problem.

Whenever the person became weaker due to blood loss or anything else, the vest would become heavier to simulate the body being weary. It was an outstanding creation.

All these features allowed for a real-life fight to the death without the person getting injured or dying.

Emile wore the vest for the first time. He moved his arms around to see if he felt uncomfortable. He couldn't feel much of a difference.

All Emile could sense was that his weight had increased by a small margin which wouldn't cause major problems for Emile.

The first battle began. Emile charged forward. He liked to be the aggressive one whenever he fought. He cast a fireball at the opponent while charging towards them.

"Wow, look at the man! He cast a fireball while running. How superb!" the man with the mic pointed at Emile.

The fireball landed on the person. The man cast an earth ball and shot it at Emile.

Emile evaded the attack. The man couldn't evade his fireballs and got hit by it.

His life bar decreased by a decent amount. The explosion of the fireball caused a lot of damage. His health surprised the man. His vest became heavier.

The fireball would have injured the man and caused him to be weaker than his strongest point. He created a few more earth balls with difficulty, but Emile evaded them with ease.

Emile depleted the life points by shooting out more fireballs causing the person to 'die'.

"That young man has won his battle," the man with the mic pointed at Emile.

Lily was showing off her tricks by creating Mud Walls to block the opponent's attacks. She was toying with the person.

A few minutes later, her opponent gave up after failing to hit her a single time. Lily stuck her tongue out towards the man before skipping towards Emile.
