"Alright, the first thing we got was coins," Handsomest Crab said.

"They were a poor bunch of players, they only dropped 230 copper coins," He quickly said.

They split the amount based on how many people they killed. Emile killed 4 of the players. So he received 131 copper coins.

Flower Queen killed two players. She received a decent amount of coins.

They dropped three pieces of equipment. The first was a pair of boots.

Common Boots of the Wicked

A pair of boots made for the wicked.

The boots didn't have any skills. Emile wanted the item since he didn't have a good pair of boots yet.

They allowed Emile to have the boots since he killed the most players. He equipped it.

They got leggings as well.

The leggings were very useful. Everyone wanted the leggings for the skill. The only downside of the leggings was the stats.

They all rolled. Emile rolled a 94 and won the leggings. He equipped the item which increased his stats a small amount.

"I'm going to log out now," Emile quickly said.

It was approaching midnight when he logged out. Emile ordered some dinner and then fell asleep.

The next morning he went to his university to have classes. It was an uneventful day for him.

After university, he didn't go back home. He chose to go to his father's dojo to test out his abilities. He took the bus and arrived at his father's dojo.

His father, Lucifer, was practicing on one of the practice dummies. Lucifer noticed Emile and challenged him to a spar. Emile accepted.

They took out the wooden swords from the rack. Emile decided to charge at Lucifer.

He went for a jab, Emile gave himself some leeway because he needed to dodge the counter-attack. Lucifer jumped to the left and went for a horizontal slash aimed at Emile's arm.

Emile moved his arm out of the way by maneuvering his body. His body was very flexible which allowed him to do this.

Emile ended his jab mid-strike and started to go for a horizontal attack. He did this while dodging the attack.

He wouldn't be able to do this if he didn't fight the bunny king which tested his reaction time to the extremes.

Lucifer felt surprised that Emile could improve this much in a short amount of time.

Lucifer didn't show the surprise on his face. He calmly used Void-Steps to move out of the path of the attack.

He arrived behind Emile. Lucifer jabbed his sword at Emile's back. Emile noticed this and chose to run forward. He managed to avoid the attack. Emile turned around and faced Lucifer.

Lucifer charged at him while using Void-Steps. He wanted to confuse Emile since he knew that Emile was only in the intermediate stage of Void-Steps.

Emile had a calm-front. Lucifer thought that he was bluffing. Emile wasn't bluffing.

He attacked Emile aiming at this chest. Emile side-stepped out of the way and did a vertical slash aimed at the sword.

Lucifer's sword got hit by his sword. His sword started to point towards the floor.

Lucifer tried to lift his sword up. But Emile quickly went for an attack aimed at Lucifer's shoulder.

Lucifer released his sword decisively. He did this to have a chance at dodging the attack.

He dodged the attack successfully. Emile lunged at him and attacked him. Lucifer attempted to use Void-Steps to evade the attack.

Emile also used Void-Steps to catch up to Lucifer and attacked him in the shoulder. Lucifer got hit.

"I think we should end the spar here, I'm surprised that you grew so strong so quickly, have you played Nirvana yet," He asked Emile as he sighed.

"Yeah," he didn't let go of his guard.

"You can let go of your guard now, I think your strong enough to learn some information," He said while admiring his son.

"Why do you think Martial Arts still exists in this day and age," he asked.

Emile started to think about his words. He didn't know why it existed. It was a niche subject to learn about. Martial Artists seemed useless in this day and age.

"The goal of a Martial Artist is to become stronger, right," he asked.

"Yeah," Emile replied.

"At some point, people couldn't break past a certain barrier whilst improving themselves," he said.

"The entire Martial World came to a halt until a certain ancestor realized a different type of potential that humans had in them," he continued.

"The ability to use powers," He dropped a bombshell.

"Uhh... What does that mean," Emile asked unsure of what that meant.

"Let me show you," he said.

He opened his palm. The temperature started to rise irrationally. Emile felt a sense of warmth. A small silver-colored flame appeared in Lucifer's hand.

"When did you have time to learn magic tricks," Emile asked after looking at the flame.

"It's not a magic trick," Lucifer replied dejectedly, he thought he would be able to amaze Emile.

He released his flame towards the floor. The floor started to burn up. Before a hole in the ground appeared the flame quickly dissipated.

"That was a bloodline skill," Lucifer said.

"Can I do that as well," Emile said excitedly.

"Yeah, I was going to teach you after you became stronger than me with just your mortal body," He said.

"Bloodline means from a family heritage right," Emile asked curiously.

"Yeah," he said with a hint of sorrow in his voice.

"What happened to our family," Emile had asked this question many times before, but the answer never came out of Lucifer's mouth. He kept the secret sealed.

"They were... annihilated," Lucifer said while clenching his fists tightly.

"By who..." Emile asked sensing the pain that Lucifer felt.

"By... I won't tell you," He nearly said who they were but he regained his composure and stopped himself.

"Why are you so secretive, I'll just learn how to do that and annihilate them," Emile quickly said.

"I'll continue, our family used to be one of the top-ranked families in the world, we had power, wealth, everything we could imagine," Lucifer replied.

"There are 4 other extremely powerful families as well, 2 of them allied up to annihilate us, those families all had a unique bloodline skill like our family. Our family controlled fire." continued Lucifer.

"Why did they annihilate us," Emile asked.

"We were growing too strong, they wanted our territory, I think," said Lucifer in an unsure tone. He moved his hands around to show a massive territory.

Lucifer changed the subject to Nirvana.

"Why do you think governments around the world worked together to create this game," asked Lucifer. (1)

Emile still felt confused, but some pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place.

"They are using Nirvana as a training ground to train people with powers. Any class that has Ancient in it can be learned in the real world. They are very rare though," he continued.

"Uhh, one of my friends got a legacy called the Ancient Mage," Emile said.

"That should be an allrounder class, if he tries out the skills in real-life he will become a power wielder. We call the people who are power wielders as the Nirvanic," he paused.

"Nirvanic people can grow very powerful, strong enough to survive an atomic bomb. The government noticed this and wanted to have their own set of Nirvanic people. So they all worked together to create a training ground to train and create more Nirvanic's," he continued.

"This is a lot of information to take in, " he ended his long speech.
