135 Liberia Volcano

The next morning, Emile woke up early to get ready for class. He went to class like normal and studied with no thoughts of Nirvana.

After his classes ended, Emile walked backed home and logged onto Nirvana.

Emile appeared back at the location with the zebras, except that the zebras weren't there anymore. It was daytime, so they hid somewhere in the world. An unsolved mystery for most humans.

Some party members were online. Not all of them were on yet.

Emile asked them to meet up at the White Star City's teleporter. Some party members arrived quickly. Some weren't online. Time Walker and Scarlet Sunset weren't on which wasn't normal for them. Emile ignored the fact that they weren't online and asked the remaining party a question.

"All right, do you guys want to go to the next location?" Emile asked.

"Let's go to Liberia Volcano," FBS Fulcron said. He had the fire element, so he went to a place that also had lots of fire and flames inside.

"Any objections," Emile replied.

The others shrugged to show that they didn't care about where they traveled next.

Emile and the party teleported to Liberia City which was a city surrounding a small mountain. The mountain was completely hollow and served as a marketplace and other hubs for the people.

Emile's party used the directions that they received from a nearby person and walked towards Liberia Volcano. The volcano was slightly big. It wouldn't erupt anytime soon. It was lying dormant.

They arrived at the base of the mountain. There were many small intricate tunnels on the side of the volcano. They lead to the deeper areas of the volcano. Lave flowed at the core of the volcano. The red lions roamed around the tunnels.

Emile's party walked into the tunnel. They noticed small red rocks sticking on the side of the walls. The hot temperature generated by the volcano created these rocks.

The temperature got hotter the deeper they went through the tunnel. Emile used a few fire skill points to increase his heat resistance. Emile felt comfortable after buying the heat resistance. The other party members continued feeling hot as they headed deeper inside.

"This is why I hate hot places," Flower Queen said as she wiped the sweat off her brow for the umpteenth time.

"Do you want to stop and take a break?" Emile asked. He didn't want to see her struggle.

"No, the more we stay here the hotter we will get, so let's maintain a fast pace," Flower Queen said.

They soon encountered their first Red Lion. It had a shiny dark red mane. Its eyes scarlet colored could be seen through the pitch black darkness.

Emile identified the Red Lion.

The party walked up to it and attacked. Luckily, the mob worked the same way as other mobs where they took damage. These Lions didn't have a unique way of killing them like the star zebras. The party attacked the lion.

The lion roared out summoning more from its pack. It attacked with flaming tackles. It surrounded itself with flames and charged at a player. The person dodged out of the way and continued attacking. They killed the first lion, but four more appeared in the tunnels.

The first thing the Lions did was to call out other members of the lion pack. Their roars synced into one uniform voice. Lions from deep in the tunnels heard the sound and began walking towards it.

Emile's party killed the lions one by one.

The number of lions they had to face off was increasing over time. The party killed 20 of them before it overwhelmed them with numbers. Emile used {Shadow Domain} which was an AOE skill from his sword. It did 50 damage per second to the enemy.

The lions died one by one. It took around 15 seconds for the Lions to lose all of their health. Emile quickly killed over 30 Red Lions which gave him lots of experience at once. Not enough to level him up.

These lions gave a final death screech before they disappeared from the world. Emile and the other party members grabbed the loot with the fastest speed they could muster.

After grabbing a lot of the items, they ran away since they knew there would be more lions appearing in the volcano. Way more than what they killed thus far.

The party made a wise decision since the Red Lion Queen also came out of her resting position and ran towards the screams.

She arrived to see her tribesmen massacred and raged around inside the volcano.

They could hear the Queen's roar in the nearby city which caused the members of the Adventure Guild to investigate the noise. The adventure guild tracked down the roars to the volcano and sent an expedition to the volcano.

The members of the expedition found and killed the Red Lion Queen. It was a tragic few days for the Red Lion family. Though all of this would occur in the near future.

The party ran out of the tunnels. The lions followed far behind them by sniffing out their location.

"Let's activate our space gems now," FBs Fulcron said after they exited the tunnels. They didn't want to be attacked when activating the space gems, so they ran out of the tunnels to get distance from the Red Lions.

The party teleported to White Star City once more.

"Man, those space gems are so good," FBS Fulcron said.

"You should create a shop where you sell the space gems," Flower Queen continued FBS Fulcron's line of thought.

"I need to create one, but I don't have the permissions to make one," Emile said with a shrug. He didn't have a stable source of income in the game.

"Do you guys want to use the 7500 gold coins that we receive for the shop?" Emile asked.

"Even though I want the money badly, I think the best course of action is to use it create a shop," FBS Fulcron said after a few moments. He thought about the options and picked the one that could create the most profit in the long run.

"I vote on the same thing," Nimble Rod said.

"Same for me," Flower Queen said.

"I don't care too much about the gold coins. We should use it for future activities," Severn said.

"Now, all we need to do is ask Scarlet Sunset and Time Walker about our course of actions," Emile said.

"Yep," FBS Fulcron replied.

"Now, we should head to the last location to get the Winter Deer and finish the quest," Nimble Rod said.

Emile checked the information that Scarlet Sunset gave him the previous day. He read through the information about the Winter Deer.

"All right, we need to teleport to Lyria City and walk out of the north gate to reach the Winter Tree Forest," Emile said.

"Isn't Lyria City in our region of land," Flower Queen said as she pulled up the region map. She scoured for the city and found it near the border of the region. The mapmakers cut part of the Lyria's City's surroundings due to the region not being big enough.

Winter Tree Forest was past the border, so it wasn't viewable on the map.

"That's cool, we got a location that's nearby instead of some distant region far, far away," FBS Fulcron said.

Emile's party was heading towards the city with the many problems.
